The house was perfect for our family. It had plenty of space for us to spend time together and honor our late father who is buried at Sampson Cemetery.

The property was very clean and perfectly sized for our group! I was a little disappointed that the dock was not installed for my trip due to weather, and the property manager did not let us know until 24 hr prior. Note to future travelers: bring extra toilet paper, because my group of 13 ran out! Despite small hiccups, I would stay here again!

Perfect girls weekend!

We had an amazing stay here, the house accommodated our group of 12 adults with no issues! The house has amazing lake views and is beautiful inside and out! Kitchen was well equipped even for our large group. We already want to come back!

Beautiful

Very nice property. We could have used more outside garbage cans. Plenty of room and a nice property!

Grande Dame Finger Lakes Adventure 2024

We enjoyed our stay at Grande Dame. It was a nice location, close to the wineries, and safe place to walk your dogs. We did have problems locking the one door to the deck, but otherwise had no issues with property.

Covers all your needs

Clean. Comfortable and can handle 13 in beds. I would stay here again for sure. Just some small issues such as the glass door being tricky to lock and hard to find in the dark.

Bachelorette Trip

This was a wonderful place to stay for a bachelor and bachelorette trip we had planned to take all as one large group! The house was a beautiful retreat and the management company was very responsive when we messaged with questions about the property. Close enough to an array of wineries and golf courses for everyone to enjoy! The fire pit and adirondack chairs were a lovely place to unwind and relax after a days long adventure. Only gripe was that early check in was not possible, but we enjoyed our stay without a second thought about it! Could not recommend this place enough!

Winery Getaway

We had a group of 11 friends, mostly couples and this house accommodated all of us very well! The beds were all comfortable and the house was very clean. We enjoyed having a fire pit with seats outside. There’s also ample seating inside for if everyone wants to congregate in the kitchen/living room area. Check-out was easy and we appreciated that there wasn’t a list of things we had to do before leaving.

Great place - great for couples

Beautiful spacious home. Laid out very smart for couples. Great kitchen, dining area and living room. An absolutely beautiful view of the lake. Easy check in and check out. Would have liked a few more incidentals. We only had 2 dishwasher pods. The kitchen was bare…no salt/pepper, oil, or seasonings. The lighting was very poor inside. Bulbs needed replaced and just not bright enough. But an overall great place

Finger Lakes

We were surprised to find that we weren’t right on the lake that it was across the street. The area that the home within was very nice they park right up the street for the kids to play at. Check in was easy and done electronically Upon arrival, I had to take care of a huge fly infestation, which was really kind of disgusting. Kitchen was nice and well equipped Living room was small for the amount of people with the house can accommodate. When one of the guests sat on their bed, the bed fell to the ground. The pillows were very uncomfortable.

Great property, but had some hiccups

Overall, the property was terrific, well outfitted, and we had a great time. Two hiccups definitely impact my rating, however. First, there is a large outdoor table with chairs pictured on the listing on the deck, which our large group anticipated using for dinners during our stay. However, it was missing when we arrived. When I reached out to the property manager, they did send someone to locate and put it out for our second day, but we missed an evening dining outdoors. Secondly, when we arrived it was evident that some sort of work must have been done indoors that generated a significant amount of dust. While the kitchen counters had clearly been wiped down, the leather furniture, and all other surfaces like coffee table, end tables, etc were covered in a significant layer of white dust that we had to wipe up before settling in.

Great house for toddlers!

This was a great set up for six adults and two three year-old grandsons. We appreciated being able to cordon them off in separate areas of the house. We spent a lot of time on the deck and yard with the kids and their toys, and also at the lake edge in water shoes (a must-have), collecting (and throwing) rocks. Easy walk/scooter to the park and playground. We ate almost all of our meals at home after a couple of forays to Wegman's in Geneva and multiple farm stand visits (bring cash). Kitchen is well-stocked with pots and pans and dishes (including lots of coffee cups!). We brought pantry items. Would recommend stocking up on cleaning supplies (e.g., Clorox wipes, liquid soap, dishtowels, paper goods). Definitely recommend bringing some kind of sun shade (we brought a tent based on the listing photos which show it's very sunny). This was our first visit to Finger Lakes. We were so impressed with the area, including water sports and biking options and the remarkable friendliness of the neighbors.

We loved staying at this beautiful home on the lake! It was very clean and perfect size for our multiple family members to stay while attending our daughter /granddaughter graduation from Cornell. Very nice property with kayaks, grill, fire pit, and plenty of outdoor seating. Also included life jackets and little latern lights with whistles for kayaking.Be sure to bring extra paper products (paper towels, TP) as they only provide enough for 2 days. Beds are a little too firm for our liking but they may be fine for others.
