Easy check in, awesome snorkeling, location is perfect for snorkeling swimming scuba diving. Enjoyed it very much. Host was extremely kind and attentive.

Place was nice and homey. Very beautiful location and a very short walk to the ocean. Pam was lovely and gave us Mango when we left.

Location can’t be beat, right across the street from amazing snorkeling. Everything was in working condition and owners who live right behind were super kind and responsive. We’ve stayed at many different VRBO’s in Hawaii and noticed that this one was particularly clean bug free. The a/c in the main bedroom kept that room cool. It took us awhile to coordinate ceiling fans and the portable fan to get air flowing perfectly in front of house . But we did and it turned out to be a perfect stay. We would definitely return.

Small & sweet. Loved our stay here. The neighbor hood was quiet and you could walk the very long street every morning/eve and pop in to the beaches along the way. We love the north coast rather than the hustle/bustle of Kona town. Scott was a kind, accommodating host and cottage was well equipped.

The beach was very close by and so easy to get to. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. It was adorable inside and out. It was in a private area with a beautiful view of the mountains from our road and a sandy beach nearby. We will def be returning.

Perfect!

The Mango Cottage was the perfect place to spend our last 5 days on the island. The location is fantastic, the neighborhood is quiet and the cottage is beautifully landscaped and comfortable. Friendly and accommodating hosts made the stay even better. We hope to return soon!

Great spot

Puako is a unique little area on the Big Island. Great climate and snorkelling, with nice house and yard. Owner very nice.

Nice and Easy beach getaway

Every think about our stay at Mango Cottage in Puako was nice and easy. Location just off the beach was a breeze. The cottage was clean and simple. And Scott, the host, was responsive and helpful at all times.

Mango Cottage stay

This was such an excellent place to stay. Location on Puako Rd is a great part of island and super access to snorkeling and shoreline. The Mango Cottage had very nice quality amenities and Rick was so kind and helpful at every turn. I am for sure hoping to plan another trip back to stay at this property. I thought it was a very good value for all of the amenities and location.

Great location, great host.

We enjoyed exploring the area from the Mango Cottage. The surrounding area is just stunning! Great snorkeling right across the street. We enjoyed the comforts of the Mango Cottage-well equipped kitchen, super comfortable mattress, birds waking us in the morning. We hope to return to see the manta rays. Thanks, Scott!
