This beautiful spacious modern/boutique first-floor apartment nestled in Dalgety Bay 30 minutes from Edinburgh's city centre and on the Stunning Fife coastal route. Perfect get away from the city, yet easy enough to commute to Edinburgh or explore the many beautiful Fife villages. The apartment has been recently renovated, spacious with open plan kitchen/living area, 2 double bedrooms and private parking.

I cannot say enough about this place. It was PERFECT. Every part of this place is thoughtfully planned out. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was spotless with a nice tub to soak in and they had some snacks for us when we got there! There is a very short walk to the most beautiful views across the water. Julie was very quick to respond to messages. I wish we stayed longer sand would definitely come back!

Lovely apartment in a very nice area. Julie was a pleasure to deal with from the start & made the whole process easy, from responding to any queries immediately to suggesting restaurants, bars etc in the vicinity.We’ll look to stay again any time we’re in the area & would recommend the property to all.

Lovely apartment, arrived to some goodies which is always a nice touch. Easy to check in & the host Jules gave us all the information we would need. Would definitely stay again & highly recommend

Lovely apartment for our first night in Scotland. We had everything that we needed and enjoyed the snacks that welcomed us! We couldn't have asked for anything else, besides maybe staying a few more nights! Highly recommend and will stay with again!

Great Stay

It was great staying here. The fresh flowers and the basket of goodies were a great welcome. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

Julie was a great host, very quick to answer questions, all instructions were perfect. We had a lovely 2 nights stay, the apartment was clean, tidy, great location for our visit Would definitely recommend. Great basket of treats too, they went down very well. Thank you

Family Vacation

Julie was amazing, quickly responsive, friendly, flat is beautiful has everything you need in a safe location roughly 30-35mins to Edinburgh. Would recommend Julie’s place to everyone!!

Great Stay by the Bay

We would have loved to stay longer, but still really enjoyed our one night. The spot gave us easy access to both Edinburgh and Dunfermline and it was great to spend some time birdwatching down at the water’s edge with Oystercatchers, Eiders and a Curlew! The welcome basket was greatly appreciated!

Fife Coastal Path

We used this property while walking the Fife Coastal Path (FCP) and it was perfect for our needs - lovely flat, good parking, and great location - right on the FCP.

Snug little hideaway

Very cosy accommodation with everything you need. Julie is so helpful and her welcome pack was 5*! Thank you for introducing us to a lovely new organic coffee, which we enjoyed every day. The apartment is ideally located for days out in any direction and perfect for visiting our family in Largo.

Excellent base to explore Edinburgh and surrounding area

The property was really clean and tidy, comfortable and well stocked. It was lovely to go somewhere where all the small details had been thought through. So many times we have been away and things like bottle openers or a grater are missing. Was super chuffed that necessities had been provided as coming straight after Xmas we were going to forget something.....which we did and there it was some shampoo and conditioner and a hair dryer. Thoughtful welcome hamper with some lovely goodies. Would highly recommend. The one thing we would change is the door on second bedroom. The frosted glass is fine for a family of small children but we were away with my 23 year old son and if he had brought his girlfriend it wouldn't have been okay.

Great location with important details missing

Initially the owner was very engaged, allowed us in slightly early. Very clean upon first impression. Said it was on the main (first floor) which we assumed meant little to no steps - apparently in Scotland this means the second floor - had to lug heavy luggage up a big set of steps. Wish this would have been disclosed in the description. Apartment life gets busy very early in the morning - neighbors are loud - doors banging. No fans to drown out the noise. My biggest complaint is two out of three days we had no hot water. The water situation should be disclosed in the description - you get 2 "medium" showers and then it takes 3 hours to reheat. First day after our cold showers the owner found the heater had "tripped". It worked the next day and then last day no hot water again. Emailed the owner after leaving as we needed to travel to next destination and have not heard a word back from her which is disappointing. Beds have no box springs and are very squeaky - every move wakes you up. Overall, great location - close to train station, grocery stores and a couple of decent restaurants. I just wish the owner would be honest surrounding the hot water situation. Next VRBO was in the country and had on demand hot water and you could count on hot water anytime and for however long you need so I don't necessarily think the situation here is a Scotland thing.

L’appartement est bien Situé tout près de l’eau. Il y a une petite plage seulement a quelques min de marche de l’appartement parfait pour une petit balade matinale avec une belle vue sur le forth bridge
