Private home conveniently located to wine country, San Francisco and the Pacific coast. Walking distance to downtown Petaluma’s unique boutiques, restaurants and groceries.

Petaluma is a small destination town with its original farming community together with modern amenities and excellent features including many bars and restaurants, boutiques, and other local and national businesses. Local attractions include numerous wineries throughout Sonoma, Napa and surrounding areas; Bodega Bay and other coastal destinations along Highway 1; Lagunitas Brewing Company and several other microbreweries; spas and resorts; excellent restaurants and bars that are located from walking distance to neighboring communities to San Francisco.

The home is bright with an open layout, full kitchen, two bedrooms, fenced in yard with deck and gardens. Perfect location for vacationing with friends and family, or for business travelers looking for either short or longer term stays.

Standard rate is based on 2 day minimum. Discounts offered for weekly and monthly stays. Dogs considered, please inquire.

Host was very responsive and was on top of everything! The place was clean, quiet, great for our dogs and we slept excellent every night. That last one is a hard one to get right when traveling.

This was my first Vrbo experience and it was a great one. Connie is so responsive and the accommodations were great. This is a very safe neighborhood and well within walking distance of everything Petaluma’s downtown has to offer. Also, for those of you who cringe at the thought of a sofa bed just like I did, the sofa bed in the second room is unbelievably comfortable. I can actually say I’ve never slept in a more comfortable sofa bed ever and it even rivaled many regular beds I’ve slept in when I’ve traveled. It’s not for a 6 foot tall man, but it absolutely will comfortably accommodate an average size woman, teenager, or child. I highly recommend this home if you’re visiting Petaluma.

We stayed in this house for 3.5 weeks. Our host, Connie, was welcoming and responsive. The location is excellent and the yard was great for the two dogs that our nearby family brought over to visit.

Just what we needed

We go to Petaluma 2 times a year since we have family and friends in Petaluma as well as Sonoma county. This past spring we went to attend my brother-in-law's wedding at a venue not far from the property. We brought our brown lab and the fenced in well landscape yard was very safe for morning routines and brief stroll. The house is located at a quiet residential neighborhood close to the Petaluma Market and restaurants such as Central Market and Della Fattoria (some of our favorites). The host thought of just about everything: the kitchen is well equipped, there are throws for cool nights in the living room and outlets for chargers. We were very comfortable and host was easily reachable when we had a small issue with the key box. Easy street parking and walking distance to Petaluma Creamery and other local favorites. Highly recommend.

Local stay

I had some work being done at my place locally, which required the utilities be shut off a few days, so it was great having a house close to home, where I could also bring my dogs. The house was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The owner also had tons of local information for Sonoma, Marin and San Francisco counties, which was great, since there’s so much I haven’t explored since moving to the area 10 years ago. If I have to have my utilities off again, or have family/friends that need a local place to stay, I’d definitely recommend this house.

Amazing Stay!

we loved our stay at Connie’s beautiful house, as did our two doggos! the fenced in yard was incredible for our pups to be able to run n’ play. the house is in such a great neighborhood that is walking distance from downtown. would definitely stay again, and would definitely recommend!

Wedding Bliss

The property we looked for was a place to stage our son’s wedding day that weekend. It was an 8-minute walk to the ceremony, then a couple of blocks toward downtown Petaluma for the rehearsal dinner. The wedding venue is 14 minutes-drive from the property. We had booked this place way in advance and later requested one more day to the itinerary. Our host responded immediately and accommodated not only the advance reservation but also to add on an extra day at a later time. We were communicated about the change in one of the furniture and if we needed additional comfort way in advance. The property is located in the charming area minutes away from downtown Petaluma. The property is dated with the surrounding neighborhood and is extremely clean. Perfect for a small 2 couples and pet friendly. Large backyard with room to enjoy the beautiful weather. Our wedding preparation was a success in large part thanks to the convenient location of the property and the owner's flexibility. You will love this place. We will certainly request to stay in future dates. Thank you.

Another great stay...

Hubby and I have stayed at Connie's place several times now. It is in a great location, very close to downtown and a nice drive to Dillon Beach and Bodega Bay. It is a nice quiet area and the house is well stocked with most everything you will need. Good selection of spices and cookware. Great place for dogs too. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect set up for pup

Margaret and I very much enjoyed our stay with our 7 month old Black Lab. The home and fenced yard were perfect for us and our dog. The entire set up was exactly what we were looking for in a pet friendly property. As former Petalumans we were very familiar with the neighborhood and found it exactly as we remembered it - safe, quiet with easy access to town and a short drive to Helen Putnam Park. Nice location

This was a cute comfortable home. The location was just a few blocks from downtown. Only downside it is on a fairly busy street. A little bit noisy during the day but the nights were quiet. We would stay again.

Walkability and perfect exit road

This house is a perfect place to stay for access downtown as well as an easy departure to the back roads into Marin and other parts of Sonoma. We would so happily stay here again, actually, we would love to live here! Pretty comfy bed, clean shower, hot water, good pressure, and plenty of space in the living room to stretch out and do your favorite yoga poses after a long ride or hike. Connee was so very communicative and easy to work with. The next door neighbors Jess and Dave were awesome too!
