SAWYER - Warren Dunes & Weko beach, 4 bedroom, close to many breweries-wineries

This four bedroom home is sure to satisfy all your needs. It has two full bathrooms upstairs and one half bathroom downstairs. Washer and dryer available. Spacious kitchen has coffee area, dishwasher, garbage disposal, full size refrigerator and freezer, gas stove and microwave. Dining room has open feel with bar stool sitting option as well. Large living room with large windows. Family room with TV and sliding glass doors that go to the back porch. Back porch has two doors, screen or closed Windows options - has seating and table area. There is a grill outside and a fire pit. Great place to sit and have a glass of wine and let the kids play.
Downstairs bedroom has full size bunk bed with a TV and DVD player. Master bedroom upstairs has full bathroom and TV, with a queen sized bed. Two other upstairs bedrooms have full size beds. House should have all the things you need for your stay, with some added extras. We have a pack n play available as well. We are located on a wooded private road.
Three of the upstairs bedrooms have window air conditioning units and a large one for the downstairs. Stays plenty cool. Also ceiling fans in all upstairs bedrooms. We are well stocked with items to make your packing easier and lighter.

We are less than an hour from Notre Dame. Stay with us for your fall football games! Come explore all of our breweries and wineries, we have MANY!!
Great Place for a small retreat too!

We so loved our weekend at Darcy's place, a wonderful house to gather with our kids & grandkids! Plenty of comfy beds for good sleep, & lots of spots in the house & outside for gathering, playing & conversation. The kids loved the toys! We enjoyed making meals in the kitchen, smores around the campfire, & playing family games. We loved the house & location. It is a special place. We will be back! Thank you, Darcy!

This house is absolutely fantastic for families. We loved our 4 night stay and we didn’t want for anything. The host even left a gift of farm fresh eggs and a bottle of wine! We had 6 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of spaces to occupy with ease. The house was spotless and outfitted perfectly for a fun vacation.

Wedding Weekend

25th anniversary bash!

Perfect for our large group!! Comfortable seating, great spaces to play games, and the perfect kitchen for big meals. We loved the walk to the beach, it was part of the fun! So glad to have ample space for a camp fire too!

Came in town for a family wedding! Great location, great large home to accommodate all of us! This home offers so much fun, the badminton was a huge hit in our family. So many toys for kids and the beach is steps or a quick drive away. So much fun packed into a long weekend. Thank you Darcy for quick responses and a wonderful visit!

Beautiful home, helpful host and great location!

Our family loved this special place to stay for our recent family reunion! We loved the house, enjoyed time in the backyard and were a short drive away to Warren Dunes beach. Definitely recommend!

A great place to stay

The place has a nice back yard with campfire area and grill area. It has lots of nice sleeping space and three restrooms. Lots of games and a big lounge area. We had a good time. Would definitely recommend it.

Amazing Stay

I think the highly rated reviews already explain how good the host and their place is. Their house was very clean and nicely decorated with plenty of space for at least 6-8 people. The host also left fresh eggs from their chickens and some wine and was incredibly flexible for check in and check out times. We would definitely ask for staying here again.

Great place in perfect neighborhood

Darcy’s place was perfect for our stay. In a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the dunes and beach. Nice big yard and comfortable interior. Communication with host was excellent. Would stay again!

Wonderful family place to stay!

This was a great place to stay for our family! We stayed 3 nights, us, our kids, & our grandkids! The kids loved all the toys. We didn’t have to pack any toys! We enjoyed the kitchen, cooking in, the grill, the fire pit, the comfy beds, & location! Walked to the beach. Made lots of sweet memories! Had a relaxing stay! Thank you, Darcy!

As Comfy as Home

This is a great home. All the amenities you could ask for. Tons of games. Back yard was great and we enjoyed a bonfire. Lots of rooms to sit back and enjoy including the sun porch. The host was very attentive and even gifted us with a dozen farm fresh eggs we enjoyed. It is really a great place to stay!!

Great stay, family friendly

This was an awesome rental, we stayed for 4 days with a lot of people and a wide range of ages. The house is super comfy with lots of space to spread out its and stocked with anything you can think of needing and more. We cooked, grilled, bonfired, and beached. There’s an entire room of toys and game for the kids, towels and chairs for beaching, even big spray for venturing to the trail near by into the dunes. We felt as ease with all the kids running around and had a really relaxing stay. Darcy was a super accommodating and kind host. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely home

Good location, walkable to back door of Warren dunes. Cute home, well appointed with a good first floor plan that allows kids to play or watch tv in one room while adults gather in another. Bonus: loads of frogs to catch in front / back yard.

