Large driveway with your own designated space, room for your boat, bikes or kayaks. Queen bed with quality bedding and spacious bath, large tiled interior shower with multiple shower heads, or shower under the stars in an additional enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower on your own patio space - Close to shopping, cafes, movies -lots of restaurants nearby or grill your supper -propane grill/patio table and comfortable seating for outdoor meals or morning coffee with a garden view-kitchenette with mw/fridge/coffee maker/toaster, etc. Additional access to laundry facilities available on request. All the comforts of home

While in Wilmington, the bungalow on Sabra Dr is a gem in the rough. Quite neighborhood, easy access to various places in Wilmington, and very comfortable. Extremely clean with comfortable bedding and chair. Initially, the soft mattress was a concern (sometimes hard to turn on) which surprisingly didn’t present any discomfort. Definitely a do-over.

Perfect place

Seriously, the best VRBO! Everything you could ever want or need. Outdoor shower, kitchenette, amazing bathroom! And it's perfectly centrally located. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Fabulous getaway near Wrightsville Beach

This is a lovely and comfortable apartment. The hosts met us when we arrived and introduced us to the accommodations. They had waters and coffee/creamer for our use. The location is so convenient to the beach and restaurants. We will 100% return!

Perfect for a long weekend get-away!

We loved our stay at this VRBO! It was spotless and stocked with water bottles, organic Half-and-half and Keurig coffee, which made for a pleasant arrival. It is located in a quiet neighborhood that is close to everything. We also enjoyed the beautiful courtyard. Bob, our host, was friendly and helpful in suggesting recommended places. Given the chance, we will definitely visit again!

Just what I needed

This is a charming, relaxing studio apartment. A quiet neighborhood close to everything I needed. Hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this property.

The owners were amazing. The place was close and convenient to everything. There was a tropical storm and I felt completely safe. I have all positives and could go on and on. Best VRBO I have stayed in.

Weekend Visit

We spent the weekend visiting our two kids in college. This place was perfect for my husband and I. The location is great, nice neighborhood and close to the college and restaurants. Everything we needed was provided and communication was exceptional. We will stay here again.

Lovely private space for weekend getaway!

The property is as advertised with great hosts! Bob greeted us as we arrived and showed us around the property. Apartment is very close to the beach and they provide all the small things you might need to have a fun trip. My friend and I loved our stay!

Wedding party

We came to area for a wedding. We were pleasantly surprised with the listing as an attached space to a home. It was very private and did not feel like we were at someone's home once inside. The owner met us and explained everything. The room and amenities were excellent for two persons. The neighborhood was nice and we felt very secure. We easily ubered to events within minutes. Would definitely stay here again!

Great weekend getaway

This was our second time staying at the Heron’s nest, and it is still one of our favorite places to stay. The prices are great, the location is close to downtown Wilmington and Wrightsville beach, and the space is so peaceful and clean. I would recommend this property to anyone, and I plan on coming back in the future.

This is the second time we have stayed at Heron's Nest. Excellent hosts and great location for staying in Wilmington. We will use this as our home away from home whenever we visit our daughter and granddaughter. Mini split AC was a nice add on as the weather was hot in July. Made the evenings and nights very pleasurable. Kerry and Diane.

Great getaway location

Such a lovely location to experience the best of Wilmington. Close to the beach and great access to sites around downtown Wilmington. Bob and Meroe have all the details covered. Such a wonderful hosts, and they for any need will be looking forward to getting away to this little spot again soon.

The Nest was a perfect retreat!

Perfect location - easy to beach or riverfront. On the bike path too. Everything you need close by. The hosts are kind and accommodating and have literally thought of everything you need. If you want a relaxed, nature-filled (outdoor space with trees and animals) retreat, the Nest has it all. Loved my stay. Thank you.

Unbelievably Great

The communication was great from beginning to end! The owners were so thoughtful & nice. They literally thought of everything & suggested places to eat in the area. It almost seemed too good to be true. The location was great (not far from 2 beaches) & the neighborhood was nice & quiet. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone searching.

As active retirees we love our home here in Wilmington, our vibrant historical downtown area and beautiful Wrightsville Beach.

We love the casual coastal vibe of Wilmington and the beautiful old historic downtown. We wanted a home that was close enough to the white sand and turquoise waters of Wrightsville beach so we could go for a beach walk after supper. We loved the big back yard with an old live oak ---and this great house had the potential to have room for our growing crop of visiting grandchildren and friends.
