We were, unfortunately, unable to enjoy river activities this trip due to flooding & weather. Chris was an exceptional host. Clear communication, help & accommodating to circumstances. Always happy with this beautiful place.

This was our 4th year to stay at The Frio House. The hosts are very responsive and we enjoyed our stay. The property is perfect for our needs. We have three families. There are three separate sleeping areas, each with a bathroom. The steps down to the river are no problem for us but could be a problem for someone with mobility issues. However, we feel safer being on a bluff, high above the river, in case of a flash flood. Nice and quiet place for a family vacation!

Wonderful place to stay

My 2nd time staying here and it’s was amazing again with that perfect view from the balcony.The house was perfect for everyone .We can’t wait to stay again new year

Great location. Something for everyone on this spot of the river. Bigs enjoyed the rope swing and the littlest enjoyed the shallows.

Second time at this beautiful river front property. Lots of room for privacy for groups. Main home has wonderful view and an excellent gathering place for meals, games and overall family/ group time. Will be back!

Great place for the whole family.

Great place to make new memories for the entire family. This was our second visit to the Frio house and enjoyed every minute of the serene environment.

Great place

The Frio House is a great place for families with small children to stay on the Frio. It’s very peaceful there and the river has shallow and deep places for all age kids. The house has three separate areas with bathrooms. It’s perfect for our group of three families.

Perfect for families!

Beautiful spot on the river, very private and deep water. House with 2 additional sleeping cabins with baths was an awesome set up for families. Really enjoyed our stay and plan to return next year.

Great get away.

Had a wonderful time. View was beautful and location was nice. Enjoyed the river and fishing..I would definetly recommend it to friends and family..

Beautiful spot on the Frio

We had a wonderful long weekend at this house! Great space to be together or find a little privacy. The riverfront and water access was perfect.

Family fun on the Frio

The Frio House is a great place for a family to stay to enjoy the Frio River. With 3 separate sleeping areas, each with a bath it was perfect for our family. The owners are very nice and helpful too! We enjoyed our stay!

Heaven on the Frio

We had such a wonderful time staying at The Frio House. The river was absolutely gorgeous, the house, bunk house and cabin were so nice and clean, well equipped and with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay so much we will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful place to make families memories!!
