Recently remodeled 650 square feet studio in quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. Walk to downtown Petaluma and enjoy this charming gateway to the wine country, redwoods and the California coast. All within a half hour drive.

Petaluma is located only 40 miles north of San Francisco and freeway access is only 2 miles away.

The studio is downstairs in one end of the owners main residence and is done in a contemporary style. Enjoy the gas fireplace while you dim the halogen lighting or enjoy the breathtaking views from your private deck.

Feel free to use the owners solar heated pool just a few steps away.

Our rates are $187/night for 2-6 nights, $147/night for 7-13 nights, $127/night for 14-29 nights and $87/night for 30+ nights.
Please note that the VRBO website is not able to quote you a correct rate for a 14-29 night stay, so kindly request a quote and we will send you a correct offer.

Please note that the City of Petaluma has initiated a 10% occupancy tax as of January 1 2016 for all vacation rentals for stays of less than 30 nights. This tax will be added to any quoted price. The owners went out of their way to make us comfortable

We didn’t get to use the pool due to it being winter, but it was lovely and the view is outstanding. We were surprised to find the goodies that the owners left us like eggs, milk, juice, and a specialty bread. Thank you so much for accommodating us in this way

Lovely

It was an enjoyable experience. Very thoughtful touches, from the beautiful artwork, the bouquets and the food treats. The view of the night lights of Petulma is pretty and the morning fog is cozy especially with the electric fireplace! The bed was very comfortable too.

Peaceful escape with fantastic views and host!

A really beautiful place to stay. A wonderful terrace with fantastic views and use of the swimming pool but also with the most well equipped accommodation. We couldn’t tear ourselves away from the terrace and the swimming pool and Claus, our host, was so accommodating and gave us some really great tips and had filled the fridge with goodies. We lucked out on this accommodation a fabulous stay!

Beautiful Petaluma

The property was so clean, quiet and well appointed including fresh flowers. My favorite space was drinking coffee in the morning on the private deck enjoying the Mountain View’s while listening to the nearby birds.

This beautiful studio has everything, including a great view!

This studio is my favorite vacation spot! It is quiet, very comfortable, and equipped with everything you could need. I really enjoyed the patio/balcony, especially the sunrises and morning fog! The host was very gracious and helpful, suggesting activities and dining options. I plan to stay here again next summer!!

Launchpad to many adventures

What a lovely studio in walking distance from downtown Petaluma. The place was great for my husband and I or a long weekend. We were very comfortable and enjoyed all of the little extras that our host provided- breakfast essentials and great pantry staples. He even went one step further to provide delicious artisanal bread (what a treat). We ventured into Petaluma and enjoyed the friendliness of locals who provided great suggestions. The food and beverage scene was diverse and gave us lots of great choices. From Petaluma we drove to San Francisco for an afternoon, visited Armstrong Redwood Preserve, Bodega Bay, and wineries in both Sonoma and Napa. This location made it convenient to see it all. We definitely recommend this location and host.

Nice experience

Very friendly and helpful host. Nice and sunny ocation at only 15m walking distance from town center. Everything is provided in this property as breakfast food and all other features. Very good internet.

Immaculate in every way

I’ve stayed at this property before and am so happy to be able to book it again! Everything is clean and there are many thoughtful touches added by the host. The location is peaceful and close to downtown. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful suite, excellent host

The suite was beautifully designed with calming earth tones. The kitchen cupboards were stocked with everything needed and I was greeted with a delicious Raisin Walnut Ciabatta loaf on the counter and milk, juice and a dozen eggs in the fridge. Claus was an excellent host and walked with me downtown to the Butter & Eggs day parade, sharing all kinds of trivia and historical information as we walked. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

Easy process for hosting family

I needed an extra bedroom for holiday family guests. I rented this for my son and SO and am so glad I did. They loved it and I enjoyed having them near and no† underfoot. Great little touches of hygge!

Cozy and welcoming

Claus really hit it out of the park with his wonderful studio! He’s a great host. It had everything you need- lots of storage for long term stay, fabulous view, great neighborhood. Loved the discount for longer stay. Can’t go wrong!

Highly recommend both apartment and host!

This beautiful studio apartment is one of the very best private vacation homes my husband and I have ever enjoyed. We hope to return soon. The many windows, airy private deck, beautiful slate floor and shower, and comfortable Scandinavian furnishings made the week memorable. Our host welcomed us with unexpected and much appreciated fresh milk, OJ, bread, and eggs. The view across the Petaluma valley to the Sonoma Mountains is breath-taking, especially as the full Moon rose night after night. It was great to have a cozy (hygge!) homebase to keep us relaxed as we explored the area.
