Great location to enjoy the water. Kitchen was well equipped as well as beach toys for the kids. Great kayaks and water fun. We never left the house ! The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. We hope to return.

Excellent location. My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the house. Lovely neighborhood. The garage even had outdoor toys such as a pail and shovel which my kid really enjoyed.

Wonderful location (very close to downtown Niantic); clean, bright, beautiful home; well appointed kitchen overall; loved gate at top of stairs, rail for bottom bunk and high chair since I have a toddler; owner was very responsive, kind and helpful when needed. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

Beautiful home in a picturesque setting, secluded and perfect for quality time with family. Great set up for cooking whether in kitchen or on the grill. Beach toys, kayaks, and shallow, calm water makes this an ideal stay for young kids.

Clean, comfortable house, well stocked with kitchen utensils, books and games, gorgeous views, lovely deck and kayaks, too. Plus the owner was the most communicative I’ve ever met, going as far as to provide a digital guidebook and prompt responses to my questions. Overall it was a fantastic stay. The only thing I didn’t realize was that there is a permanent renter who lives on one side of the first floor. We never even knew they were there until we saw them but it would have been nice to know we were sharing the house.

This was the perfect spot for a wonderful getaway with friends! The location is absolutely beautiful, right on the water with ever changing tides and views. Lovely house with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The house was in pristine condition and very comfortable.There are beach chairs, kayaks and a beach umbrella. Our favorite thing was bird watching from the deck. I highly recommend getting the Merlin app to identify the bird song. At any point in time you could hear up to 10 or 12different bird species. It was extremely windy our first day and the umbrella that was attached to the deck started to come loose. Garon was there within 15 minutes with drill in hand to take care of the problem. I highly recommend this lovely home!

Incredible Stay

The house was perfect for our family of four on a vacation back in my hometown. Couldn’t find a better location. Garon was such an accommodating host, everything was super easy. 10/10 and hope to be back again next summer.

Beautiful house and location!

We had the best time! The house was great and the little bay was wonderful for exploring and swimming. Our kids spent every day splashing and trying to catch stuff with their nets. The area is so nice and peaceful. The host was very friendly and responsive.

Mother/Daughter weekend

We loved the home and location. It was the perfect place to hunker down for the weekend. The gas fireplace made our stay warm and cozy. The views of the water and wildlife were relaxing as we had our mother/daughter time together.

Trip to visit family in Connecticut

Very nice and comfortable stay. Easy walk to Pleasant Beach and boat launch. The kids had a blast getting blue crabs right off the back of the property. We all loved sitting on the back deck having our morning cup of coffee.

Great spot at Pleasure Beach

Great patio! Loved having easy water access with short walk to beach. We tend to cook more and eat in than some vacationers and the kitchen was well-equipped. We especially enjoyed walking out in low tide and swimming in the little cove. The real beach was a short walk for lovely sand and clearer water. The host was available and answered questions promptly. A great location, close to Niantic and to Waterford.

Offset from this property is a public beach access known as kiddie beach. This area is a great place to fish for striped bass and shellfishing. A three-minute walk from the house is a small grocery store where you can pick up great sandwiches last minute items, and shellfishing permits from Jordan Cove. There are seasonal fireworks along with seasonal festivals in neighboring Niantic and New London. There is a public access boat launch approximately 500 yards away.
