It was a great place....if you had kids they would love it...us adults loved it too...the caboose we stayed in was just like a house inside...lots to see and do there..very clean inside and hosts would do anything for you to make sure your stay was enjoyable

What a unique experience. Not only was the stay in a caboose all it was hyped up to be, the location was wonderful. Quick access to cute animals like goats, bunnies, pigeons and tiny horses not to mention the bison farm. Right next door is a wonderful little shop and game room

This was an amazing venue for our 3 year old. The only downside was telling her we eventually had to go back home.

Great stay for families

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the train car and the access to the animals on the property. Fun for the whole family!

Such a fun and unique place to stay in the mountains! The owners were so accommodating and welcoming. We enjoyed watching the bison and other animals, playing air hockey, and exploring the ranch.

We had so much fun surprising our kids (toddlers) with staying overnight in a caboose on a bison farm! We definitely would like to come back with more family.

The caboose was a hit with my kids. It was clean and neat uoon arrival. The animals were the best part. Can't wait to come back.

This caboose stay was perfect for my train lover. We traveled as a family and there was something for all of us to enjoy. We got to feed theini horses, talked to the other barn animals, watched llamas, hiked to the playground, and admired the cabooses they had. The owner communicated with us frequently and was very friendly. The game room and store were perfect additions for us to enjoy. It was so fun waking up to seeing the bison grazing and playing in the field from our beds. We had so much fun!

Great area

Quiet and folks are very friendly. Great view of the Bison from the Caboose. Took lots of pictures of Elk at Cataloochee valley.

Caboose stay

We so loved our stay and the kids especially loved all the animals around to see and pet! The host was great and we were able to get buffalo steaks and eggs from there night there on the property for our meals! Will definitely come back!

Great location quiet space

This a is a really unique and cozy place to stay. The location is super beautiful and extremely quiet. And who knew there would be alpacas, a mini horse, a mini donkey, goats, chickens, a turkey and the friendliest rabbits I've ever met? It was perfect for my husband and me and our teen son.

Super cool

We stayed one night prior to dropping daughter off to a nearby summer camp. Loved the property and the caboose was perfect for the two of us! Haywood cafe down the street has the best coconut cream pie!

Amazing Bison Ranch

This was an incredible experience. The caboose was clean and everyone was very friendly. The animals were the best part of the experience. I recommend helping as much as possible with feeding the animals and really immersing yourself in the experience.