Thoughtful!

This place was perfect for our family! First, the space itself allowed for a larger group to both gather together but when needed find quieter get aways. It is clear that the host has a focus on making the time there comfortable as almost every potential need is met. And they are extremely responsive when there are questions or needs that arise.

Great choice for our last minute trip

We scheduled a last minute trip to Michigan for a few days and were lucky to find this house available. Darcy was very accommodating and responsive to questions ahead of time and during our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with plenty of games for the kids. The kids enjoyed the small yard out back with plenty of trees and sticks to have fun with. Location is great, easy access to Warren Dunes and everything else in the southwest Michigan area. We enjoyed our stay in Sawyer!

Relaxed Get Away near Beach

We had a wonderful stay. Communication with Darcy was wonderful, beforehand and after. She was very resourceful, friendly, and was very flexible with check in and check out. They house is in walking distance to the beach but the walk is "far" and on a street - just not ideal for small children. However, the beach is gorgeous. You can access the beach through a quick drive without any difficulties.

Cozy, like home!

Super attentive host, that checked in a few times to make sure we had what we needed! House was well stocked, and cozy. Made you feel like home. We enjoyed the provided croquet set, and played multiple games in the back yard. Loved the open feeling of the kitchen & living area, for more togetherness for our large family of 9 adults & 3 very small children. The walk to the beach was an easy >mile… unless you have to carry children & stuff. Idk if a stroller or wagon would’ve made the trek easier. We would definitely stay again!

Memorial Day Getaway

We had the best time staying @ The Shorewood-Tower Hills-Harbert home. 2 families, a couple of grade school kids and 2 adult friends for a weekend of beach walks, fire pit hang outs and communal meals. Close to everything, we went to Redamaks in New Buffalo for burgers, for pizza and beers @ Haymarket Brewery and go carting/minigolfing @ Captain Mike's in Bridgeman. The house have everything we could need, and the screened in porch with the wicker swing was the cherry on top. The owners were quick to communicate and were flexible on the check in and out times to boot. We would highly recommend this home for your next trip to the area.

Family Gathering

We had a wonderful time at this home. It was perfect for our family get-together! There were so many spaces for people to spread out and /or gather – both inside and out. The enclosed porch was a favorite spot! The closet full of books, toys and games was an unexpected bonus, thrilling my 4 and 6 year old granddaughters! Darcy was an exceptional host -- responsive, considerate and accommodating. It was a pleasure to meet and work with her. We all agreed that the home more than lived up to its billing on Vrbo!

Darcy Saves the Day

After another property fell through at the very last minute (we had already checked in) I was scrambling to find a home for 8 of the 32 family members gathered from all over the country for our biannual reunion. Darcy was amazing, making her home available early, and following through with fantastic support throughout the week. We fell in love with Sawyer and will return for 2025. And we named a cocktail after Darcy, what a star!

Wonderful!

Hands down one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in so far. Darcy is an excellent host and the house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. While it was nice to be close to the Dunes, we actually preferred Cherry Beach in Harbert as a parking pass was included. It is smaller, but much quieter. A short drive from the house. Neighborhood was peaceful and house stayed nice and cool. Check out Greenbush Brewery in downtown Sawyer for a delicious brisket and beer. Great coffee at Infusco Coffee Roasters and picked up some goodies at the Sawyer Home and Garden Center. Ice cream at The Beach Bucket is a must! Great location and easy to get to neighboring towns. All in all a very enjoyable vacation.

Home away from home in Great location

This home has everything you need, whether you are traveling with little ones or teens. We had 5 adults and 5 preteen and teens with us. All had plenty of room to hang out, whether together or apart. Kitchen well appointed, beach towels provided, and plenty of parking. The owner makes herself available and is very kind. Plenty of little things to make trip more enjoyable, portable charcoal grill w charcoal, grilling utensils, shampoo and body wash, paper plates and plastic utensils, wood bundle, and off spray. Washer and dryer life savers with kids. The area is lovely with many upscale housing nestled in woods. Spent time at Warren Dunes, Cherry beach and Weko. Definitely will stay here upon my return to area.
