Your Guest Suite is located in a private Mediterranean Villa located in the heart of downtown East Sacramento’s tree lined Fabulous 40’s area.

This 650sf three-room suite includes:
- A full kitchen/living dining area
- Bedroom with luxurious queen bed & fluffy duvet
- Office/sitting room to comfortably organize a work day,
- Full bathroom with bath/shower combination
- Living room sofa folds out to become a twin bed to sleep 3rd person/child, however this impacts living space for a tight fit.

best vrbo in sacramento

An excellent suite for adults in a walkable neighborhood.A comfortable 2 bedroom apartment that is well maintained. The host was charming and very attentive.We plan to return every time we visit Sacramento.

Our 4th stay!

We keep coming back to this great apartment. The bed is very comfortable and everything is immaculately clean. This time we even got to enjoy the Christmas decorations in the Fabulous Forties! It's the perfect apartment for us and Marsha is the perfect host.

Our second stay in this great apartment

We stayed in Marsha's apartment earlier in the year and we loved it so we returned. In fact, we have already booked another stay for later this summer. The apartment is clean and modern and it has everything you will need for a comfortable stay.

This place is simply the best

This is a comfortable guest suite in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood, stocked with everything you could need. Marsha is the best host ever -- she really cares for her guests. I've stayed here several times and it's consistently great.

Just like home

Marsha is wonderful. Her thoughfulness was incredible. My son was at Mercy Hospital undergoing a serious surgery. She prayed for him. She bought a gift for him to cheer him up. Thank you Marsha.We were so blessed to have found you. Thank you again!

Relaxing retreat with amazing host!

Charming, personable host of a delightful well appointed apartment. Willing to help make our stay not only comfortable but a memorable stay. Private nicely landscaped courtyard away from street. Quiet, near numerous restaurants and entertainment.

Charming Oasis in East Sac

I had a lovely time staying at Marsha's lovely villa. Marsha was welcoming and accommodating and the villa was perfectly placed with everything I needed. It was within walking distance of wonderful restaurants and an easy drive to the rest of the Sacramento area. I always felts safe in the neighborhood and would often go on runs to the American river. I highly recommend staying here on your next excursion to Sacramento.

Excellent property and even better host

Words are not enough to describe how wonderful this property and Marsha are. The property was super clean with great furnishings and supplies. I have never stayed at another property with so much to offer. Marsha went above and beyond to make us comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend.

Fantastic!

We were delighted with our time in Marsha's villa. The property is wonderfully convenient to central Sacramento, but on a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood. It is very well-equipped and Marsha could not have been been more gracious. We would stay here any time we could.

Excellence in hospitality

My wife and I have stayed in many VRBOs. This rates amount the absolute best. Marsha provides "5-star" furnishings and amenities, and "5-star" personalized interaction. We will be back.

Lovely Stay

My husband and I were on a site seeing trip of Northern California and we were lucky enough to find this gem in East Sacramento. The space was well appointed, located and landscaped. The host was welcoming, she even baked us brownies. I recommend this property. Dr. Lin

Lovely Villa in Every Way

The house is sun-filled, roomy, immaculate, up to date and nicely furnished for comfort and beauty. The surroundings and neighborhood are beautiful and offer easy access to food, fitness and entertainment. We ate in the lush courtyard, which was a pleasure. Marsha, our host and owner is both efficient, and so so nice.

Great apartment, great neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Marsha’s apartment. It is very comfortable and very well-appointed. There is a full kitchen with stovetop, oven, and dishwasher that we used almost every night. The bed is very comfortable, with great high-end sheets. Street parking was always available out front and never was a problem, as it requires a “resident” permit that Marsha provided. We enjoyed frequent walks in the elegant Fabulous Forties neighborhood, with occasional longer walks downtown to the Capitol Mall. We definitely hope to return.

Exquisite Property

I can't say enough good things about this property. Marsha has provided a lovely place to stay while in Sacramento, The furnishing are high quality, the bedding and towels are better than a 5 Star hotel. She provides a nice assortment of water beverages, along with some snacks and coffee. She even brings you a plat of fresh fruit. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

My go-to place in Sacramento

Everything about this place is perfect: a cute little apartment, nicely decorated, comfy bed, full kitchen, access to washer/dryer, I could go on and on. Even the silverware is top-notch! But the best things are the location, in an absolutely beautiful, highly walkable neighborhood in the best part of Sacramento, and the host, Marsha, who really makes an effort to ensure that her guests to have a great stay. I can't recommend it enough!

Great Experience!

This was my first VRBO and Marsha definitely set the bar high. From her pleasant welcome, attention to details, cleanliness and lets not forget the chocolate chip scones, everything was great! Her home and neighborhood were warm and beautiful. I have already recommended Marsha’s place to friends/family and will definitely keep Marsha’s place in mind the next time I visit Sacramento!

My go-to vacation rental

I was so lucky to find this place this spring, and now it's my go-to vacation rental in Sacramento. It's located in the BEST part of Sacramento, within walking/biking distance from shopping, cafes and restaurants. The guest suite is beautifully decorated and very comfortable with everything you could need for a short or long stay. And Marsha is simply the best! She genuinely puts her guests first and puts in a lot of effort to make sure they have a great stay with her. I've already reserved for next spring!

East Sac Sanctuary

This is a special property. From the serene patio to the comfortable living spaces and fully-equipped kitchen, every detail was thoughtful and welcoming. Marsha is a top-notch host. The neighborhood is beautiful; it's a pleasant walk to area shops, restaurants and gardens. Also an easy drive to midtown, downtown and highways. Highly recommended

Cozy in-law suite

This is a book lovers paradise. Marsha is very welcoming and helpful. She is generous with snacks and beverages. The layout of the suite is perfect and nicely decorated. The suite is located on the main floor of the owner’s home with a thin wood door separating the two. Marsha tries to be respectful of one’s privacy. Laundry facilities are in the garage across the courtyard. Didn’t mind that as the courtyard is beautifully arranged with lovely plants.

Ironman Sacramento

The property is located in the heart of East Sacramento, which is beautiful and conveniently located within walking distance of all kinds of coffee shops, markets, restaurants, and more. It's also super easy to get back and forth to downtown. Marsha, the owner, is as gracious and as thoughtful as one can imagine. We were in constant communication with her and the property was fully stocked with everything that we needed--water, snacks, soap, shampoo, shave cream, cling wrap, ziplocks, etc. It was the perfect place for my dad and me to stay and use as our base for Ironman week. With a career in technology, and traveling the western United States, we raised three children in Sacramento, enjoying the many outdoor recreation opportunities and beautiful climate, and accessibility to the world with our stunning Sacramento International Airport. I personally enjoy traveling, cycling, skiing, hiking, reading, cooking and wine tasting.

I strive to offer you the kind of warm welcome, immaculately clean accommodations, and relaxing experience that makes travel addicting... while giving you the comfortable feeling of being in a gracious home. Recently relocating back into the East Sacramento downtown area from the suburb of Carmichael, this location provides walkability to nearby restaurants, coffee shops, bars, parks, and public transportation. I love the walkability and being a part of the blossoming downtown vibrancy, access to the peaceful beauty of the American River Bike Trail, and central location for public transportation and outings to the Bay Area, Tahoe, Foothill and Napa Valley Wineries.
