Alison is a wonderful host and responded to our questions promptly. The house and property were clean and well taken care of. Our party was five adults, two teens and two younger kids and the house accommodated us very well and everyone was able to find a place to get away if needed. The front porch is great.

A very well stocked kitchen! A wonderful setting across from the lake, very peaceful. Alison was very easy to work with. Highly recommend it !

The comfort of this home and the accessibility of the lake with swimming and boating all added to our family's delight with our vacation. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms fit the needs of our family ( 7 adults and 2 children) very well. The front porch was our favorite spot at any time of day. We loved our stay, communicated well with the owner, and hope to return for another family vacation!

A renovated historic lakefront home, beautifully decorated with plenty of room for our family of seven adults, two toddlers and two dogs. Close to wineries and a short drive to Ithaca and Seneca Falls.We spent a lovely week exploring the area.Our hosts could not have been more generous and gracious.

it was a very nice home with lots of character. comfortable and good times on the porch overlooking the lake. had a great time boating, skiing, tubing and a lot of water activities. one recommendation we would make is that you would treat for the bugs that were in the upstairs bathroom. not terrible, just a little annoying. other than that, a very pleasant stay. hostess was very responsive and accommodating to our questions

The house is amazing. It's very clean, great location with the lake access, pet friendly. Allison communicated very well. She took care of a fallen tree during the storm in such a quick amount of time that didn't impact our stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again in the future.

House was extremely clean. Kitchen is spacious. Front porch is wonderful for relaxing and nice views of the lake. Boat launch up the road is convenient. The owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay there with the family again.

This is a beautiful house where we have stayed twice over the years. There are many comfortable rooms for the whole family to enjoy. The lake and the lake deck are great for a quiet morning or a late night bonfire. The kitchen is well equipped. The space is lovely and well decorated. The entire multigenerational family enjoyed our stay.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! I love when people come multiple times, so they can see the improvements we make over the years! At first we rented it so we could afford to get it fixed up. Now, we still do that, but we have the added element of being proud of what we accomplish each year, and our repeat guests get to go along for the ride! Hopefully we will see you again next year! This was the second time we've stayed at this property for a multi-generational get-together, with dogs. We had a great time again. The lake beach with dock, across a usually quiet road, is great for kids (and dogs), though you'll want water shoes. The yard is big--kids and dogs spent a lot of time there-- and so is the house, which is set up so that people can have their own spaces or everyone can be together. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. We enjoyed the bench swing on the porch, too. The porch is also big enough to be a good play space for kids. Lots to like, and nothing to complain about. The renovated downstairs bathroom is nice.

Girls getaway

This was a great location! There is a terrific bar and brunch/ breakfast spot next door. The street is beautiful and not busy. The lake is so lovely!

Niece’s Wedding

Great place to stay. Location was awesome. We were there for a wedding in the area. Family from all over the country were able to stop by for dinner or just a drink. Lake was amazing with plenty to do for all ages.

Wonderful Memories for a Family Weekend

Beautiful home with everything we needed for a family getaway. The front porch was one of my favorite spots to sit with the grandkids and watch the lake. Plenty of room for everyone and lots to do in the area as well.

Lakeside Vacation

Great time with family. Excellent location with a very communucative and respinsive host. The house is located with a great view of the lake. Ot is perfect for a laid back getaway.We had some grey weather but still had a great time with family playing games and relaxing walks.

Fantastic home with a great hostess

Beautiful Home and Beautiful Location!

Our family had a wonderful long weekend staying at the Painted Porch. It is a great home in a great location. The home has a large yard, as well as direct and close access to the water. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away at the lake.
