We had an amazing stay. The gardens and pool area are exceptional. Daniel was an amazing host. Easy to communicate with, all instructions for arrival sent in advance. Any issues were resolved instantly. The location is accurately described. Took us about 10 minutes to walk to supermarket and 20 minutes to harbour (that’s even pushing a wheelchair). There are a couple of stairs into the villa but managed to get wheelchair up them. Would highly recommend a stay at Las Rosas.

This was a perfect quiet and green oasis in a very hot Mallorca. We totally appreciated the well maintained deep pool and colourful garden. So pleased we hired three a/c units to help reduce the heat in the bedrooms sadly had to keep the windows open for the exhaust pipes. Fabulous location with just a few minutes walk down the lane to the nearest supermarket with in-house bakery. We did hire a car but we could have managed without one. Daniel was the perfect host.

What a beautiful house to spend the summer in. Great value for money and being so close to Port Pollenca meant we could walk with the children. The pool was incredible - probably our favourite villa we have stayed in over the years. Kids loved playing in the garden and the peace and quiet in the evening meant we were properly relaxed. Daniel was a top host and very thoughtful and helpful. Spacious and very clean rooms inside the house - the photos really dont do it justice. A true hidden gem. Restaurant 31 and Portofino were our favourite meals out. A trip to Pollenca old town was well worth it and we ate in Cantonet which deserves a mention too. We loved Bony Bar in the evenings for a few drinks during Happy hour and was grateful to be able to take a taxi by the church home when slightly worse for wear for around 10 euros. La Bicicleta Sports Bar is a great place if you need to watch any live sport. We can't wait to come back next year!

Wonderful long weekend

We had a lovely time at Las Rosas. Location is walking distance to town so we didn’t need a car. Gorgeous property and cool rooftop terrace as well. Was great for a long Easter weekend with friends.

Great place! Lots of space and beautiful garden!

We had a lovely stay at Las Rosas. We were only two but the villa has more than enough space for a full family. The garden is beautiful with its pool and BBQ. It's also very well located just a few minutes away from Port de Pollenca town and surrounded by mountains.

We absolutely loved our stay at Las Rosas. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the peace and beauty of this wonderful Mallorcan finca. The gardens are simply stunning, with beautiful views towards the Tramuntana mountains. Sitting out under the terrace late at night watching the sun go down was so peaceful!The pool is truly exceptional — huge, beautifully maintained and perfect for both relaxing and swimming. We spent most of our time outdoors, enjoying lazy lunches, long afternoons by the pool and wonderful evenings dining under the stars.The villa itself has everything you could wish for, with comfortable bedrooms, spacious living areas and a lovely separate guest suite that the grandparents occupied. The guest suite is perfect for the grandparents and gave them some space too. Amenities in the kitchen was first class too.The location is also fantastic. It feels completely private and peaceful, surrounded by countryside, but at the same time a lovely short walk to Port Pollenca. We would walk into the Port most nights to eat. Pollenca and some beautiful beaches are only a short drive away. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk into town for dinner. Las Rosas is somewhere you can genuinely switch off and relax. Beautiful, peaceful, private and full of authentic Mallorcan charm. We would happily return and would highly recommend it to anyone.Best Bits: The pool and gardens - total paradise. The guest house for the grandparents and the safe garden.

La Rosas is a lovely property with fantastic gardens and a huge pool. It clearly states that it is not air conditioned and the fans are good; however, in mid July they weren’t enough to cope with the very high humidity and temperatures overnight. The tap water at the property is not drinkable. This isn’t clear from the description and having arrived at midnight on an incredibly hot night, we had no water until the shops opened at 9am. We have suggested the host puts water in the fridge for guests in future.Bedlinen is only changed mid-stay if you are staying for 2 weeks. We stayed for 10 days and changed the linen ourselves as it wouldn’t have been done otherwise. Something to be aware of for mid-summer stays. But the location is excellent being walkable into the town for dinner, the gardens are beautiful, and Daniel is very responsive. We would absolutely recommend the villa but perhaps not in the hottest months of the year!

Thank you for your thoughtful review. I’m delighted you enjoyed your stay at Las Rosas. I’m sorry the exceptional July 'Heat Wave' temperatures made the nights less comfortable than usual. There is a welcome pack at the house which lists all the essential arrival information, including details about the tap water. I had also provided water in the main fridge for your arrival, although I’m sorry this wasn’t noticed. Given the unusually hot weather, Victoria was happy to offer a mid-stay clean, although I understand you chose to manage the linen yourselves. Thank you again for recommending Las Rosas. Absolutely exceptional in Puerta Pollensa, Mallorca

This was the best vacation we have ever taken. The house is clean and well appointed - has everything you need. The grounds and pool are stunning and impeccably maintained. The location is private but so close to beaches, markets, town and cycling routes. The views are amazing. The island offers everything from pristine beaches to steep rocky mountains to ancient medieval towns to busy modern ports and cities. Daniel is a wonderful, helpful host. We had a lovely time and can't wait to go back again!

Beautiful Las Rosas with gorgeous gardens and pool

We had a great holiday here! The villa is in a quiet area with a gorgeous view of the mountain behind. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, the pool is a great size and the villa is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped if you fancy eating in and the town is only a short walk away. We did hire a car and I would recommend one if you want to explore the island. There is a lot to see and do and Mallorca is very beautiful. Daniel is very helpful if you have any questions before you go and he will make sure that you are happy. We are definitely staying here again! You won't regret booking Las Rosas!

