Great Cozy Stay

Absolutely wonderful little studio-like place with the charm of an apartment. Host is very wonderful, plenty of amenities to use, nice quiet area. Just enough room for everything and plenty of shelf space for food items as well as a large wardrobe for clothing and the like. Great for getting away from the stresses of the world and just decompressing. Area has plenty of grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a little vacation in the area. :)

Visit with family

Conveniently located to family as well as restaurants and groceries. Enjoyed some downtime sitting in the lawn chairs. Lorri gave us very detailed and easy to follow information. Thanks for sharing your rental with us.

Perfect for what I needed!!

Lorrie was an excellent host! She communicated very very well! It made the process very simple. She communicated very effectively with me once I got there and what I needed to do to check out was posted on the wall. Location was close to where I needed to be I could go walk in the neighborhood and near other places, very conveniently and safely. Super happy

Okay for short stay

Pros: 1.) Quiet neighborhood and property. 2.) Centrally located. 3.) Comfortable bed Cons: 1.) Soap dispensers empty except shampoo and conditioner. 2.) Very dated. 3.) Stove, very rusted, unsteady, dial for oven temp was backwards and couldn't cook so temp was a guess. 4.) Shower had black mold. 5.) Kitchen utensils were hit or miss, no hot pads, faucet on kitchen sink was in the sink...washing dishes faucet was in the way. 6.) Walking from driveway to side entrance had to dodge dog waste....at night it was hit or miss. 7.) Expensive for what you get in comparison to other properties we've rented.

Easy and convenient spot in Sarasota

Our stay worked out great. It's a very convenient spot - minutes from grocery and target, and not far from the airport. The host was responsive and very friendly and did everything to make our stay seamless.

Decent for the Price

I was looking for something economical for our stay in Bradenton and this definitely for the bill. Lorrie was quick to respond to correspondence. The neighborhood is nice. The pictures and description are accurate. The apartment is very small. The kitchen is kind of bare-bones but had what we needed. The accordion door to the bathroom was a nuisance but I can see why they went with that—a swinging door would take up space. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well. I wouldn’t send someone to stay here who is nitpicky about things because I wouldn’t say it’s in white glove condition. But it worked for us this time.

Homey atmosphere!

The hostess was very informative and made our stay very comfortable. The apt. is very comfortable and roomy enough for 2 adults. This place is also very very clean. It also includes a great big fenced in yard in very nice location and also very safe. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

Perfect place for me and my small dog!

Worked out perfectly. Lots of privacy, perfect for the dog to wander in the fenced yard. Shower works great! TV has Spectrum and Ruku! Small kitchen and fridge was all I needed. AC worked well too! Would recommend especially with a small dog. I may be going back again at the end of May!

Just what we needed

We were in need of a place for our son to stay for a few days after moving to the area, and we found this cute apartment for him. Lorrie was willing to let him rent the apartment with very short notice. He was able to stay in a nice area, close to his new job, and we really appreciate it how kind Lorrie was. My son said it was the perfect place.

Adorable! Outstanding little get-away, in a mid-century neighborhood. Total privacy! Fantastic!

I used this little cottage, as a home base (during the off-season) to shop for my new home in Venice. I had complete privacy, a wifi connection (so I could continue to work, uninterrupted,) a mini kitchen to cook in, a front yard so my little doggie could run around, and to make it even better, the owner allowed me to bring back items of furniture I found at the Thrift Store! So even though my things had not arrived when I moved in my house...I still had some dishes and a cool bamboo Love Seat etc...that I could use until my furniture arrived. This was the perfect place to take my time and look for exactly the right house for me. I highly recommend this adorable little get-away!

Quiet neighborhood; friendly host; space was adequate for our needs and private. Great location.

A pleasant stay

This apartment worked well for my husband and I. It has all the basic necessities. With family nearby we just needed a decent place to sleep and shower. The room was clean, nice shower with hot water and NO bugs were seen in the month we were there. It is in a nice area and safe neighborhood. Lorrie is very accommodating and quick to act on any concerns we had. She did not hestitate to install a new air conditioner when we mentioned the old one didn't seem to be cooling as it should.

Loved it

I totally enjoyed the studio apartment. It was clean and provided everything that one person would need. It is convenient to everything and easily accessible. I would highly recommend it and plan on returning next year for Spring Break.

Ideal Studio Apartment

I stayed in Lorrie's and Jeff's apartment with my cat for two weeks. It had everything I needed, including charming, accomodating hosts. The bed was very comfortable; the flat screen TV had Fios; the wifi was great; the shower had tons of hot water; the tiny kitchen was well equipped. The place was very clean. It has an air conditioner, but I used it very little because it cooled down nicely with open windows. There is a huge fenced in yard that his majesty (my cat) and I enjoyed sitting in first thing in the morning and in the evening. The parking is off street and safe. The neighborhood is safe and charming. Everything is close by: Publix, Walgreens, the beaches (about 20 minutes away), and a great community center called GT Bray, which costs $21.40 a month to join. (Bray has a huge heated outdoor pool with lap swimming and aqua fitness.) I truly enjoyed staying in this adorable studio. I just loved Lorrie and Jeff! I would stay here again.
