Five Stars!

Excellent property! Easy access location. Close to gas, coffee, grocery, attractions. House was impeccably well maintained and clean. Fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pots & pans, coffee pot and even a crock pot! Laundry was a huge plus. Swing set in the back was a great perk!

Clean and comfy!

Perfect for those sensitive to fragrances. While perhaps not totally fragrance-free, no air fresheners assault your senses on arrival and there were no overwhelming detergent scents.Overall, the house was very clean and comfortable, with a well-supplied kitchen.There was road noise, but we quickly adjusted to it.We will definitely stay again!

Two years in a row!

This was our second year in a row staying here. Tina is an excellent and thoughtful host and the place is always super clean and tidy. We love this place and will keep coming back every year!

Eden House

Great place to stay when visiting the Lancaster area. The home is very convenient to all the things we wanted to visit. The house is cozy, clean, and comfortable. This is our 4th year in a row we have stayed at this beautiful home.

Favorite place to stay

The Eden cottage is beautiful, very comfortable and very clean. We’ve come here for three years now and look forward to coming back again. Tina is great with communication and very nice. We always have a great time and love the whole area.

Perfect weekend getaway

Loved the house and was perfect for our weekend getaway with family. The house is in a great location because you are close to a lot of restaurants and stores. We are looking forward to staying again next year. Tina is very friendly and was very helpful. Thank you Tina, it was a pleasure.

Clean, beautiful home

Stayed a few nights and found the home to be very clean, spacious, and close to everything. Quiet neighborhood. Nice swing-set for kids in the backyard, along with table and chairs on patio. Thank you.

Womens weekend

An amazing weekend. The house was very clean, cozy and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Everything we planned on doing was within 15 to 20 minutes! Definitely will be returning, was a great weekend. Thanks Cindy

Perfect! Clean, Comfortable & Convenient

Lovely home, beautifully landscaped and well appointed. Suitable floor-plan for my 91 year old mother, with walk-in shower and few entry steps to maneuver. This location was very close & convenient to amazing Amish farms, artisans, restaurants, coffee, ice cream, gas and groceries. Short drive to Sight and Sound Theater and outlet shopping. This was our second stay and we’ll be back!

Excellent location for activities

This home is comfortable, clean and in an excellent location for all-things Lancaster!! Great layout and we appreciated the washer/dryer. Easy parking and easy check-in. If in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful time

I have been going to Amish country for more than 40 years First time not in a hotel The host had everything we needed We will be booking another stay It was 100 degrees while we were there and it was great to have a place like this to return to each day

The Best VRBO Property

We have stayed at numerous VRBO properties, but none can compare with The Eden Guest House. It is a quaint house with all rooms on one floor. The house was very clean, tastefully decorated and charming. The layout of the house lent itself to an even flow without feeling cramped. The front porch was an additional bonus. The kitchen was well appointed. We will look forward to future stays at this property.

Warm, Inviting Cottage like Atmosphere

The house was better in person than it even appeared online and it looks lovely online. Besides being warm and inviting, the house appears larger than you might imagine as the space is well utilized. Also everything is supplied for you to use so you don't need to overpack. The house is in a location that makes it easily accessible for you to get to all the sites and shopping. No longer will I stay in a hotel because this charming home allows you to stay with family and yet have your space. Definitely a wonderful experience which was exactly what we needed as my Father recently passed and my husband and I brought my Mother with us and the house allowed us to be together and yet be apart comfortably. It also brought a new positive, experience to our travel to Lancaster as in the past the four of us would stay at a hotel. I would definitely recommend this charming home.

Girl trip

Every year we take a girl trip with friends we graduated with in 1967. The house was so warm and inviting. We enjoyed sight seeing around the area.

Welcome! We are Larry and Tina Frey. We were both born and raised in Lancaster County. Larry grew up living on a farm and my family background included Amish descendants. We both love meeting new people and sharing what we have been blessed with others. We look forward to meeting you!

We named our vacation home Eden Guesthouse of Lancaster because we wanted to provide a place where people can come to our beautiful county and rest and relax from their normal daily schedules. Eden meaning "A delightful abode", our prayer is that you truly will experience Eden while you are here.
