Beautiful spot on the water in northern DC. Secluded home but near everything you’d want to visit. Simple but comfortable home. Small hiccup at property was handled quickly and effectively. Would definitely stay again!

This was a beautiful property. The view of the lake was incredible and we really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best but we were able to make the best of it. Jen responded every time I contacted her. We will hopefully return.

We had a terrific time staying at the cottage! It had plenty of room for our family of 5 and everything we needed. It is a great location with a beautiful view! Jen was a wonderful host with great communication. We would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Jen's place, steps away from Lake Michigan. The place was rustic, but was comfortable and had a wonderful huge fireplace and Jen supplied all the firewood we wanted. I indicated that the price was high, as we were only two people and didn't need the 3 bedrooms might have warranted the price. It was the location we were going for, being on the lake, and within a few short minutes of the County Park and the State Park for beautiful hiking in the fall foliage. Ellison Bay was a great location for peace and quiet, excellent hiking, and excellent dining options. And a shout out for Camilla's Boutique in Ellison --unique, stylish clothing at a great price point, and super helpful owner!

We were an extended family of 8. It was comfortable but a little tight. The weather was great and the swimming was fabulous. The kids loved paddling out to the ship wreck. The adults sat on shore and could watch from the shade. We will be coming back again.

This is a beautiful location. The only negative I have is the living room furniture. It needs an update. Chairs and sofa not comfortable. We were a group of three adult women, so we may have been a little more picky.

Relaxing

Quiet and relaxing stay and dog friendly allowed us to take the whole family. Enjoyed waking up to the view of the water and the sunrises and sunsets. Location was amazing also

Beautiful and peaceful

We loved our stay. The cabin has a beautiful view of the lake. Although it felt very private and secluded it was a short drive to Sister Bay. We were very comfortable.

Great place for a group!

The property is amazing! The waterfront space is so peaceful and gorgeous, the yard overlooks this space which is super nice! We had multiple friends stay so we all had a bed and the two full bathrooms was a life saver to get ready in! The location is perfect for keeping a peaceful trip in Door County off the busier areas. We loved how close food options were and the sand beaches. Definitely recommend and would go again!

Enjoyed our time on Garrett Bay. The views and beach were spectacular; the house was clean besides some moths/spiders; but that is to be expected for a lakeside home. Linens, kitchen, and bathrooms were tidy and had what we needed! We came for the water access and were not disappointed!

Cozy Cottage

The views are spectacular! So relaxing with the water And waves rolling in. If you want a secluded and nature filled vacation this is the spot! You can also head into the busier towns for shopping and restaurants. The owners are wonderful people!

Heaven by the Lake!

From the check in process to the check out process, Jen was amazing! The place was beautiful and the view magnificent!! We spent most of our days hiking the local state parks and spent the evenings cooking and having a few by the fire. What a great place to stay!!

cabin on lake Michigan

we had a wonderful time at this cabin. cute comfy to stay in. beautiful view of lake Michigan . we love riding our bikes all around and to gills rock to shop and eat at there great restaurant up there. would love to stay again some day.

I am a "repeat customer" and I once again enjoyed a nice stay at the Fleetwing. It's exactly what I want and need when I come to Door County -- quiet, on the water, and off the beaten path. Plenty of parks and natural areas within a short-ish drive. The host, Jen, is easy to get in touch with, but I rarely have the need. I hope to come back again.
