Take a step into your next favorite vacation home here at Lazy Bear Lodge. This highly sought after modern rustic cabin is located in the Northern Black Hills recreational corridor just minutes from the local ATV/snowmobile trail system, 5 minutes to skiing at Terry Peak only 10 minutes from Deadwood, 15 minutes to Spearfish Canyon Lodge, and about an hours drive to Mount Rushmore!

Lazy Bear is a 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin which will comfortably sleep 10. It is professionally furnished to make you feel right at home and the cabin has WIFI, cable, games and parking for motorcycle/ATV trailers. The main level has an open living/kitchen/dining area, with an amazing fireplace and a 55” smart TV above the mantle. Enjoy the gorgeous view from the huge deck off of the kitchen, which has a BBQ grill and picnic table. The kitchen is fully equipped with an assortment of appliances and kitchen essentials. The main level also has a full bath, laundry, and bedroom with a queen bed. The lower level has a family room with a flat screen TV, blue-ray/DVD player, and a full size bunkbed. Enjoy the huge deck off of the family room, which has a private jetted hot tub and lounge chairs. The lower level also has a full bath and 2 bedrooms.

The Gilded Mountain community offers a paved road to the cabin, as well as use of the clubhouse, which includes a heated outdoor pool, 2 hot tubs, sauna, pool table, air hockey, exercise room and WIFI. We welcome you to Lazy Bear Lodge on your next Black Hills adventure!

Christmas time

We have stayed at many cabins in the black hills and this was one of our favorites. We loved the community lodge available also. Would definitely stay again.

Such a great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at this lodge. Our two kids loved the bunk beds in the basement and fully enjoyed all the toys our place had. I took full advantage of the hot tub while my wife was able to read her books on the main floor by the fireplace. We will be staying here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing Cabin!

This cabin was extremely clean, cozy and BEAUTIFUL! We stayed 3 nights and felt so at home! The check in and check out had crystal clear instructions. There were prompt answers from the property owners for needs. HIGHLY recommend booking for your family/friends vacay!

Family get away

Overall the stay was amazing. The community pool was as great. The view from the deck was amazing. The cleanliness was great. The only complaints are the upstairs bath needs to be unplugged, and the dryer was very loud.

Beautiful cabin, easily accessible and in a beautiful area. Close proximity to Deadwood, grocery & liquor store, restaurants, hiking. What a wonderful, relaxing retreat. I can’t wait to come back!

Great location

The cabin was cute and had beautiful decks. The location was ideal for our needs. However, it could have been a little cleaner. We found dirty towels behind doors and garbage left on the bathroom floor, indicating that it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Also, one of the couches needs to be replaced as it is sunken in and very uncomfortable.

Well kept property. Owners were very responsive when we had a glitch with wi-fi. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and had no issues. Would stay again!

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway

This cabin was perfect for our group of 8. Communication prior to our arrival was excellent. The cabin was nice and clean, had all the amenities we needed, and was so cozy. We loved the hot tub, the beautiful views, and the easy access to the clubhouse. Will definitely be coming back!

Memorial Day Black Hills Stay

Property was easy to get to and clean and well maintained. Plenty of room for our family of 7. Kids enjoyed access to the clubhouse as we all used the heated pool and enjoyed the games inside. Conveniently located to points of interest in the Hills. We were able to easily travel to Lead, Deadwood, Hill City, Custer State Park, and Keystone. All within an hour give or take from the cain.
