Located in the heart of downtown Abbeville is St. Charles Cottage, Abbeville's newest B&B property. Originally built in the 1940s, it has been recently renovated and is the perfect setting for a relaxing/romantic getaway. Upon entering the cottage, our guests step onto a simply inviting front porch that beckons them to stay for awhile. The living area of 1100 plus sq. ft. offers a living room, kitchen/dining room combination, a bedroom, bath w/shower and a spacious dressing room. We hope that you will want to share with us the ambiance of our Cajun Culture.

Inviting and relaxing

St Charles Cottage was perfect. It is great for a couple or single traveler. It was very comfortable and relaxing. Debbie is the best and so welcoming.

Great Place to Stay

I was in town for work for three weeks. The house is stocked with anything you might need. It has plenty of space and is in a great location. Debbie was a wonderful host. She brought breakfast every morning and checked in on me. The house was also spotless.

Great weekend getaway

My husband & I stayed here for a short weekend getaway. Debbie was more than accommodating with all the little extras from a small thing of milk in the fridge to toothpaste if you forgot it like we did. There was road work going on when we came in town on Friday & Debbie met us at the Buger King around the corner to guide us in. As soon as we got out of the car at the house she greets us with a hug. We felt her warm welcome from the very beginning. The breakfast pastries were wonderful each morning. We can’t wait to book again but stay longer next time.

Out of town wedding

Love this beautiful old home. Although we didn’t stay long enough to use the kitchen, it was well furnished as was the rest of the home.

Best VRBO in Abbeville

Our annual trip to Abbeville this year was extra special. This property is wonderful. Debbie is a great hostess and truly great person. We will return next March. Thank you Debbie. Give the dogs a hug from us❤️❤️❤️

Perfect for our needs

Everything with the stay was perfect for what we needed. It was perfectly placed and everything with our stay went well. The owner was also very proactive and clear on communication from the check in period to our departure.

Such a spacious & quaint property!!

My first impression walking into this place was "WOW!". I was blown away. So beautiful, so spacious, beautifully decorated with antiques, plenty of linens, very comfortable bed, centrally located. It had everything I needed in the kitchen. And not to mention the owner's sweet gestures of some needed odds and ends in the fridge along with a personal delivery of fresh pastries for my breakfast. :):)

Cajun home comfort

What an exceptional experience! Just returned home and are planning our next visit to Abbeville. Debbie is such a sweet hostess as the memories made there will be cherished and reflected. Relaxing Little Retreat

I stayed at Mrs. Debbie's property as a "mom's retreat" weekend. Everything was so lovely. I loved sitting on the front patio in the morning and curling up on the couch the rest of the day. Special treats were abundant in the house and I wanted for nothing. I would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Weekend

This was such a wonderful place to stay for my Husband’s birthday. The house itself is stinking adorable. There’s a handful of restaurants within walking distance. As well as a Walmart 7 minutes away and Palmetto Island State Park is 20 minutes away, great place to go kayaking. Mrs. Debra is super duper nice and easy to get in touch with. We loved being here.

Located in such a quaint part of Abbeviile, LA. Excellent location stay for events which are held in the downtown area. The B&B is roomy and has everything you could possibly need. So looking forward to a return stay.
