Cute quiet studio - near downtown- pool and spa

Quiet 700 sq. ft stand-alone studio located in the heart of the historic Houston Heights. Minutes from downtown and all that Houston has to offer. With wood floors, an abundance of natural light, full bathroom with shower and bathtub. Full kitchen with granite countertops and many essentials to stay in and cook. Desk and desk chair and wifi, perfect for getting some work done. Queen-sized bed, dinette with seating for two, couch, wardrobe, a chest of drawers offers plenty of storage, tv with antenna feel free to bring your own device to plug into the HDMI. There are two balconies that overlook the pool and hot tub. Treadmill, pool and spa are available to guests with 24 hour notice.
I live onsite with my dogs. They are friendly and are very happy to greet you! They are my family and do share the backyard with you. I do try to keep them polite and out of your way but they love guests. **IF you are terribly afraid of dogs or have an allergy or just don't like dogs this is not a good fit.**

It was a pleasant and relaxing environment. Ms Nora was a friendly host with cute dogs that greeted us. Would definitely consider returning. We didn’t get to use the pool or the hot but maybe next time.

Apartment was very nice. Downfall was the listing doesn’t tell you the apartment is actually upstairs above the garage. It wasn’t very quiet while we were there because the neighbors, who are literally outside the window had tree trimming crew all day cutting trees and grinding trees.

Thank you for the review. I do apologize for the tree trimming. Unfortunately, that is part of living or renting in a neighborhood. Even if I had mentioned the apartment was above the garage I don't know if that would have stopped or diminished the noise from the unexpected tree trimming. I hoped the photos would have given a good view of what you see from the apartment, looking down on the pool and my comments about the 2 balconies overlooking the pool and yard . I will certainly fix that detail. There is a lot of information on my profile and description. Including the check out instructions, including turning thermostats up, closing external doors and not leaving wet towels on the wood floor. I'm so happy we could accommodate you at the last minute as your first reservation was for next year. Thank goodness it all worked out!

Love staying in the Heights when I’m in Houston. Very walkable and peaceful with plenty of shops/restaurants to explore. Nora’s place had plenty of room to relax with a comfy bed, nice bathroom, outdoor lounging space and a kitchen. She was very welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again!

This property was great. It exceeded all of my expectations. It is located in a nice walking neighborhood with many older well kept homes and tree lined streets. Felt totally safe. The host was very responsive and easy going. You will enjoy your time when you stay at this property.

Great place to stay

Enjoyed staying here. Owners were helpful and dogs were friendly. Close to family that live in the area. Would stay here again.

I moved to Houston from Chicago in 1992. In 1995, I discovered the Heights and bought a house that is still my home. I've been fortunate to live in this amazing neighborhood and watch it evolve into one of Houston's gems. I've spent most of my time as a sales person and work out of my home. I live happily with my four-legged family.

I love the Heights. Its very eclectic, friendly and so convenient to all of Houston. I love the trees and how easy it is to enjoy our neighborhood. Its a great place when you see so many people walking, jogging, walking kids and dogs, it reminds me of the small town where I grew up.

One of the greatest benefits of the Heights is how easy it is to get to every corner of Houston. Its hard to imagine the quiet quaint neighborhood is surrounded by a major highway system and is only 7 minutes from downtown.
