Our guests tell us they are delighted with location of the Carlyle, the quality of the apartment, and the service. This beautiful Art Deco building is the perfect place for your stay in South Beach, Miami. It's located on Ocean Drive just steps to the beach and all that South Beach has to offer in terms dining and entertainment. The building has 24 hour concierge service and an outdoor restaurant. A public parking garage is across the street. Please be sure to view the video attached to this listing.

Short-term rentals are approved at The Carlyle. One of only 19 units, the space itself is recently renovated with new amenities and is decorated carefully to feel comfortable, inviting and elegant. The kitchen has new appliances, the living room is spacious, and the bedroom is separated by a sliding door for privacy. Great natural light throughout.

All in all, our space is a wonderful private retreat in the heart of South Beach action.

Fran and the team at The Carlyle were phenomenal. The condo room itself, its amenities, and the condo building’s location exceeded my expectations! This was my first trip to Miami, one I’ve been dreaming about for a long time. I cannot wait to return and stay at this location again. It’s close to everything I wanted to experience, and the people were super friendly. I miss it terribly! The only issues I had during my stay were not being able to connect to the WiFi inside the condo unit and difficulty hauling my luggage into and out of the building itself. The building is from the Art Deco time period and there are no ramps, and one of the elevators from the lobby was out of order, so I had to haul my luggage and my groceries and water for the week up and down a couple of flights of stairs and in front of dining guests on the front patio and inside the lobby restaurant. Hopefully there will be some solutions for these issues in the future, but neither will deter me from staying there again, it was wonderful. The proximity to the beach and nightlife are unmatched for the price and the amenities. Highly recommend!

From the beginning and through our entire stay. Everything was exactly what you would expect. Outstanding communication with the property owner, flawless check-in process, cleanliness of the property as well as all the comforts of home. Ideal location with beach access appropriately 200 yards from Ocean Drive.Concierge personnel was very helpful. Property was very secure and we HIGHLY recommend this location if you’re headed to the Miami South Beach area.

Over all it was ok. The Kuerig coffee maker was cheap and broken. Bath towels are BROWN and threadbare. Why brown? The bed is a Queen but feels small. The bedspread, pillows, mattress and the sheets were all really cheap. The furniture is contemporary in a Deco building.....seems to make more sense to decorate in the spirit of this 1940's Deco Hotel. It does get 5 stars for the location. The park at Miami Beach was super nice to walk, bike or skate. Very nice water front location.

Always a great location to stay. In the middle of the nightlife and beautiful boardwalk to walk or ride a bike during the day. We come stay every year and each year our friends are like “where did you stay?” Ocean Drive in South Miami Beach is a must and staying at The Carlyle, home of the Birdcage is an added treat!

The apartment met or exceeded all our expectations. The location in the iconic Carlyle Hotel put us in the heart of South Beach and the apartment itself was well stocked, nicely decorated, and surprisingly quiet considering its Ocean Boulevard address. The municipal parking lot directly across the street was super convenient. Fran provided detailed instructions for access to the apartment as well as a useful guide to nearby attractions. We’d definitely rent the unit again and we’ve already recommended it to friends & family.
