Welcome to your oceanfront getaway in the heart of Bethany Beach! This beautifully maintained 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath duplex (B Unit – North Side) offers stunning panoramic views from multiple furnished decks across four levels. Located just south of Maryland Street, this spacious home features private suites on the 2nd and 4th floors, along with an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area on the 3rd floor, perfect for family vacations or gatherings with friends.

The sleeping arrangements accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably, with a king and queen suite on the 4th floor, a king suite and twin bedroom on the 2nd floor, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There are four full bathrooms and one half bath to provide privacy and convenience.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, blender, toaster, standard drip coffee maker, Keurig, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. Entertainment includes five smart TVs with streaming capabilities and high-speed WiFi throughout the home.

Outdoor amenities include an enclosed outdoor shower, gas grill, and private beach access. Parking is available with a small garage and tandem space for up to four vehicles. Please note, pets are not allowed and smoking is prohibited due to owner allergies.

Rentals are Saturday to Saturday, with check-in at 12 PM and check-out at 9 AM for this unit. Linens and towels can be added for an additional fee of $235. Renters must be at least 25 years old. Additional taxes and fees may apply.

Other properties managed by this owner include homes on Bunting Avenue (unit 289A) and 6 & 7 South Carolina Avenue in Fenwick Island.

What if I have to cancel?
In the event Guest requests cancellation of this Agreement for any reason, Broker will undertake reasonable efforts to re-rent the Property. Guest must make the request for cancellation in writing to the attention of Broker. If the Property is rented to a third party for the same amount, the gross rent will be returned to the defaulting Guest less 15% of the gross rent, plus a processing fee. If the Property is rented for less, Guest shall be responsible for the difference. If the Property is not rented to a third party, then the defaulting Guest will remain responsible for the entire rental amount.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this home for quite a few years at this point and are so very happy every time, at this point it truly feels like coming home! This home is clean, is located within a short drive to anywhere you would like to visit, from OCMD to Bethany, Rehoboth or Lewes or if you prefer, you do not even need to leave the block as it is a short walk over the dune to the Ocean! Easily fits our multi generational family and each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. We hope to continue our stays here for years to come! We have never had a problem or concern and have the utmost confidence in the owner and Wilgus. Thank you for another memorable year!

Reviewer Comments: 8th summer renting here, always clean, beautiful view, walkable to ice cream, popcorn, mini golf, beach bowls, pizza, grab n go taco, surf bagel, fenwick village, fractured prune. Much more expensive than when we started renting here. Bunting Ave has turned into a bit of a boardwalk- constant people, bikes, dogs. Jellyfish have spoiled our visit this year and last, unable to enjoy the ocean in July.

A great house in a great location

We especially appreciate the en suite baths for each bedroom, comfortable beds and the well equipped kitchen. The ocean front balconies are wonderful at any time of day. The location of the house is steps to the beach, an easy walk to restaurants, shops and activities in Fenwick Island and a short drive to other towns and state parks. This is a perfect place for families or groups of friends vacationing together.

Location is perfect, ocean side, easy ride north or south on Rt1, or, if you don't want to leave, you don't even need to put on shoes! Great location- Ocean Front near great shops and restaurants.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This large home is located near many stores and restaurants but it is on a quiet street and the beach. We love being able to walk to get ice cream and breakfast. We enjoyed the back yard and decks. However, the beds weren't all comfortable and the kitchen could have used some basic items, like a cutting board, grill utensils, and more than 3 wine glasses. Wifi was not strong enough and the bedrooms could have used room-darkening curtains as an option. We will be back next year because we love the location and the fact that each bedroom has a bathroom plus the half bath on the living floor, but we hope the owners invest some of our rent money to update the beds and maybe the sofa and kitchen items. The house was spotlessly clean with extra niceties like soap in each bathroom and paper products. Love the outside shower and grill area- a special treat.

Absolutely clean and well furnished! Very comfortable beds and lots of kitchen and cooking supplies! The washer and dryer are large and work well, we enjoyed the grill and picnic table. The back yard landscaping is beautiful. It's an easy and quick walk to the beach path and the beach had lifeguards when we visited. The house is within a 10 minute walk to restaurants, miniature golf, and shops. Our family of 5 adults totally enjoyed this house. It's quiet, you cannot hear the neighbors at all.

Only 8 forks were found and that means constant washing when preparing meals.

summer family beach vacation 2021

The rental sits in an ideal location; beach front with easy access to beach and very short walks to shops, ice cream, and restaurants in fenwick. The property was clean inside and out. The small backyard was ideal for grilling and playing corn hole. The street that Ocean Shoals sits on is great for taking bike rides. The kitchen had adequate supplies. The bedrooms were very simple and had very small TVs for watching television. Several of the windows were very difficult to open and shut. It also has three flights of steps (no elevator).
