Portofino Island Resort (Tower 3-505) is located between Pensacola Beach and Santa Rosa Sound and is on what is fast becoming recognized as the mainland U.S.’s most beautiful stretch of beach – Florida’s Emerald Coast. The resorts several entertainment options include jet ski's, kayaks, paddle boards, beach chairs, water taxi and more (additional fees may apply)! The Portofino Lifestyle Center is a full-service gym and fitness facility which provides workout options for everyone, with all new state-of-the-art cardio equipment with personal touch screen monitors so you can watch your favorite television or hook up your iPod to access your own workout soundtrack or videos. The fitness center also features an extensive weight room area with a full circuit of Cybex equipment, free weights, fitness balls, bars and bands to help you meet your strength training goals.

This rare terrace unit panoramic views with floor to ceiling windows in both bedrooms and the living room/kitchen. The extremely large private balcony over looks the Santa Rosa sound and is a great place to enjoy your meals as well as relax in the evenings and enjoy the sunset. There is a full size table, lounge chairs as well as an electric grill on the terrace balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped. Each tower has a heated pool and spa with easy access to the beach.

This condo is located on the terrace level of Tower 3, with stunning views of the Santa Rosa Sound and an extra large balcony. This unit is western facing so you get the views of the wonderful Pensacola Sunsets!

This unit sleeps 6 as it has a king bed in the master, twin beds in the guest room and a sleeper sofa in the living room.

Great location and amenities. Spacious and clean condo. Definitely need to replace beds in second bedroom...headboards are constantly falling and leaning. Also need cushions on patio furniture. Showed them in photo...but the cushions for you to sit on are missing.

Great View with easy access to Beach

We had an enjoyable stay at the Portofino Resort. My kids and I loved the easy access to the beach and pools sit in the resort. We loved being able to eat on the beautiful deck and just loved the view. We were a little disappointed that we didn’t understand the checking process a little better. We were glad that the resort was open all night to check in and made it easy since we rolled in rather late. The things we were disappointed in were the beds. It said we would be comfortable for all 7 of us but the blow up mattress didn’t work and the pullout wasn’t very comfortable. Other than that we enjoyed the place. We loved being able to cook and grill our meals.

Amazing large patio

The only thing that was not convenient was not being able the put groceries in the pantry. It was locked. Other than that It was a perfect place for a perfect vacation

Perfect and roomy

We were in Pensacola for my sons wedding. We stayed in the home with 7 family members and had plenty of room!

Wonderfully active stay

We did as much as possible in a short stay, tennis, beach, pool, spa, restaurant, fitness center, running along the ocean, etc. , all within a five minute walk!

Memorial day stay

Loved our stay in this beautiful condo. Has been updated since photos were taken. Agreed the beds could have been better, the pull out was the softest of the beds. Great views of the bay

Lovely condo in a lovely resort

Enjoyed a great trip to the beach. Condo is as pictured except for updated living room furniture. Fabulous terrace. A bit of daytime noise due to renovations in surrounding condos. Kitchen well equipped. Enjoyed the electric grill. Bring your own dish towel.

Mother’s Day weekend

The unit was great had a great big balcony. Portofino is rally nice had lunch there and could have had dinner. Needs to have a breakfast option and you would never have to leave.

Wonderful condo with a view

This unit was wonderful for a girls weekend. We loved the terrace and having three bathrooms was really nice. There were a couple issues (ice maker not working, light not working in bathroom) but the maintenance person was prompt and we had a great time.

Spring Break

Portofino is a beautiful resort. The condo was very nice and furnishings have been updated since photos were taken. Patio is huge, but despite being on the lowest floor the room is located above 4 levels of parking garage, which I just hadn’t previously noticed. Beds could use some mattess toppers or replacing, additional blankets would also be helpful. Overall good experience, nice location, nice condo.

Super nice but....

The couple downfalls of this unit are: The bed is horrific to sleep in. Not comfortable at all. The balcony is great but, other patios can toss stuff into it. I got tired of cleaning up trash and cigarette butts. Main room TV is not a smart TV. Only the bedrooms and the menu to watch anything is annoying. I realize you are only in the rooms in the evening because most of the time is spent outside.... However if it is raining, it would be nice to have a decent TV set up in the main room so you do not have to sit in the crazy uncomfy bed to watch TV that you prefer. That is the only downfall. Overall it was great. Just a few downfalls.

Paradise

This unit worked perfectly for a family of 6 (two bedrooms, and full size sofa bed). It was clean, and had all the basic essentials that one would need to have a perfect vacation. The view of the Sound was amazing and even though you are on the first living floor (floors 1-4 are parking), we never heard anyone above us through the ceiling like a lot of condos. The unit is the first one from the beach, so it was super easy to just walk down and get to the beach quickly. It is the furthest from the bay where all the water sports are, but it was only like a 2 min walk between. If anyone is looking for a great spot to enjoy the Portofino resort, I'd highly recommend this unit!

Nice

Was nice property with nice views. Only thing I didn’t like is that their were some couple of roach bugs as well as the shower door had a hard time opening and closing. We also would’ve appreciated some better face towels. The face towels looked more like dish towels. But I did still enjoy my stay

Great unit

Unit was as pictured. Furnishings and beds very comfortable. Took a little bit to figure out the television since it was streaming, but it seems like most units are moving to this. The other people in my group with rooms had the same situation. Overall, great time and homey feeling.

2nd time to stay in this unit

This was our 2nd time to stay in this unit. The overall experience is a great one - both times we've stayed the weather has been extraordinary and the ocean amazing. My husband loves the all inclusive - never have to leave the resort and our teens love the options. This unit has an extended patio which we utilize and we love the location of tower 3 vs the other towers. We opted for arm bands for our kids to enjoy the water park, boogie boards, bikes etc and that was a great option. Overall a nice vacation and we had a great time!

Maintenance issues

Very difficult to reach a ykne if you have any maintenance issues. The lights didn't work in the guest bedroom and bathroom. I called maintenance and was told that someone would be there within 15 minutes (delay due to shift change was what she stated). I waited for almost 2 hours and nobody came. And when I tried to call maintenance back, I was sent to a voicemail that was full and couldn't leave a message. Sitting in a room waiting on maintenance that never showed up is not the way that I prefered to spend my afternoon

BEST SPRING BREAK EVER

My family and I have been coming down to Pensacola and other parts of Florida for the last eight spring breaks and have always rented a condo on the beach. This trip was by far the best. Portofino resort is wonderful with everything you could possibly want. Most all of the other condos on the beach we stayed at didn’t even heat their pool. We will absolutely be back to Portofino. Having the giant patio area was awesome, at first I was disappointed by the patio furniture but the first morning when I found a cigarette butt tossed down from an upper floor had burned a hole in one of the cushions, I realized why it doesn’t make sense to try and have nice things. Unfortunately some people have no respect for other people’s property. We will be back

Beautiful unit, great resort and spectacular soft white sand beaches.

Beautiful unit. Tricia and Kevin were very responsive. Very friendly staff and the soft white sand beaches are spectacular. We will definitely be back.
