We love this place and look forward to coming back. The house is older but very comfortable it has that feeling of home. It’s in a perfect location to restaurants, shopping and the beach. The dock is amazing, if you just want to fish and relax it’s a great place to do it and get away from it all.

The home is a little older with it's own quirks but nonetheless its great. The property is located in a beautiful spot and the dock is amazing. We enjoyed just spending a week of doing nothing but watching the waves.Communication is amazing with any issues.

We love love love this vacation home. The house is smaller and older but is is comfortable and feels like home to us. The house has everything you need for vacation and the location is perfect. I would rent this place just for the dock and the views. The dock is out of this world.

The dock was fantastic and the views over the water were amazing. Overall a very nice property to stay.The main downsides were some visible water damage in the house and the outside shower was not connected to water. For the price I feel it was pretty fair for the experience that we had.

Overall pretty good. There was a lot of little bugs crawling around the entire time but the house sits directly on the ground with no slab so kind of expected. The dock was amazing! It’s definitely an older home and could use some updates/fixes but it was a cute little place. Convenience wise it is very close to a beach access that is not very crowded so that was nice!

Dock is amazing. If you are looking for a place to do some fishing or a place just to hang out on the water all day, this is a good spot. We all enjoyed the stay. Older home but everything we needed. Low ceilings so 7fters won't be comfortable. :-) We all agree we would stay again and really enjoyed several days relaxing on the dock and catching fish. Sharpnose Sharks, Bonnethead Sharks, Gag Grouper, Hardheads, Gaftopsail, Whiting, Mangrove Snapper, Flounder, Stingray, Black Sea Bass, Blue Fish. No giants but lots of action.

Perfect Location

Anchors Away is the perfect spot for a vacation! Most of our time was spent on the dock and taking the boat out for fishing and sunset cruises. Having the boat lift was so convenient and we were able to secure the boat at night. I am going to miss having coffee on the dock and watching the dolphins swim and fish jump. Til next time!

The location is perfect for a quiet getaway from the hustle of everyday life. The dock was incredibly peaceful, and we were lucky enough to spot dolphins and manatees while watching the sunset with our family. Truly a relaxing and memorable stay!

Perfectly located for access to the beach and restaurants. The dock and views are amazing! Sitting on the dock watching boats go by with coffee in hand was the best experience!

Nice weekend

We enjoyed our short stay. The dock is amazing. 3 dolphins swam right up under us while we were enjoying coffee. The owner takes special care to make sure your stay is nice.

Location, location, location amazing area, on the river side. Unbelievable dock over the water. Spent a lot of time eating and hanging out there. High end boat lift. We used it to launch paddle boards and to get in the water. It’s really high when it’s low tide. It needs a better ladder to the water. We saw fish jumping, crabs, dolphins daily and an elusive manatee. I saw a sea turtle while paddling. Ospreys everywhere eating fish op in the trees. House is dated but they have done some upgrades. It is a tight space for 9 people, we had 7. The walk to the beach is 8-10 minutes. We had a wagon which helped but there are stairs for the beach access which made it harder. That aside, there is no parking near the access so the beach was empty there. Lots of people about a half mile north and south of where we were but nobody near our access. Sunrise and sunsets painted but God himself. We stayed a Monday to Monday. Such an amazing stay.They also had some beach chairs, 2 blow up paddle boards we didn’t use and some other toys in the shed.

Close to everything and great fishing

So the home is old but very comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. Very close to A1A that will take you to everything important. The matanzas inlet was very nice at low tide , a must see! Nice access to crecent beach just down the road. And a bait shop 3 min away. Loved our stay.

Home was exactly as described. We spent majority of our time on the large boat dock. Neighborhood is quiet and it is easy to acces the beach.

Don't be catfished by this dump the way we were. Its NOTHING like the pictures in the listing. The exterior has not been upkept in what looks like years. The interior of the home is extremely small and tight. It smelled of wet dog. There's no central air. The mini split systems were not operational. Instead there were worn out window units. The televisions are all tiny. The bathrooms are awkward and unsecondescending. In the yard. Metal roofing material strewn about. Landscaping was overgrown and washed out. Rust on doots with holes. Exposed outlets. Etc, etc. It was so bad that my family and I got back into our vehicle and drove home the 6 hrs we had just driven for what was supposed to be a nice vacation. The property manager was rude and condesending.Stay away from Anchors Away.

House was great for our needs. Sufficiently stocked with beach towels and kitchen tools. We had an issue with the heating and they quickly responded and went above and beyond to fix the problem. Property is conveniently located close to the beach and historic St. Augustine. The yard was great for the kids.
Within walking distance, or equally close is a nice parking area, handicap accessible, with beach access and outdoor showers.

This place was perfect for our needs! The inside wasn't super big, but we spent most of our time outside so that was ok. The screened front porch was perfect for enjoying fresh air without the hassle of bugs. The boat dock was by far the best asset. We saw so much wildlife including dolphins everyday, so many birds, a shark and a manatee. It was great for fishing too! Caught jacks, drum and catfish. The yard was very big too which was great for enjoying cornhole and of course our dogs loved it! I highly recommend this place!

Loved the location

Very quiet and peaceful area. My favorite space was the screened in porch, we loved playing games and working on puzzles.
