This property was absolute perfect for our anniversary celebration. We had a beautiful walk to the beach - quite the hike back up - and the views were nothing short of spectacular.We can’t wait to come back again!

A short two night stay at Glacierview. Very cozy accommodations with an amazing view of Kachemak Bay and the glaciers. Host was very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and visit to Homer.

We loved staying at Glacier View! Being surrounded by nature with sweeping views of Kachemak Bay was so wonderful! We also loved the sandhill cranes and the moose that feasted on the meadows surrounding the cabin.

Catkin is great! This was our second time staying at this cabin. Such a nice property and quiet area of town. Our stay was very peaceful!

Catkin and Tom were beyond welcoming. We stayed at a couple of other places while visiting Alaska, and upon arriving at Glacier View, my husband said, “wow, you saved the best for last”!. We felt very comfortable and right at home.

Such a cozy cabin and beautiful property. The views from the deck are amazing. We had moose bed down in the pasture below the cabin. I can't compliment this place enough. Our host was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

This is a lovely spot. You really feel like you have gone back in time and homesteaded in Alaska. I loved learning more about this resilient family who still love and care for the property their parents started so many years ago. Thank you for the stay (and the tow). I hope to have the opportunity to visit again!

Beautiful Cabin!

Our family loved staying here. The view is amazing, the cabin has everything you need, and Catkin was absolutely wonderful to work with. We hope to be back!

Beautiful location. Everything great. There were Kleenex and paper towels. Washer and dryer inside the Glacier View cabin- very handy. Good sized closets and pantry. Just to avoid any disappointment- the MBR has no window coverings if you are light sensitive. Steps to upstairs are steep if you have mobility issues. Otherwise, it has everything you need and some lovely walks on the property.

Great Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Kilcher family were very nice and accommodating. If we come back to Alaska we will definitely stay here again. The views were unbelievable.

Incredible place to stay!

This was our second time staying at Glacier View cabin. The cabin, the view and everything thing about the Homestead is incredible. Catkin is a fantastic host. Highly recommend Glacier View?

Stunning views from the cabin. We enjoyed drinking coffee and watching the sunrise over the mountains each morning from the large deck. Catkin is friendly and engaging when needed.
