This is a most charming , Well appointed cottage. Excellent location You can walk to the lake, to the various theatres, restaurants. Penny met us and explained , keys etc.. Communicating with her is extremely easyI highly recommend..

We have stayed here at least 4 times and we love the cottage! It is a short walk to the center of town, the theaters, the lake, restaurants. Despite its proximity to town it is a quiet retreat. The host is very pleasant and easy to work with. We will return again.

What a lovely place in a beautiful location so close to the many great experiences Niagara on the Lake has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in celebrating our Nephews wedding. The breakfast overlooking the water at the Golf Club is highly recommended along with a performance at the Shaw Theatre. Penny our host was so welcoming and a lovely person. We were sad to leave and will be definitely looking to return soon.

Excellent location. Lovely, cozy little house near theatres and shops, but in quieter section. Great for two; a bit tight for four. Sun porch is nice place to relax.

A Niagara on the lake gem!

The owners are wonderful! And the house is absolutely perfect for a getaway. The location can’t be better to access shops and restaurants.

The Shaw Cottage was clean, cozy, and charming. Its location is perfect in relation to walking to the parks, the Shaw Festival Theatre, and Queen Street shopping and dining. (Wineries too are just a very short drive away.) Penny and Jeff were thoughtful and generous hosts, and my stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake was made even more special by their warm hospitality.

We love this house! It is the third time we've stayed and it never disappoints. The house is immaculate. The owners very responsive and friendly. We can walk everywhere in town so no need to wrestle with parking. We will stay again next year.

This is a perfect cottage for one or two adults, especially if you enjoy live drama productions, shopping, flowers, and just kicking back and relaxing. My husband and I spent four days and nights here visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake, and surprisingly we didn't even need to use our car once. We just parked at the cottage for free and then walked easily to shows at all 3 of the Shaw Festival theatres. We also walked to a wide variety of restaurants for lunch and dinner, and enjoyed browsing in the shops up and down Queen Street and side streets. The cottage is only a block and a half from a small beach on the outlet of the Niagara River where we loved the view and lovely breeze. The cottage is spotlessly clean and had many nice details to add to our visit. Loads of fluffy towels. I loved sitting and reading in the front sunroom and eating breakfast out back in the private yard in the Adirondack chairs. There were even tiny, battery-powered fairy lights that came on automatically in both spaces at dusk.

Lovely!

Beautiful, cozy place. Perfect for our anniversary weekend. The lake is visible/quite walkable from it and downtown NOTL just a couple short blocks walk away. The cottage had everything we needed and check in and check out were easy!

Cute cottage at a great location

2 nights spent a a very clean, quiet and comfortable cottage with a lovely garden and ample space in the private backyard to relax and enjoy the outdoors all within a short walking distance to the heart of the action "downtown".....parks, shopping, dining and the lake. Enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Jeff and Penny

Location, location, location! You can’t get better than this. A very cozy little cottage with attention to detail and decor. Very comfortable and we can’t wait to return.

Lovely and luxurious

We have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals and this one was the cleanest we have ever stayed in! Even the backyard furniture was spotless during pollen season. Also the beds really were the most comfy. Washing my face was like a trip to the spa, using the most luxurious face cloth I have ever experienced. Would not hesitate to stay here again, great hosts!
