Recently remodeled 650 square feet studio in quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. Walk to downtown Petaluma and enjoy this charming gateway to the wine country, redwoods and the California coast. All within a half hour drive.

Petaluma is located only 40 miles north of San Francisco and freeway access is only 2 miles away.

The studio is downstairs in one end of the owners main residence and is done in a contemporary style. Enjoy the gas fireplace while you dim the halogen lighting or enjoy the breathtaking views from your private deck.

Feel free to use the owners solar heated pool just a few steps away.

Our rates are $187/night for 2-6 nights, $147/night for 7-13 nights, $127/night for 14-29 nights and $87/night for 30+ nights.
Please note that the VRBO website is not able to quote you a correct rate for a 14-29 night stay, so kindly request a quote and we will send you a correct offer.

Loved our stay in Petaluma. Claus is an amazing host and supplies you with everything you need for a cozy stay. Very quiet neighborhood with beautiful views! Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate so we didn't get to enjoy the pool but it is charming. We would definitely book this studio again!

Tastefully designed Studio apartment with well stocked kitchen utensils, etc. There is a private entrance. Fabulous view of the Petaluma hills. Claus was an excellent host. Made us feel at home and had great recommendations for local sightseeing. Very comfortable overall, and we would return to the beautiful Sonoma County in a flash.

We stayed here for a couple of days while visiting a friend in Petaluma. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The extras (eggs, butter, bread, and OJ) were a nice touch. He even bought milk since he knew my son was coming which was very thoughtful. Claus is a great host and I would definitely stay here again when visiting.

Our stay was STELLAR! We were in the area visiting family for a week, with our 7 year old son. The property was perfect for what we needed. Claus was an exceptional host providing recommendations in the area prior to arrival and while we were there, all were excellent. Claus was so thoughtful in every aspect and very timely with responses. Would highly recommend.

The studio was very comfortable and nicely set up. Claus has an eye for details. The furniture was high quality and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay!

The entire studio was more than fully equipped with everything we could possibly want including eggs, orange juice and bread for breakfast. Claus was quick to respond to our every need. He went above and beyond, caring for our dog while we attended our nephew's wedding. My only disappointment was that I didn't have time to use the pool we were so busy exploring Petaluma. We hope to return to such a great city and will definitely stay with Claus again!

Great place to stay

My wife and I had a wedding to attend in Petaluma. The studio was spacious for 2 people. We had an amazing view from the patio and the pool. We would stay there again the next time we are in town.

We enjoyed our stay at this studio. Everything was clean and the furniture and bed were very comfortable. There was some really cool art and decor in the space and everything was well organized. There are beautiful views out the windows. The host was very kind, flexible and responsive and even provided fruit, juice, milk and eggs. Would love to visit again.

Very nice!! Had everything inside you could want.. view outside was amazing ! Lots of extras were waiting for us upon arrival: fruit, milk, eggs, even fresh flowers ! Clean and comfortable.. Our only complaints would be , there was no top sheet on the bed and nowhere for our little dog to potty close.. dog park is down hill & 1/2 mile away. ..Overall , we had a great stay :)

We really enjoyed our stay!Unexpected beautiful views. We were there during the summer and the pool was a real treat. Excellent shower, comfortable bed, and plenty of room for a studio. Klaus is friendly and extremely responsive. The studio is downstairs from the main house but completely private. It’s a great place to stay for a getaway!
