There is a private beach path , and conveniently located with additional ramp access to the beach. Relax and enjoy the 180 degree , unobstructed views from the deck. This tastefully decorated condo unit has 5 bedrooms, 4 baths and sleeps 12 comfortably. The added bonus room , pull out sofa can also accommodate additional guests. We only had 4 guests staying overnight at the house. We stayed at this big house for entertaining family and friends who have places around the area. All of our guests were awed by the location and house. The living and dining areas, including the large deck overlooking the beach are beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked for any culinary purposes. Everything we needed for a great experience.

Perfect Deck View

The pictures of the house are all accurate. We loved all the rooms (6 if you use the downstairs) but the best part clearly was the view from the deck. It was AMAZING!!! I could hardly drag myself to the beach because the view was so perfect. So peaceful and the location was perfect.

Fantastic Home for the Holidays

My entire family stayed here over Christmas this year, and the house was perfect for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a holiday meal, and plenty of space to hang out. The sun coming up every morning over the ocean was beautiful (although the downstairs room with the pull-out couch definitely could use some blinds to keep the kids from waking up so early). It was so nice to spend Christmas together all in one place!

Fantastic Beach Home!

John was a great host - excellent communication!! House was very spacious and clean. House had everything we needed. Ocean view was spectacular. We had a group of 8 golfers. Everyone had their own space. Definitely will be back again!

Home is beautiful, spacious, and great view!

The house was everything it advertised on the website. The owner is very accommodating. The location is truly perfect, especially if traveling with children. It is just a few blocks from where the boardwalk begins which is convenient for biking to town, or the shops on the boardwalk. Within walking distance to Kessel's Korner for a quick meal or ice cream. Just walk out the door and your on the beach in minutes!

Right on the beach

The location is absolutely amazing. We have come to Ocean City every year for the past 15 years to visit family and this is by far the best location we have stayed at. There is a unit upstairs that you will most definitely hear throughout your trip but we were very fortunate to have mostly quiet neighbors for our trip (sound machines would possibly help). You also need to bring along ALL of the essentials (which for the price I didn’t expect). I’ve never checked into a rental that didn’t at least have a roll of toilet paper in a bathroom to hold you over until you can get to a grocery store. Just a few things that were a complete oversight on my part that I should have asked prior to our stay that would have made the first day a bit smoother.

Perfect place to stay in OCNJ

My sister and I along with our families have been vacationing in OCNJ for years. We stayed for two weeks and had the best time here. For those in our party who wanted a break from the beach, but still wanted to relax, the deck was PERFECT. And the beach was not overly crowded. The house is spacious and well-suited for two families. The ability to avoid climbing stairs was a bonus! John was very responsive with questions and concerns during our stay. This was the best, most relaxing vacation in OCNJ by far.

It was a pleasure !!!

WOW !! What an amazing experience. This is a beautiful house with great ocean views. The house is very clean and well kept with everything needed for a perfect vacation. The beds are comfortable and the showers are a spa-like experience. It was a pleasure talking to the owner. He responded immediately to any questions I had. I am looking forward to renting this house in the future.

Nice spot but expensive

No toilet paper, no garbage bags but other than that, a nice home to stay in. A little too pricey though, i'd look somewhere else. Also, it's been 10 days and i still haven't received my security deposit.

Close to the beach

This house was clean. And short walk to the beach. John the host is easy to get a hold of answers back in a very timely manor. Some minor issues were, the sofa is not comfortable, the master bed is squeeky probably because the bed is half on and half off an area carpet. Upstairs neighbors dumped water off the balcony and splashed all over my husband below while he was working but this is not a reflection on John at all. Besides the minor things We would absolutely stay again.

Warmly elegant but down/home intimate - rent this home!!

The photos of this property do not over sell it. It is everything a beach loving family could desire. The interior is spacious, airy and while roomy, the home maintains an intimacy that you want when vacationing with twenty-something and teen children. Quiet rest and privacy are a closed-door away and we were not disturbed by our boys' 2:00 am gaming. The home has a wonderful lay out. The balcony is paradise with gorgeous views and the dunes provided lovely walks down the laid path to observe all types of wildlife with the added benefit of a special bonding time with each other. The beach is literally 3 minutes from door to water. It was the first time in 22 years of vacationing with children that we didn't have to pack everything we could think of and worry about bathroom breaks - we were 3 minutes from any necessity. What a freeing luxury! Beach is immaculate. Returning home there is a shower under the balcony for rinsing sand and the area is quite private. Beds and furniture are high end and comfortable . Kitchen has good quality dishes, cutlery, glasses etc. dining room table is nice sized making for a comfortable dinner setting. Central AC kept the home nice and cool. There was nothing that we wanted except more time. John is a gentlemen and very concerned with your comfort. Neighbors were lovely we enjoyed chatting with them. Restaurants are top-shelf and an obligatory tour of the boardwalk was great fun. Fingers crossed we will be able to return in 2018!

Definitely not what we paid for !

This is what should be a beautiful beachfront property with gorgeous views. However it is obvious that the owner takes little care in keeping the place hospitable for such a huge price. Several rooms missing wastepaper baskets. The blankets for several bedrooms were filthy with stains, they should have been donated to a dog shelter, not given to guests paying up to 19K for a week at a summer home. The large area rug in master bedroom has huge gross stains on it. There was an immediate stench in kitchen by sink area - I looked under sink to find a broken leaking pipe with a container under it catching black sludge. The ice maker didn’t work, and sometimes leaked onto floor. From the first day, it was a guess as to which of the three toilets was going to back up (and I’m not talking about number two) - just completely broken toilets. Owner did have the plumber come, but the problem was never rectified properly and the problem was never fixed. We were left trying to fix toilets and play toilet Roulette all week. At the end of our stay owner offered a mere $1500 back on our almost 19K rental price. I had no choice but to accept it. The worst part is I just noticed that he actually only gave me back $1000 —- so he’s still trying to cheap us out! Very disappointing!

It was perfect!!

We just returned from John’s property and it exceeded our expectations from the description; quality renovations with new furnishing. This is our first stay “oceanfront” and we’ll be back, amazing view from our deck and living area. With a 2 month old, and 3 year old, it was really convenient to pop back to the house from the beach.

Stop Scrolling and Start Booking

This property has everything you could ask for. The location was perfect, it was steps away from the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk. The beach at 26th street had a lifeguard stand which was great for our young children. The views from the kitchen were spectacular and the home was well stocked with cooking equipment. It also had smart TVs in almost every room which the kids really enjoyed.

Absolutely Perfect

My extended family take a week in Ocean City every year and we were lucky enough to book this gorgeous property this year. The beach access was amazing having 5 kids and all their gear to tow! Far enough from the boardwalk that it was nice and quiet but close enough that we could hop in the golf cart and do all the boardwalk things. Overall great property, great location & great host.

FANTASTIC location, nice house, missing a few things

Great location, just 3 blocks from the boardwalk, and steps from a wonderful part of the OC beach. House has a good layout and was clean and comfortable for our family and guests (comfy beds, good layout). A little worn, stained master bedroom rug, uncomfortable metal deck furniture, and missing a few beach basics (no beach chairs or toys), scratched pots, tiny coffee pot and slow cooktop...something to be aware of if you like to cook at home. Overall recommend. A few simple additions would have made this a 5-star for our family.

Spacious in a great location

The house was as described : perfectly located, awesome viiews, with easy access to the beach. The inside was roomy and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials. The host was very informative and courteous. Overall a great stay. The only negative experience was with the neighbors: dumping water on us on the terrace below, party past midnight, the sound travels easily between units with the shared elevator.
