This outstanding property easily accommodates 10 people in comfort with 4 King Bedrooms (Master has ensuite bathroom) and 2 twin beds in the 5th Bedroom. Two full bathrooms on the 2nd floor with a first floor full bath attached to the master. The kitchen is large and has all the amenities that you will need. The laundry room is perfect to dry your swimclothes and beach towels.
Three window airconditioners assist keeping the home cooler. One in the master, one in upstairs hallway and one in the family room. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan as well as the family room and kitchen.
Enjoy the wrap around second floor deck or relax on the front patio or the huge dock. Take a swim out to the raft or launch your kayak or canoe from the beach. Go skiing or wakeboarding or fishing from your own boat which is easily accommodated on whips on the dock.
Enjoy an evening campfire on the beach or relax in front of the fireplace!
There is ample outdoor space for the kids to run around or throw a ball. The outdoor grilling area is large and there are several picnic tables available to serve large crowds.
There are multiple vineyards to visit within a few miles of the house by car or by boat.
Cornell University and Ithaca College in Ithaca,NY are 17 miles south on route 89 if you are planning a reunion, a graduation or parents weekend. I’m

Lake House for a wedding weekend

We had a wedding nearby and this lake house accommodated 9 of our family so we could be nearby for all of the events. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake with swimming and kayaking and the views were beautiful. The house had plenty of room and a large stocked kitchen. Holly was quick to reply to messages and accommodating. Thank you!

The perfect getaway!

Holly, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! Your family was SO kind and helpful, and always there to answer all of our questions. Great place for family fun

We were able to enjoy all of the water sports that our family wanted, and fishing too. Great quite family spot with quiet evenings sharing around a fire. Close enough to Ithica to take advantage of rainy weather days.

Best Lake House

This lake house suits our family perfectly. We like the great kitchen which is fully supplied, the 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the big dock for fishing and tie up for our 2 jet skis and the nice campfire area. We appreciate the owners allowing us to unload our cars by using their driveway to get closer to the rental house. We found that this is the best house to rent on Cayuga Lake!

Wine country vacation

We had a wonderful time staying with family in this lake house. We spent our time on the dock, floating in the lake and kayaking. Even with all of this, we still had time to hit the wine trails, discover great places to eat and enjoy great music at the Cider House. The owners were very pleasant and eager to answer all of our questions.

Girls weekend

Beautiful place to spend our 60th celebration! Everything that we needed and would love to try it again when we can get in the water! Had a bit of a hard time finding the house but was part of our adventure!

Great house and location

Beautiful home with awsome view!

Having 5 bedrooms was a plus. Everything was very clean and updated. The only downfall was the steps but i knew about it before I booked reservation.

Weekend away

10 of us were in town for a wedding and stayed here. Everybody loved the place, location was great. It was conveniently located near several wineries, breweries, and hiking spots.

Fantastic location right on the lake!

This VRBO rental was one of our best yet. Even though we were only there for a few hour each day because of wedding plans, we fully enjoyed the location and tranquility of the lake. The house was huge! While my wife and I stayed in the first floor bedroom with our own bathroom, there were four additional bedrooms as well as two additional bathrooms upstairs. While the long dirt road from the main road to the parking spot at the top of the long stair case down to the house was challenging without a high clearance, it was all part of the charm. Though only a short stay, we truly felt we were on vacation. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Had a super relaxing weekend

We absolutely loved the property! We enjoyed the nearby attractions and then coming to a nice, comfortable home. We especially enjoyed waking up early and watching the sunrise... would definitely stay here again.

Worked well for our family

The house and property were a great fit for our family with our range in ages. location to grocery store was really good. water was plenty deep for boats and yet had a beach for little ones to walk out.

Wonderful family get away

Holly – thank you so much for sharing your wonderful lakefront home with our family! We had a spectacular time. The large dock was literally always occupied either by someone reading a book, fishing, sunbathing, or sitting with a glass of wine enjoying the view! The boat lift worked great – renting a boat was such a bonus. The water was warm for waterskiing and tubing. Everything about the house itself was perfect – clean, well appointed, beyond fully stocked – down to parchment paper to bake our cookies!! With 4 of the upstairs bedrooms facing the lake with a balcony deck, everyone was decidedly pleased with the arrangement. The firepit area was well supplied with chairs. The kayaks and canoe were fun to take out as well. The wineries/breweries in the area were great. Watkins Glen & Taughannock Falls hikes were among the highlights of the week. Muranda Cheese Company, Finger Lakes Cider House were memorable outings. There was a cute farm stand down the road which kept us well supplied with corn & blueberries. Overall, great family trip. We all hope to be back next year. Holly was a great hostess. She answered all questions and was very responsive to a midweek issue that arose. Overall, I would recommend this rental to anyone who wants to fully enjoy the Cayuga Lake experience!!

Love this house!

This is our 3rd year renting this house. We love the location of being right on the water. The grand kids love fishing off the dock and swimming in the lake. We take 2 jet skis with us and use them daily. We like that the marina for gas is right across the lake. The house is a perfect size for 6 adults and 5 children. The king beds are comfortable and the recently updated bathrooms were very nice. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals and the eating table has a great view of the lake. We love to eat smores around the campfire and the kids like to skip stones on the shoreline. We have already reserved this great house for next summer.

Wonderful grad weekend

We had family coming in from different places for graduation, and this home provided a fabulous resting place for all. Bedrooms and bathrooms were terrific - even nicer than the pictures !, bathrooms had clearly been renovated and were great for our large crowd of 8. Kitchen was stocked with every type of cooking need ( and we did a lot), and beautiful like setting - seen from every window - was stunning and tranquil. We had a terrific time!,

Amazing Property

Our stay was incredible. The house was very clean and welcoming, and definitely more beautiful than the pictures showed. The host was very accessible and responsive to questions. I will definitely be staying here again.

Clean and spacious with an amazing view.

Had a great weekend here with 9 of my friends. We had a couples getaway for the weekend and enjoyed the wineries and staying in the house at night playing board games. Overall it was an excellent trip and I recommend this booking to anyone. The only problem is that the house has no direct access and it’s about 70 steps down the bank to get to it. Was a little tricky with all of our luggage.

A wonderful retreat

Sorry for the late reply -- it has been a horrifically busy Fall! My lab group once again had a wonderful time. About half the group had not stayed in the house before, and all fell in love with the beauty of the place. We had a great time talking about research projects, and also kicking back and having fun on the lake. best, Andy PS - The toilet in the downstairs bathroom did back up, and we went at it with a plunger, but I don't think we fully resolved the problem. I apologize if this problem persisted to the next renter -- I should have left a note.... At least we remembered in time that waste and recycling gets taken up to the cans at the highway.

Wedding Weekend

Property was the perfect size for our group and was close to the functions we were attending. It was a beautiful setting by the lake, unfortunately, we were only there for a short time so were unable to take full advantage. The property was well equipped with everything we needed and the owner was very accommodating.

Enjoyed our stay

Really nice place, clean and has everything you need! Weekend getaway with friends. So much to do in the area that we'll ned to come back because we couldn't get it all in! Great communication with owner and we appreciated using the next door driveway to unload our kayaks and bags.

We have been on Holton Beach for the last 50 years. We love the lake because we sail, kayak and canoe. The lake is generally quiet (not alot of motor boat traffic)

Ithaca and the parks are 15-20 minutes from our cottage. There are many wineries, distilleries and cider mills in the areas. At the top of our road is the Cayuga Creamery which makes the best homemade ice cream in New York State.
