Our Buche Berghaus is a peaceful getaway for all seasons. The house has all new insulated windows & doors. The large living room has a gas stone fireplace, a 55" flat screen TV, DVD player and wifi throughout house. The kitchen has been completely remodeled with all new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and tile floor and is well stocked and the large dining room seats 8 with new sliding glass doors to front deck. There is a wet bar and large pantry. The master bedroom has a king bed, completely renovated master bath and a flat screen TV. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, a flat screen TV and sliding glass doors to rear deck. The large loft has 2 twin beds and a game table. The main bath and half bath have been totally renovated. There is a full size washer (new) and dryer (new). There is covered parking for 1 car and driveway parking for an additional 4 cars. The rear deck has a chiminea, a fire pit and a beautiful view of the woods. The front deck has a propane grill, a table for 6 with winter views of the ski slopes.

We are not far from Banner Elk, Boone, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Year round activities include hiking, wineries, breweries, restaurants, fishing or enjoying the peaceful beauty of Beech Mountain from the deck or the cozy fireplace. Nearby summer activities include tubing, zip lining, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, mountain coaster, high ropes course and kayaking to name a few. Winter activities are skiing, snowboarding, sledding and ice skating at the Beech Mountain Resort (1 mile from house). The average snowfall is 70 inches. The fall colors are breathtaking.

There are books and games for adults and children. We have a pack n play (provide own sheets) and highchair for the younger set. There are several snow discs for sledding.

We are Beech Mountain Country Club members, so during the summer, you can take advantage of club offerings like heated swimming pool, golf, massage, pickleball and tennis for a very nominal fee.

Great Stay!

Property convenient to Beech Mountain and had plenty of space for our group of 4. Hosts were very quick to respond and very pleasant to deal with. Would definetly recommend and use again.

Ski weekend stay!

We had a great stay at the house and it fit 6 adults comfortably! We saw some deer in the morning which was a fun bonus! Very comfy beds in the home and the living space was nice to chill after a day on the slopes. The only thing I would say is that in the photos you dont see how small the kitchen is, not a problem for us since we were only there to sleep but could be an issue for people who want to cook big meals.

Nice Condo!

Great location. Nice accommodations. Need a few fans for ventilation. Need check-in procedures emailed directly to personal email and not via VRBO. Easier to find how to get in!

We are the Daniele family. We live in central Florida and love Beech Mountain. We visited friends here during the summer and by the end of the year we had purchased our own piece of paradise. We love the summer weather, rarely gets above 80 degrees with very little humidity. The winters allow us to enjoy our love of skiing. It is a great place for all ages. Our grandchildren love watching the deer in the back yard. There is always something to do on Beech Mountain.

The kitchen is complete with all the conveniences you would have at home. We have covered parking for 1 car and space for 4 additional cars.
