This is a second floor unit, available for rental, since dad can no longer use the steps. It has 3 comfortable bedrooms and open space from the living area through the dining room into a newly renovated kitchen. It has a classic Jersey shore feel but with updated furniture and central air conditioning! Bedrooms have ceiling fans along with fans in the living room and dining room. Washer and dryer are available. There is a back porch and Weber grill provided for cooking. The best part is the outside front porch for people watching, reading a book, taking a nap or relaxing in the ocean air with a few cocktails. The property has a shared outside shower for rinsing off after returning from the beach.

This property is less than 1 block from the beach and the start of the boardwalk. Our north end of the boardwalk hosts the 1st street lifeguard station with bathrooms and first aid. Close by on the boards is Brown's restaurant, famous for their fresh morning donuts & Anthony's Water Ice for those hot beach days. At the opposite end of the block from the beach, there is a deli, restaurant, pizza shop, and ice cream parlor within 1-3 short blocks.

Sheets provided. Additionally, we offer 6 beach tags, beach chairs and umbrella. There may be some old rusty beach cruisers ready to be taken for a ride.
This rental has it all! Central air, great front porch, linens, basic necessities such as tp, paper towels, laundry detergent and more. Best of all... location, location, location AND you can bring your dog!!!!

This was a great place to stay for our family vacation. It had everything we needed, an amazing porch, so close to the beach and our pup was able to travel with us. The beds were probably some of the most comfortable for a shore house we’ve ever had, and the kids loved their “shark room.”

This was our first time renting via VRBO in OCNJ instead of using a realtor and it could not have gone smoother. Tristan was responsive leading up to the check-in and even checked in work us while we were there. The extras, from sheets/towels to cleaning supplies to beach tags and bikes all added so much value and saved us precious packing space.We had plenty of room with at times 6 of us sleeping in the house, and our kids friends hanging out on the porch at night. Being dog friendly was also a big bonus.We made full use of the kitchen and laundry room and everything worked great.We love the North End of OCNJ and the house is a quick walk to the beaches, Browns, and Berenatos deli.Thanks again for a great week.

Very charming property, very clean, cute beachy vibe without being over decorated. Spent a lot of time on the porch and the street was very quiet and peaceful, especially compared to other places we have stayed. Very bikeable and walkable and near quieter less crowded beach areas. Parking and single shared bathroom were tricky but no real problems.

The house had everything that was needed- including gate for the dog, great temp control with fans and AC, beach stuff, laundry. Parking was pretty easy and the beach at St. James is bigger than others that connect to boardwalk. Owner was accessible and nice to communicate with.

Great stay!

Just a wonderful week! Place was exactly what we hoped for and accommodated our dog perfectly. Less than a five minute walk to the beach! Our two teenagers enjoyed exploring OC on their own and even rode the bikes a few times. Tristin and Tige were very nice and helpful! Highly recommended!

Perfect

Quieter end of town but still able to hop right on the boardwalk. Plenty of outlets! (someone mentioned there wasn’t enough). The photos show bunk beds, they are now 2 twin beds side by side which worked out much better for us. Lol. My husband and I are used to a king bed. Sleeping in a queen would be rough for us. So the 2 twins were awesome:) Great front porch, plenty of living space, comfortable couch and sitting chairs. Plenty of parking available along the street. Super dog friendly house. I’ve already searched the availability calendar to book again!!

Well-Suited for Our Stay

This is an older but updated property that is within easy walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. The home was clean and extremely well stocked with everything from cleaning products and towels to a beach umbrella. We loved the covered front porch and were also happy to have great TV service so we could watch the Olympics when we returned from the boardwalk in the evening. The owners were easy to work with and very helpful both remotely and onsite. Literally the only issue we had was parking because there is no driveway or alley. We highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time at the beach. The house was cozy, clean and location was perfect! Close to boards, beach and restaurants. The owner was more than accommodating . We were able to check in early. She provided a lot which made packing so much easier ! We look forward to renting again!

1 block to the beach in OCNJ

Awesome Memorial Day weekend with my husband and 2 kids. Home is conveniently located 1 block to the beach. Boardwalk has a breakfast/ lunch/ donut shop (Brown’s) a couple blocks from the house. Family friendly block, house came with towels and linens and kitchen was modern. Washer and dryer also brand new in unit. Beautiful front porch with plenty of seating for coffee or after beach cocktail. Loved our stay!

Wonderful beach vacation

The house was very clean and the kitchen is filled with equipment for home cooking and baking. A quick walk to the wide beach and at the start of the Ocean City two and a half mile long boardwalk. Cruiser bicycles were available and added to our enjoyment of Ocean City. We were in the second floor apartment. There is a long set of stairs - for us it added to the visit as we were looking for an active get away. But they might prove a challenge for some.

Great Beach House in OCNJ North End

This is a classic OCNJ beach house. It's original but has been updated and has all the comforts of a more modern home. Very cozy.

Perfect location/perfect stay- highly recommend

Our stay at Tristin’s home was just what we needed finish our summer vacation. We loved hanging out on the porch in the morning and evenings. Clean and cozy with easy access to the beach, Brown’s and all of our favorite spots in the Gardens. She was very communicative and easy to reach at any time. We’ll definitely be back.

Great Stay

Comfortable, clean, pet-friendly place on a quiet street at the north end, but still convenient to everything by foot or bike. Great value - had everything we needed to feel at home for a week. It's not luxurious like some of the newer places, but that's not what we were looking for.

Hello, I am Tristin Thompson, 3rd generation home owner to this property. I spent my summers in this house as a family of 5 with a collie on the 3rd floor while renters used the 1st and 2nd floor. I was responsible for cleaning the rentals on Saturdays before I could go ride my bike or play on the beach and boardwalk. I reside in Kentucky and only get to visit Ocean City for short durations to get the property ready for the summer or to close it down. I've always loved this house, whether I was staying on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor!! (the 3rd floor means attic, lol)

This house is an Ocean City original. It is not a rebuild, so it has the comfy feel of an old fashioned visit to the shore. I have modernized it to today's standards but kept the vintage appeal. The location of this property is convenient to all things Ocean City: the beach, the boardwalk, downtown, and local eateries all without getting into your car.
