Everything was exactly as described. Host was friendly and very informative! It was nice that there were mini ac split in both rooms and living room so it stayed nice and cool inside in the 100 weather. Kitchen had every utensil/pan and also a keurig. The outdoor shower to rinse off even had hot water, which is awesome. Overall the home is cute, it's in a great spot, and my family had a great experience.

It's wonderful to hear the A/C mini-splits kept things nice and cool during the heat, and that little details like the hot water outdoor shower and fully stocked kitchen made a difference. Felt like home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Joy answered all of my questions prior to our arrival and we felt right at home when we arrived. I would definitely book this property again!

We stayed at Cape Joy Surfside Beach, TX it was a very quiet & peaceful town, the accommodations were fabulous!!

We loved all the small touches in our little house-beautiful, clean and relaxing. We loved our experience at Cape Joy!! Evolve was awesome & there at every turn, we will use them on our future vacations!! Thank you!!

Perfect Spot for an Effortless Getaway!

My kids and I loved our time at Cape Joy. The house was cozy and adorable, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was an easy walk the low-key beach, and we enjoyed visiting the jetty and local hamburger joint! We hope to be back again and again!

JOYful Weekend

This is the perfect beach house for a couple or small family. The house had everything I needed an tons of coastal charm! It’s a short 5 min walk or drive to the beach and close to local restaurants and grocerys. I will definitely stay again!!

Perfect for a little getaway. It’s a cute and cozy place to stay. It’s not a very big place but it was great for myself, husband and dog. Joy was very nice and made everything easy regarding our stay. Will definitely return.

Great quick getaway from Houston

Cute property! Close to the beach. Equipped kitchen, nice space, had everything our little family of 3 needed. Loved the deck. Grateful the property was dog friendly so we could include our senior lab on our trip. Surfside is a special community and we loved our time at the beach.

Cute A Frame!

I have always wanted to stay in one of these tiny A Frame houses at Surfside Beach. They are very small, but we had a small group, so it was perfect. The place was a few blocks from the beach, very cozy and comfy, and the owner was great! We accidentally locked ourselves out once, and she had someone come immediately and let us in! She answered all our questions right away and was VERY helpful. Great stay!!

And, in case you did not know, you stayed in an Aframe that used to be RIGHT on the beach with those others but was moved in about 2005 to save it from hurricane damage, so it is one of Surfside's historical 'treasures', along with the Aframe next door. Weekend Getaway

We loved the CapeJoy house! Easy check in and out. A/C works GREAT! Perfect size with a great full size kitchen stocked with all you may need to cook and eat a meal! Highly recommend!

Wonderful little space with a sweet owner

Joy was very amazing and attentive. She would fix any issues you had with the property. Check in process was easy and the house was so cute and cozy. Made our stay in surfside worth while.
