The house was wonderful and RIGHT on the beach. Just walking out the front door to the beach was so lovely. The views were beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean (which is hard on the beach!) and the check-in process was easy. Communication was great and the host was helpful.

Lovely home, very comfortable, beautiful ocean views. Three couples stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Great location for seeing local popular sites. One small problem was one of two electrical outlets in kitchen didn’t work, causing us to move all needed appliances to one small corner of kitchen, which caused some congestion when prepping meals, otherwise great stay.

The 3rd bathroom is downstairs from the bedrooms. Not real convenient.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry the additional bathroom being on a different level from the sleeping areas was inconvenient. We do state the bedroom and bathroom locations on the listing so guests are made aware before booking. That said, we will happily work to make that clearer. Thank you very much for the review.

Lovely Location

The house was almost everything was perfect. Location was central to everything. The two deck of ocean views unmatched. I would stay there again.

Beautiful beachfront location

We had a lovely stay. The property is right on the beach. The master bedroom has a great view of the ocean. The property is right of the main Rockaway strip, so walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores.

Great location best view

Unfortunately 3rd bathroom was in rough shape needed some repairs but we had a small group so we made it work

There is only one Rockaway Beach

It had been 19 years since myself and grandkids went to Rockaway Beach. It has stayed local and small. Wonderful trip.

Spring Break!

This house has the perfect location and set up. The kids had a blast playing on the beach and going in the ocean. We saw whales right out in front of the house - it was so cool! We were walking distance to town which was awesome. We had a wonderful time!!

peaceful and clean

The view is amazing and I love being steps away from the beach. The house was clean and the beds comfy. It had everything we needed. I love that the ice cube trays were full( sometimes it's the little details that make you happy)!

Access to the beach was amazing. Convenient location for going into town. The cleaning service the management company uses did a very poor job. (Wet towels left in dryer, food left on the floors, beds without sheets, one partial roll of toilet paper left to share between 3 bathrooms, sheets looked and felt unwashed, hairballs left in bedding)

As many reviews state, the location, view and beach access can't be beat! Lots of fun shops and restaurants nearby and easy access to other towns to the north and south. Family room furniture is newer than the photos and lots of seating to enjoy the beautiful view. There isn't a lot of closet or dresser space in the larger bedrooms so we all pretty much lived out of our suitcases. While one bedroom is on the view side, the primary bedroom is the one on the opposite side... ensuite bathroom that's a bit larger. Just a note that the bathrooms aren't ADA equipped if that's a need. Great property for a family stay!

Girl's weekend

Great location and amazing oceanfront views! New mattresses on all beds and newly furnished livingroom were much appreciated. There were 5 of us and everyone was comfortable and the place was prestine. 30 minutes to Tillamook, Cannon and Manzanita. Could use seating on the upper deck and remove the old rusted out fire pit. Would stay again!

Perfect for family getaway

This is a comfortable home with large windows to really enjoy the beach view. It was a convenient home for large family, our stay was comfortable. Everyone had enough room. Three full bathrooms and nice beds/bedrooms. We really enjoy quiet Rockaway and played in the sand and waves the whole stay. All appliances worked etc. We appreciate that the home is pet free for sensitive allergies with a couple of family members. If circumstances allow, we will stay here again.

We paid a pretty high price for 4 of us primarily because we wanted to be in Rockaway AND you had 2 queen beds AND a killer view. We reserved a year in advance. The name of property changed in that year and the new owners, I think took the cheap route.Pros: 2 rooms each with 2 king beds and they were very comfortable The view is fantastic! New oven and all appliances worked very well -except toaster Large TV's in every room. however, streaming type with info only from NY - and NO INSTRUCTIONS! Hubby spent his first day here trying to find the SOCCER FINALS - you might have heard the swearing!CONS: What? one towel for each guest? Bathrooms, OK, but one towel to dry dishes in kitchen? dirty hot pads?, no table cloth?, you cant clean up with a paper towel!!! Stair railings so dirty it was horribly sticky - no cleaners of any sort. Heat was a mass of "pounding sounds"Bedroom had blinds but was so light that we were awake about 5:30***it would very economical to add a few necessities. If we were paying only 300 per night maybe understandable, but we paid over 5000 for 5 nights 1000 per night!!!! IF IT WASN'T FOR THE VIEW I WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR A REFUND AND written A VERY BAD REVIEW!!! PLEASE make it better!

Can't beat the location!

Our family of 6 adults and 2 children (1 and 3) stayed for 4 nights in August. The location of the home was absolutely perfect; you can watch the sunset on the back porch or walk a few steps (down a small path with a few rocks) to the beach.The house itself was very comfortable with plenty of beds, pillows, blankets, beach towels, etc.There are 3 full bathrooms all with tubs. Main bedroom has access to a big deck with chairs and firepit.We slept with the door open and could hear the waves all night long.Kitchen was well stocked with a BBQ on the deck. Washer & Dryer made it easy to do a load of laundry.The town itself is small and you can walk everywhere from the house. We really enjoyed the comfort, convenience and LOCATION of this house.

Review

Loved the location of the home, the view was over the top beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with everything a person would need. What shadowed those wonderful things about the home., one of the toilets leaked, when it rained, water ran from the upstairs through the ceiling, down the window, onto the window sill and onto the floor, we were locked out of the home because the key pad did not work. We were given another code which worked part time so we had to leave the home open when we went for walks on the beach (that felt bad). And finally, I don’t know anyone that would have used the BBQ, it was disgustingly dirty. Would I stay there again, yes but would come better prepared next time.
