Beautiful views, perfect beach house for family.

Stated during the holidays with a family of six. Great views, comfortable beds, perfectly located in second row at Pajaro Dunes. Definitely will stay again!

Perfect for families!

This property had an amazing view from the top floor. Located in a private neighborhood, you can consider it your own private beach. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated and layout was perfect for a large group with teens so that everyone has space. AL was a thoughtful and attentive host! 10/10!!

Terrific views and lots to do

We loved our first stay at Pajaro Dunes with great access to the beach and fun activities at the resort. The house had an amazing view, main room was well-lit, and loved the outdoor shower. Communication before and during with Al was terrific and he was especially accommodating with check-in/out times. We found the main room pretty cramped for 10 people, and difficult to go up/down stairs to get to rooms and bathrooms (not misadvertised, just important to know about the layout). Heads-up that you'll need to bring spices, BBQ coals and lighter fluid, and soap/shampoo as that is not provided which was disappointing given the price. Otherwise a lovely house to rent!

Wonderful House in Pajara Dunes

This is a beautiful house located about a 2 minute walk from a quiet secluded beach. The house was just as described and communication with the owner was perfect. The only negative is that it is 3 stories and there are lots of stairs.

Fantastic View

Had a great time here. The kids loved the bunkbeds and the porthole windows that actually open! For me the selling point was the top floor. The views are fantastic, just like the photos show. The fog in the evening ruined the sunsets I was looking forward to but hopefully you willhave better luck . Definitely recommend stopping at a grocery store in town first. We did find some good restaurants in town but its bit of a trek if you have small kids. I would love to return in the future.

Love the beach!

Our family has been vacationing at Pajaro Dunes for many years. Our stay this year did not disappoint. The house had a wonderful view of the beach and easily accommodated our large family. Al was exceptionally easy to communicate with.

Views and close to beach!

Great views, quick walk to beach, lots of stairs (Pajaro Dunes houses are vertical), excellent updated kitchen and main room for gathering, good bathrooms, very helpful host, large TV plus several more, lots of parking. Our three days were a bit chillier than hoped (end of June), but all went well anyway.

Seaside Gem

I never knew this neighborhood existed. It is a seaside gem along the gorgeous Monterey Bay. The houses that dot the Pájaro Dunes look like something out of a storybook. We had a great time watching an otter make his way up the coast just a few yards off of shore. Hunting for sand dollars and digging up tons of sand crabs was another favorite with our kids. We had our own pickleball tournament and enjoyed some one on one basketball at the community courts. The host was very attentive, responsive, and kind.

Beautiful oceanside getaway

Great location to escape the crowds of santa cruz but still be close by to drive there. House was clean and everything worked great. The new upgraded tv was excellent as well.

Oceanside Escape

Beautiful views of the ocean throughout the home. I enjoyed the endless walks on the beach and drifting off to the pounding of the waves. The home was well equipped with anything you needed for a peaceful beach escape. The children enjoyed fun in the sand and investigating all sorts of items the tide left behind. My only suggestion would be to bring a baby gate for the stairwell if traveling with toddlers under age 5. We were able to block access by moving the couch. This vacation home definitely rates as our favorite all time beach get away.

One of the highest decks in the neighborhood which delivers breath taking views of Monterey Bay and miles of coast line. Very well appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the small appliances/pots and pans/plates/glasses/utensils that you'll need. Charcoal BBQ on the back patio worked great for grilling local fish and vegetables. Bedrooms were all clean and very comfortable. Easy to control room temperature on cold nights with individual built-in heaters. Only room drawback was that noise transfers easily from 2nd floor to ground floor bedrooms. Recommendations: new frying pans and wine glasses. Host Al is awesome...took very good care of us from reservation to check-out. Mahalo.

Totally enjoyed our stay here. Unit had everything we needed. Views spectacular, and plenty of room for our family, kids and grandkids! Grandkids loved the outdoor shower after surfing. We saw a gray whale, dolphins and sea lions from the deck!!! Host was very responsive. Thank you so much!!

What more could you ask for?

Our stay was incredible - the location, the view, the house! The beds were super comfy, plenty of space for everyone with multiple floors that feels spacious enough for a group. Stocked with dishes and all kitchen gadgets you could need. Plenty of pillows and extra blankets, Sipping our coffee on the top deck overlooking the ocean was a dream. The community is adorable and super walkable. Al, the owner was INCREDIBLE! He is personable and cares about his guests’ experience. He was quick to remedy anything we needed and was never more than a phone call away. He truly went above and beyond for us during our stay. Pajaro Dunes is a beautiful community and we are so happy we chose to stay in the house for our wedding week. Tons of windows, every amenity you need, right on the beach. How could it get better than that?

Enjoyable stay with unbelievable view

We had an amazing stay with another family (4 adults, 4 kids) that included some enjoyable outside time on the beach and nearby dunes. The house was beautiful and fit our social needs quite well. Would definitely recommend!

Nice get away for families

This is a nice house that fits a larger family, just a 2-minute walk to the beach. The kitchen / living room are on the top floor, providing great views of the ocean. The rooms are nice and allowed us to have 3 adults, a 5-year-old, and two infants with no problems. We plan on staying here again in the future.

Great place. Awesome owner.

If you ever decide to stay at this home then you must know that the owner Al is truly a standup guy. When we arrived at the house we discovered that the cleaning crew never showed up. The house was in complete disarray. Bedding was dirty, towels all over the floor, nothin* cleaned. Bad start for sure. I contacted the owner Al and he was great. He drove down himself, with a good friend, and the cleaned the place themselves. Yeah we were delayed a few hours and pretty tired, but Al’s efforts saved the day and my family and I had a great trip. Al went above and beyond and saved the day. The house is great. The location has a bast ocean view and the beach was amazing. Do not hesitate to book this great home with a very stand up owner! Thanks again Al!

Amazing views and proximity to the beach!

This 3 level home has amazing views and steps away from a wonderful long private beach. We saw whales from the deck swimming so close to the shore. The home worked great for the most part for the 8 of us. It was clean and well stocked. Communication was prompt and clear from Al. It would have been good to have a half bath on the main floor. One of the bath room doors was so tight that it was tough to open from the inside. We had to have someone push the door from outside to open. It was a minor inconvenience to an otherwise incredible stay.
