Amazing character property in the heart of walking distance to everything. We stayed here as it was 2 blocks from where my husband grew up summering. This is a gem of a location with the little known bay beach on one side, access to the ocean on the other side, the marina, Howard’s, and many restaurants including good old WAWA all within walking distance. The house is plenty big, clean, comfortable, well furnished and the host was amazing. Perfect house for a family, There’s plenty of bedrooms, extra spaces and it’s DOG FRIENDLY. We were a family of 6 adults and one small dog. Amazing. Thank you so much for this opportunity to get into a classic, character LBI beach house near everything.

GREAT place for families

We had a wonderful off-season visit in mid-September. The house is a 4-minute drive from Uncle Will’s and Chicken or the Egg, and we enjoyed the short walks to the ocean and the bay every day. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, glassware, and dish ware. The mosquitoes on the property were rather troublesome, so we didn’t use the outdoor space except the showers. The layout of the house is a little quirky, but it worked for our party. It *is* a beach house so, not surprisingly, we found sand in odd places (e.g. under couch cushions), but it felt clean enough for us. Overall, we would gladly book this property again!

Nice stay!

My family and I stayed here for a week. Bill was a great host, easy to reach and communicative! Location was great - short walk to bay and beach. Central location to restaurants/market/bars. Thanks!!

A great vacation!

House was comfortable, with some nice upgrades - especially the outdoor shower! Location is nice - walk to the bay for sunset and fresh donuts on the corner. Beach not too far, either. We enjoyed our week!

Great big house in a great part of town.

My family and I, including our dog, spent a great week in this beautiful, big, old fashioned house. There was plenty of space for my family and our guests, which all together made ten of us at one point. Bill the owner was friendly and attentive to the property and our needs. The house is in a really nice part of the island with restaurants, Wawa, ice cream parlor, liquor store and a bakery all within a few blocks. Bay Village and Fantasy Island Amusement park are about a three minute drive. My son and his friends would ride their skateboards to and from town every day. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location!

We had a lovely week staying at this quaint beach home. The location was perfect for us - situated on the Bay side where we can easily walk down the block and watch the unbelievable sunsets. Yet close enough to the Ocean where we can still walk and not worry about parking. We enjoy walking so for us 3 blocks is close to the beach. We liked being able to walk to restaurants, the donut shop and Wawa. My son was able to ride his bike around town meeting friends who were staying in other LBI houses and together they would ride to nearby places like Bay Village. We were able to bring our small dog and she was able to freely go out the back patio which was enclosed. My husband claimed the porch area for his office - he had some work to do and was able to get privacy in that area. The house itself was very spacious making it great for large families. The house had all the amenities needed for a beach home. Bill, the owner was very helpful and greeted us when we arrived. We would definitely rent this house again!

Great basic beach house

Lots of space and beds for the very reasonable price, convenient to Beach Haven, Fantasy Island, etc., nice beach on both ocean and bay sides, owner is helpful and responsive, everything worked, amenities (AC, cable, washer/dryer, dishwasher, grill, outdoor showers) are good, and we loved the side sun room. Worked perfectly for get togethers with extended family and visitors. Minor issues are distance to ocean beach (although there is light to cross Long Beach Blvd) and kitchen and baths could use updating. Would definitely come again and recommend to others.
