Great house for family

The house was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed for a family Thanksgiving. The location was great, just a short bike ride to the beach.

Nice family home

We had a very nice stay. We had several infrastructure issues, but they were all handled quickly and professionally

Beautiful property, great time

The house is beautiful, clean and with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Plenty of room for entretaiment, the description is accurate. We had a great relaxing time. Check out was fantastic.

Huge place. Great location.

This property is huge. Looks just as big in person as in the photos. Located right on the bike path, so very easy to hop on bikes to the beach and around the island. Nicely decorated and very clean. We all had a great time!

Beautiful home

Perfect home for a family of 8. Very spacious and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need. Beach is a close bike ride away.

We've notified our team of your comments so that they are able to investigate and address accordingly as needed. We always do our best to keep pests outside, but being the wooded barrier island that we are on, one or two do inevitably tend to get past those barriers. Better than expected

This was by far the best stocked rental we have ever had. You could want for anything and it was in this house. Very clean, spacious, very comfortable. Would recommend highly. 5 stars.

Property was in terrible shape and there were spiders and other insects all over the house. Commonly had to sweep a room for spiders before letting our kids enter. Outside of the house had several massive spider webs that could've easily been taken down with a broom or power washer, however my sense is that an owner/property manager hasn't visited the home in some time.Would also call out that renting this property does not give you access to resort amenities on the island, which wasn't clearly communicated in listing.

While we appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback, we do feel the need to clarify a couple of points. Upon your call the day after arrival, our team simply communicated our cancellation policies which were met with profanities and uncalled for responses. We understand disappointment in not hearing answers you agree with, but we must always request respectful communication with our team. To be clear, these policies, as well as our guests' restrictions from private resort amenities (public amenities such as golf, tennis and restaurant reservations are still available) are sent to you via email immediately upon confirmation of your reservation. We are always more than happy to assist any concerns that are brought to our attention, but were not made aware of any pest concerns during your stay and have none noted by any recent guests. The home does undergo quarterly treatments to prevent as much as possible, and no current issues were noted upon your note.

Family vacation

Overall the property was nice! Very good location! Upon entering we had issues with the keypad..there were a lot of cobwebs on the outside..the TVs kinda hard to navigate (sometimes being dependent solely on the internet isn’t a good thing!) The house was well stocked with utensils, plates etc…The issues we had during our stay Akers properties were quick to take care of(which we greatly appreciated)!
