Grandma's Cabin ~

If you are looking for the Montana experience, this is the place! Now with a new, bigger front deck for more space to enjoy the MT evenings!

This beautiful private log home is secluded on 40 acres, and located just minutes from Glacier National Park. The cabin has 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms with room to sleep 2 adults and 1 kid. There is 1 queen bed, with a beautiful log frame and 1 twin bed, more suitable for a child.

This cabin is the perfect home base for your Glacier vacation. Rafting, hiking, fishing, and biking are just a few of the activities you and your family can enjoy in the area. Bring your camera, out door gear, and sunscreen!

After your day in Glacier, come back to your secluded cabin with your loved ones and enjoy a nice meal, movie, or fire in the outdoor fire pit.

Note: This cabin is in the forest. You will have some insects (gnats, mosquitoes, flies, and spiders) at anytime throughout the year. There will be wild animals such as but not limited to bats, deer, gophers, elk, bears, and other animals around the cabin as well. Please be aware of these and prepare accordingly.

We loved our stay in grandma’s cabin. Ryan was an awesome host and very communicative before end during our trip. The cabin was clean with a beautiful yard in lake 5 around the corner. Easy driving to GNP, Airport, restaurants. Would Highly recommend.

Great location in West Glacier

This cabin was in a great location close to West Glacier. Although there was plenty to do and experience in the area. The cabin had a private and secluded feel to it which we loved! I highly recommend for small parties.

Perfect little cabin close to Glacier

Location of this cute cabin is key! Just outside of Glacier. It was quite comfortable and had everything you would need. All the flowers outside added a nice touch. I would recommend Grandma’s Cabin if you want to stay outside of the park.

Love this place

We stayed here 4 years ago during the 4th of July with the kids. My wife and I returned for our anniversary. Grandma’s Cabin doesn’t disappoint. Since our last visit they have added a min split a/c unit which cools the whole house. New front stone door and a whole new and larger front porch. We love the cabin and although it’s close to GNP and amenities, the 40 acres make it a private escape. Hope to return some day for a 3rd stay.

40th anniversary getaway July to Glacier National Park

Grandma's cabin was everything we hoped for and more. Fantastic location near West Glacier National Park entrance. Completely secluded. Nothing but trees and beauty surrounding this. Super quiet. Really fun. Loved the woodstove. The cabin had everything you would need. Cannot recommended it enough. The owner was very responsive and friendly.

Lovely log cabin surrounded by woods. Nice and secluded. It was great to be that close to the park. I would recommend to everybody.

Secluded log cabin very close (10 minutes) from West Glacier National Park entrance. Ideal base camp for GNP day trips! Host is excellent.

Nice cabin close to west entrance of GNP

Nice log cabin that sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids with a wonderful front porch. Had lots of fun grilling and resting memories by the campfire. We had a group of about 8 and the rest stayed at the nearby “Grandpa’s Cabin”

Better than expected!!

I’ll tell you this, the pictures don’t do it justice! It’s tucked away, but just far enough away to feel both hidden, and close enough to town that you’re not too far away from anything needed. The now was amazing, and the fireplace was soooo warm and cozy. I will definitely look this little place up again as soon as possible!

Hikers Haven

Perfect location to GNP, private, cozy cabin close to Lake Five and offering spectacular Mountain View. Beautiful yard and a relaxing front porch glider. We chose the spot because we wanted to do our own meals and the cabin offers a full kitchen- could use more glassware and a new set of pots/pans with covers- both easy and inexpensive items to add. Overall a terrific stay.

Glacier Vacation

A fairytale log cabin set in the woods just three miles from Glacier NP west entrance. The host, Ryan, is responsive, and professional. We were a day early arriving and the cabin was available and clean so we were allowed to extend our six days to sven.

Glacier Retreat

Everything about this much loved cabin was perfect. Isolated and private with great care taken for interior detail and outdoor landscaping. We loved visiting Glacier, but spending a few days here was the real vacation.

Cozy cabin, quiet yet close to the park

This cabin was just lovely! We spent so much time outside on the front deck, feeling like we were a million miles from other people. The wooden construction of the house was beautiful, everything worked as it was supposed to, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Yet we were a mere 8 minute drive to the park! If we return to Glacier, I would definitely want to stay here again.

Glacier Cabin

Great cabin for couple- excellent location to the park. Top quality wood work , enjoyed the outside fire pit. Very quiet and peaceful. Will book again when the area.

Romantic Retreat

We had a delightful stay at this charming one-bedroom cabin nestled in the mountains and countryside. From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by how impeccably clean and adorable the space was. Amenities were very adequate making our stay comfortable and convenient. The surrounding countryside was simply breathtaking, offering serene views and endless opportunities for outdoor adventures. Additionally, the host was accommodating and easy to reach, ensuring that our experience was stress-free from start to finish. We can't wait to return to this peaceful retreat in the mountains!

Our family grew up in Shelby, MT and used to spend family weekends at the Lake 5 resort. We bought our first summer cabin on Lake 5 in July of 1984 and have been enjoying Lake 5 and Glacier National Park ever since. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
