This two bedroom unit features stainless steel appliances, and a full sized washer and dryer. Beautifully and comfortably furnished, both bedrooms have queen sized beds. There is also a queen sized pullout couch in the spacious living room. On site is a gorgeous swimming pool, a perfect sunbathing and lounging area. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac just off the world famous Cable Beach strip, beaches, food stores, fine and fast food dining, shops - including the local straw market, and hotels are all a short walk away.

Not on beach

This is not on the beach and cannot walk anywhere as there are no sidewalks! Have plenty of cash majority of the taxis take cash only and not cheap. There are no lounge chairs at the pool either just a small table

Cute and comfortable house. Nice break from the cold.

We loved the cute house and pretty surroundings and pool. Unfortunately there weren't enough eating utensils for the four of us. There were also no paper towels or napkins. The location looks good, and is good if you have a car and dare drive on the left side of the road. But it is diificult to get anywhere without a vehicle. We ended up stumbling through the forest to get to the grocery store, fast food, bus stop, and beach. It was a scary hike, but the only way we could find.

Better than a hotel!

Everything about the property was wonderful and on point. The two bedrooms were easily accessible, 1 on the 1st fl for anyone with a mobility issue and walk-in shower, 2nd bedroom and bathroom upstairs. A full kitchen with microwave and small coffee maker, not a Kuerig. Shopping is close by, and in walking distance. There is also a pool, which was very clean and had 4 chair and a table poolside that was great for sitting in the sun or coffee in the morning. There is also a washer dryer, wifi, and general instructions for various things in the house. The only issue was getting transportation in and out of there. If you're not renting a car, try to get the taxi driver who gets you there to take you around or recommend another driver who will. Otherwise, our stay was perfect!

Not what we expected

Came for a basketball tournament and extended stay. We loved the pool and the neighborhood was safe, centrally located. Condition of the home needs upgrading. Couches and mattresses were very uncomfortable. Toaster didn’t work, not much in flatware and dishes for 4 people. Photos were a little deceptive. You get what you pay for!!

Absolutely Amazing

Everything about Villa and neighborhood is top tier...the pool is definitely a go to the water stays warm even at night. We no no issues things are walking distance such as restaurants beaches local stores and restaurants. We enjoyed 6nights .there

Bday trip

Communication with Dion was awesome his response time was excellent. He checked on us the whole trip and made sure that we were good. The house was clean on arrival, I stayed in the pool. Overall I had a great time. I will definitely come back.

It was a wonderful choice to rent that property. We are group of four travelled to the Bahamas first time. We rented the car and that condo on Yorkshire street. The location is great. Few beaches are nearby, 5-15 min drive. It is near downtown but not so noisy and crowded. The condo is clean, has everything we needed. The owner gave helpful instructions before we arrived.

This property was ideally located in close proximity to beaches, eating places and supermarkets . The pool right beside is another “ BIG” bonus for those with little ones as we were. Roomy with everything that one could need this was a gem that I found and I was so VERY glad . Communication with the property owner was easy and seamless and I liked the clear communication Definitely being added to list of places to keep in mind WHEN, note it’s when not IF , I come back to the Bahamas !!

Nice home

Location was a bit of a walk anywhere. The store is directly behind the home but not accessible without going through a wet field area or walking several blocks. The beach is several blocks away.

Everything was perfect for us. I would recommend others to stay. The only thing that wasn’t ready by the time we came was the pool but eventually it was cleaned for us. Would just suggest to have it clean before check in and maybe another mattress topper for sleep comfort. Besides that this stay was very convenient and great for me and my cousins

Great stay

Me and a group of friends rented out this Vrbo for 6 days. After reading a couple bad reviews I was a little nervous about how clean the house was gonna be. But after arriving we had no problems and the house was in great condition. I would recommend staying at this house to anyone. The location was perfect and there was plenty of room for me and four friends. The only other thing I would say is that the pool is not private as the listing implies and is shared with the houses next door.

Live like locals

The owner was great, easy to communicate with, quick response. Property had all basic necessities. No extras, no coffee filters, no laundry soap, no consumables. Used the empty lot to walk across to amenities, rather than longer walk around. Biggest complaint would be lack of cleanliness. I could not stand the condition of the pillows on the couches, purchased laundry detergent and washed them right away. Attention to detailed cleaning missed. I also washed the light switches, so I didn't stick to them. I did not get to the floor, we just wore our sandals indoors. The pool was lovely and very clean. Is a nice basic unit that would be fine to stay in with a deep clean inside.

Perfect for a family of 4

A car rental is a must unless you are not planning on leaving the house. This property is in a great part of Nassau (Cable Beach) where my wife and 20 yr old daughter were able to walk the neighborhood without worry. We travelled by car to all the popular beaches and never had trouble finding parking. We packed our own tent for shade on beach, and two collapsable high back beach chairs since this property doesnt have that amenity. Hand and dish soap was there, some toilet paper… In summary, it was a great deal (for what you pay, this was perfect)!

