The Roaring Fork River is a short walk away and local bike paths close by. Riverdale is located in a quiet place to relax and close to all Glenwood Springs has to offer. For those who love to cook, we have more than salt n pepper for your spices, a waffle iron, a blender, toaster and a crock pot. Enjoy wifi and a large screen smart tv (Netflix provided but not cable, login to your favorite apps) from an open living room, kitchen and dining room area. Perfect for 4 people. A well behaved pet is welcomed to enjoy the fully enclosed yard, a water bowl and 2 pet beds of their own. Please no smoking in or outside, this is due to past abuse of non smoking policy.

A great, set-back from the road home, surrounded by trees was just wonderful for our stay. It's close to all of the Glenwood Springs attractions and restaurants but yet quiet and relaxed, away from downtown. Whether sitting out on the deck, enjoying the night sky, or preparing a meal, we enjoyed all of the features of this home. We'll be back!

The house was extremely clean and made us feel comfortable! I loved the walking trail nearby along the water. Nice fenced in back yard if you have pets. Comfy patio furniture to enjoy on the deck. We would return!

The little house was perfect for my sister and me. The owner/manager Dennis who lived next door was very friendly and very helpful. We had everything we needed and felt very safe and comfortable during our two night stay in Glenwood Springs. Don’t miss Iron Mountain Springs or Annie’s Bakery if you visit.

The location was convenient to all attractions. The couch and bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was amazing with well stocked cooking utensil's, pots, pans, spices. A nice washer and dryer in the basement was very convenient. Would rent again for sure.

Nice place overall but came with bugs!

It really was a nice place that seemed to fit our needs perfect. A good place, close to restaurants and activities. Unfortunately, when we got there, the place had loads of bugs! Hundreds of them were crawling on the window and walls, freaking out my kid who has sensory issues, especially with bugs. After using a can of our bug spray and roll of paper towels, we handled the issue ourselves, eliminating the bugs. A few popped up here and there during our 2 night stay, but nothing we couldn't handle. A nice place, but that definitely was a downside of an otherwise nice stay

Perfect Place For Us

We loved everything about our trip to Glenwood Springs. This was perfect place to stay for three adults and our furry family member: from the fenced yard and dog treats to several dog beds and bowls.The beds and living room were very comfortable; and the kitchen was well stocked. This was a quiet, clean place to stay with lots of fun things to do in the area. We hiked, swam, paraglided, took scenic drives, ate yummy food, watched movies at the house, went to the adventure park where we explored caves and scared ourselves on fun rides, and to finish our week, we went white water raftingWe would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

Excellent location and very clean property. Very good sized fenced in yard that our 3 dogs loved! Property manager/owners were very friendly and had great communication with us through the entire process. Highly recommend this property!!

Dog friendly and close to town!

Great place for exploring Glenwood with our pre-teen and dog. Popular attractions are 10 min away. Secluded setting and fantastic neighbors!Location to Atkinson Canal Trail was ideal for dog walks.Spent every evening playing Checkers and Mancala from provided entertainment.Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very comfortable

This is Avery comfortable unit with a great well equipped kitchen. Bathroom is in good shape. Nice living area. Owner was responsive to an access issue. Would stay here again.

Dennis and I met in Glenwood Springs when I came to Colorado Mountain College in 1978 and I have been in the valley ever since. Dennis, on the other hand, grew up here and has family who homesteaded the Ruedi area and has family history in this valley. We had enjoyed traveling with our fur baby, Patches, so we knew Riverdale had to be a place for complete families to come and enjoy Glenwood Springs.

We liked Riverdale Cottage because of it's location but we were surprised how quiet this little home is. Riverdale Cottage is close to everything our area has to offer for outdoor activity, skiing and restaurants. It is located in a nice area away from the noise of downtown traffic and yet is only a 2-5 minute drive downtown. There are two city trails by Riverdale Cottage that are used for walking or biking and are very handy for going downtown or to enjoy the river. You will find Riverdale Cottage is a nice retreat from the bustle of our busy lives and your dog will enjoy the enclosed yard and freedom off leash while you unwind.

Riverdale Cottage sits back in a nook that makes it a peaceful getaway. Enjoy a full enclosed yard with a back deck and grill after your daily adventures. I love that the Cardiff walk bridge is just down the sidewalk for a nice overlook of the Roaring Fork River. Sunlight Ski is about 15 miles away, Snowmass/Aspen are 45 minutes and an hour drive will bring you to Vail. Come home to Glenwood and visit one of our 2 Hot Springs pools or take the tram up to the caverns and overlook the valley with a glass of wine. Doggie day care is available in town and we do ask that your dogs are not left at home alone ALL day.