Beautiful view, awesome pool and great location near Pollensa.

We've just returned from a fantastic week in Majorca and we're so glad we chose to stay in Daniel's villa. The highlight of our stay was certainly the garden with mountain views and awesome pool - we spent hours swimming and relaxing! The villa is a great size and fully equipped. It's a little rustic, but this adds to the charm. No air con, but there are multiple fans which helped during our stay (35-37 degrees!) and obviously the pool is a great place to stay cool! The location is great - 7 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, slightly over 15 mins walk to Pollensa Marina. less than 10 mins drive to Pollensa old town, and 20 mins drive to Alcudia old town. Daniel was very helpful, with great communication throughout. We would certainly recommend this villa to anyone - it's great value for money particularly given the enormous private pool and gardens and locality to Puerto Pollensa.

Beautiful villa, stunning gardens!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Las Rosas. The villa is very pretty, well furnished and has a real authentic feel. The kitchen is well stocked and I enjoyed cooking there on many nights... when you are in such a beautiful setting, eating in is as much of a treat as eating out! The garden at Las Rosas is truly something very special.. beautiful trees and plants in abundance, lovely potted plants adorn the pool area making it even prettier than it already is! Fresh pears from the many trees, and some lovely fresh grapes from the vine, were such a nice treat! From start to finish, Daniel was a perfect host and we are grateful to him for our wonderful family holiday this year. Many thanks also to Victoria, a very lovely lady who on our last day gave us a lift with our cases into the Port. Can’t recommend highly enough! 5 stars all round! X

Lovely and relaxing stay in a rural house

My friends and I visited Mallorca from Madrid and wanted to stay somewhere outside the city. We loved our stay here overall, and the house was a great price for how large and beautiful it was. The reason I am giving four instead of five stars is due a couple issues. There was some miscommunication with the host regarding a cleaning fee. We were okay with paying the cleaning fee but it was not made clear at the time of booking that there would be one, and this cleaning fee was paid directly to the host rather than through the VRBO site. I would suggest somehow changing this so that the fee is paid through the site at the time of booking and that it is more clear that there is a fee. Secondly, we had issues with the heating at the house in the detached guest house. After some tinkering, we were able to get the heating on, but those of us who were staying in the guest house spent our first night sleeping on the floor of the main house because the guest house was so cold. The second night, the guesthouse was much warmer after our problem-solving. Despite these issues, I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful stay in the countryside of Mallorca! Its size made it especially perfect for a group like ourselves. Thank you, Daniel, for having us in your home.

Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend und hat klasse den Kontakt gehalten. Leider mussten wir bei der Anreise erstmal 2 Stunden die Aussenmöbel putzen und auch die Küche war nicht sehr sauber und jedes Teil musste vor einer Benutzung erstmal gewaschen werden. Die Fahrräder waren total durchgerostet und nicht zu gebrauchen. Auch das Mobiliar-innen sowie außen- war sehr in die Jahre gekommen und müsste mal erneuert/ modernisiert werden. Insgesamt hat das Haus eine sehr schöne Außenanlagen mit Pool und Garten, innen und von der Ausstattung müsste aber mal was gemacht werden, um den Preis zu rechtfertigen! Aber wie gesagt: Daniel als Gastgeber hat sich aus der Ferne wirklich gut gekümmert und immer mal wieder gefragt!

Sehr schöne Finka

Die Finka ist ruhig gelegen und trotzdem ist man Fuß läufig in ca. 10min im Ort. Der Pool und Garten ist sehr schön. Daniel ist ein super Gastgeber und immer sehr hilfsbereit.

Traumhaft herrliche Lage

Wer Mallorca im Winter kennt , weiß dass mit Schimmel an den Wänden zu rechnen ist. Das wunderschöne Grundstück ist sehr gepflegt . Die Lage ist traumhaft schön. Der Vermieter ist immer ansprechbar. Wir hatten einen super Urlaub auf las Rosas.

Wonderful holiday retreat

We had a lovely time here. Grandmother, grandfather, daughter and son in law and children 11 and twins 4. The accommodation was lovely, well equipped and very comfortable. The pool was a bit deep for the little ones but we knew that when we booked so we had their flotation vest. We would definitely come again,

Fantastic garden, pool and location

We returned to Las Rosas after 15 years, and really enjoyed it once again. We especially liked the pool and garden, along with the quiet location which was only 15 minutes walk from the town. Suggestions about the use of mosquito deterrent appliances should be heeded. The host, Daniel, is very helpful.

Amazing

We loved hanging out by the pool enjoying the sun. Really nice villa, the owner was great with communications and helped us massively. The property is about 15mins walk to the beach, 5mins to the supermarket. Will def stay again

Adult family holiday in Las Rosas

Daniel is an excellent host. Good pre holiday information regarding finding the villa and check in process. Good location (20 walk to Pinewalk bars etc). Beautiful pool, warm in the July heatwave and lovely to cool off in. It’s deep! Beware if you have young children or poor swimmers. Beautifully maintained and spacious gardens, plenty of garden furniture. Excellent and varied kitchen equipment. Many thanks Daniel.