It was spacious and quiet in a nice resendential area of cable beach. The photos do not show that the kitchen cupboards are relatively empty. No essentials for a week's stay. Had to buy coffee filters, paper towels, kitchen scissors, ice cube trays and 2 cheap wine glasses that cost me the price of fine crystal. No blender, measuring cup or spoons. The bed linens need to be thrown out and so do the mattress covers. Bed linens while an attractive colour were sleezy poleyester and slid all over the plastic mattress cover. There was also only a comforter on the bed not a light quilt which would be suitable in a tropical climate. The main bathroom downstairs only had 1/2 roll of TP and no spare for a week really?!! The pool looks nice in the photos but no privacy from street. Would have been nice to have a small cooler (we brought our own) and definately beach chairs and we definately have to drive to the beach. A couple of lounge chairs at the pool would have been welcome also since we were not close to a beach. AND DEFINATELY A BETTER CLEANING STAFF. THE STOVE WAS DISGUSTING AND THE FLOORS WERE DIRTY. Took our shoes off as we came in the door and within hours the bottoms were black. This place has lots of potential if just a few $$'s were spent to make it worthy of a VRBO vacation rental. I booked this last june so didn't see the remarks which came after or I would definately have cancelled. See my review of Orchid Cottage, Eleuthera for opposite critique

Cleanliness is next to godliness

The townhome needs a Thorough cleaning. I read the previous reviews and I figured the owner would have made adjustments due to the different reviews of the home. Once we check in we were going to check out and rent a hotel however all of the hotels were booked and the ones that were available were two stars and charging over 5k for the weekend. The kitchen had little roaches which was weird to me because there was no food in the kitchen. We saw it on the first night that we were there. The same worn out food stain plastic dishes were still there we didn’t eat out of it. Let’s start with the pictures, the pictures on a listing is not the pictures of the home. There is three set of townhomes back to back and those pictures are maybe pictures of those townhomes but it’s not the pictures of the one that we rented. The painting of the were different, we rented were blue walls and a furniture were completely different the pictures on the wall will completely different as well. The upstairs bedroom was different also. The downstairs TV did not work, the townhome was very dusty the light fixtures had tons of dust on it literally tons you can wipe it with your finger. The upstairs bathroom was not clean, the shower upstairs clearly was not clean full of mold and the sink was disgusting, the handles were corroded And there were stool stains inside of the toilet . We didn’t use that bathroom at all ,we all (4) of us used the downstairs bathroom which was a little better as far as the shower and toilet goes. The same thing downstairs with the sink handles being corroded. The bedding was truly horrible there was a store right before the townhome on the main road we went and got sheets there and covered the bed, the towels were very hard and overused ,they had lint balls over them. The pool was probably the only clean thing there. The only reason we didn’t complain while we were there because we were in a different country and we wanted to protect our kids. However the owner needs to fully clean this town home . Thankfully the weekend that we were there we were out mostly the whole day and only came back to bathe and sleep and out again. I would not rent from this dion again. I took pictures of everything as well

There wasn't a sponge to clean dishes. There wasn't a chopping board. Found hair balls in bathroom. Very weathered faucets. And no paper towels. Afraidd to sit on the sofas due to their moldy looks. No shampoo, shower gel or bar soap for shower.

The Property That Misled

The property was in a nice area. The property was clean, however, the ammenities and furniture need to be updated. The old plastic dishes and cutlery need replacing. The couches need to be upgraded. The photos of the pool were very misleading, we were under the impression that the pool was private. It was a community pool, that was completely open to the road, and for use by all the tennants next door. As a result, we chose to go to the beach, we did not use the pool at all. Overall, the location was safe and we were comfortable.

Excellent location and host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Challenging times for everyone with the Covid restrictions on the island but Dion was very patient and helpful with all his recommendations. We brought 7 (!) people, 3 more than originally planned, and Dion was totally cool about everything. The house takes care of your basic needs. Very quiet neighborhood- pool for the kids to relax. It is strategically located far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nassau/Atlantis but close enough to visit those places. It’s also close to more quiet beaches so you can do both! Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. We highly recommend this quaint house and we would definitely stay there again. A great host always makes the difference.

Bahamas Getaway

This property was immaculately clean and comfortable. We especially liked the fact that the unit was a "stand-alone". Everything we needed to feel at home was there. All of the equipment and utilities were in working order. Overall, we were very impressed with the property.

Great Host

Great accommodation and location. We settled on this location because of all the wonderful reviews of the host, Dion. He exceeded our expectations. He picked us up at the marina, drove us around and showed us different places and even stopped at the rum cake factory so our daughter could buy one! His recommendations for food were spot on and the rental car made it very convenient for us to get out and about and explore (although not necessary as a lot of places are within walking distance and we saw lots of public buses). We did spend some quite time and around the pool which was a nice touch as well.
