Hope & Anchor - Broken Bow/ Hochatown - 3bd
So Close and Yet So Far! Hope & Anchor cabin certainly brings a fresh look to that old saying. Completed in the Fall of 2022, Hope & Anchor is part of a new upscale cabin neighborhood located just 9 short miles north of the Hochatown community. Surrounded by mature towering pine trees, the cabin sits far enough away from all the central vacation resort areas to allow our guests to enjoy that “Got Away From It All” feel. And man doesn’t that feel great! Hope & Anchor offers a level landscaped lot with lots of open space for kids to run and play, along with a set of corn hole boards for some afternoon family tournaments. Spend your evenings gathered around the fire pit swapping old stories and creating a few new ones. Of course, with the porch swing and 2 web swings, you are likely to find the kids – and the kids at heart – hanging out there all day long. Step up onto the large covered deck for long evenings with good friends. Tons of space and seating options makes it easy to find a spot for your morning coffee, outdoor meals, movie night in front of the gas fireplace, or of course relaxing in the hot tub. If grilling is your claim to fame, then we have you covered with a gas grill - all you need to bring is the meats and the attitude.
I’m sure you will want to go INSIDE of Hope & Anchor at some point – and why wouldn’t you? You will enjoy the spacious open living area with it’s cathedral ceiling and soaring windows. The roomy ready-to-cook kitchen comes stocked with all the cookware, utensils, and dinnerware you will need for most regular family meals. And plenty of counter space makes meal prep an easy assignment. If you are lucky enough to be the cook for the evening, don’t worry about being left out of the family fun. The open living concept means you get to stay involved in all the family fun. The gas fireplace and TV make for great, cozy evenings. For a little more fun you can move up to the open loft to enjoy a smaller living area with it’s own TV, small snack table, and a shuffleboard table. Of course, there is free WIFI if you need to jump online for work or school or games or updating your social media pages. When it comes time for lights out – Hope & Anchor has a master bedroom and a guest bedroom downstairs with king beds and TVs as well as another master bedroom upstairs with a queen bed and twin over twin bunk bed. All TVs are smart TVs and ready to stream your favorite shows. The downstairs hall bathroom and the convenient half bathroom in the loft gives the cabin a total of 3 ½ bathrooms – that should be enough room for everyone to get ready to head out for the evening.
Despite Hope & Anchor’s beautiful lost in the woods feel it is only a short drive to most area attractions and activities. Get ready to love the “so close” benefits of this property. Looking for an afternoon shopping trip? How about grabbing sandwiches or a pizza or a steak dinner with live music? Ready to play a round of golf? Who wants to go kayaking, or ziplining, or hiking or swimming, or trout fishing or…. well, you get the idea. All of that and more is within minutes of Hope & Anchor. Whether you are looking for a long Sunday drive to catch fall scenery or spending hours on the water you are sure to find several options close by. There is no shortage of dining options to choose from. Hochatown offers a little bit of everything; food trucks, diners, casual dinners, or just carryout pizzas. Do you have plans for dinner at home but still want a place to hang out with friends for a bit, try one of several local wineries, breweries, and bars.
When you are ready to leave it all behind, but not get too crazy – coffee and doughnut runs are NOT optional – then welcome to Hope & Anchor.
