It was a beautiful house in a perfect location right on the water. So close to so many wineries.

This was a perfect home for our trip! Clean, well laid-out, and helpful communication hotline. Beautiful location on the lake. Comfortable beds. A few notes on quantities that was helpful for me to know as a guest: 5 Adirondack chairs on the dock, and a picnic table by a fire pit. 6 chairs at the island indoors 3 stools. Note that you should remember to bring your own shampoo/body wash, beach towels, extra garbage bags, cleaning spray, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. 4 parking spots in the driveway.

Perfect weekend getaway

The location right on the lake was fantastic! The house was clean and great for a weekend getaway with friends. It was a quick easy drive to local wineries. Would definitely love to return.

House was in a great location and it was wonderful being right on the lake. However, they definitely need a new cleaning crew. There is more to a house than just the floor, counters and bathrooms. Everywhere you looked (If you looked up) you saw spider webs with bugs in them. The windowsill in the kitchen was filled with dead gnats. Blinds were broken, a few of the stairs inside had cracks in the flooring material. Beds were comfy and it was set up nicely for a group to gather but the cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. It appears it is managed through a realty so I put the blame on them and not necessarily the owner but I'm sure they are paying that realty a pretty penny and they should have better cleaners. Realty also took over 2 weeks to refund the security deposit which is ridiculous. It didn't stop us from having a great time but the cleaning should be addressed.

Girls getsway

Great stay! Beautiful setting & location was good. You pretty much have to drive everywhere you want to go, but that’s the setting of Romulus. (You’ll need a car.) The drive is very pretty! Highly recommend this property and this area!

Girls weekend

Had a great time at a great house and location. Views were spectacular. The house and deck were just right. Will definitely consider returning. Only thing we’d recommend is a screen for deck door.

The PERFECT long weekend

Enjoyed a getaway for a small bachelorette/bachelor celebration. We enjoyed to amazing weather, views, and wine the area had to offer. The set up in the house was super cute! We loved the bar and coffee area! The boat access was huge when we rented a pontoon boat for the day to stop at multiple wineries. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you and kudos to the hosts!!

Great location. Beautiful view. Renovation update was very unique. Kitchen needed a few things. Storage bowls and casserole dishes with lids. But we managed

Family Vacation

Rod and Vine was the perfect place for our family. The location was excellent, house was spotless and very comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the wet bar and coffee station. Morning coffee on the deck or dock was a great way to start the day. Loved being able to use the kayaks and paddleboards, life jackets of all sizes were included. Vicinity to many wonderful wineries was a definite plus. We would definitely rent here again.

Quiet Bach Weekend

We picked this spot to visit some wineries and celebrate my sister getting married, while having a beautiful view of the lake. We had a great time, this home is well stocked with kitchen items, bedding, etc and we had no issues sharing the two full bathrooms between nine ladies. Great options for sleeping as well, generally lots of space. Definitely would come back.
