A Beachfront Beauty! Sunchase Beachfront #234 is a beautifully decorated three bedroom/two bathroom condominium! Guests can experience breathtaking ocean views from the oversized balcony facing the beach. The balcony has new patio furniture, providing you with a comfortable space to enjoy sunrises over the Gulf of Mexico! The living and dining areas are all large and offer guests plenty of seating room to relax. There is cable TV that includes Redzone and the NFL channels for you to enjoy. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and the kitchen faucet features a filtered water system that is drinkable straight from the tap. The master bedroom entails a King size bed. The first guest bedroom entails a Queen size bed and the second guest bedroom entails two Queen beds making a comfortable accommodation for eight people.

Sunchase Condominiums has many amenities for you to enjoy during your stay including a great pool area! The pool is heated which makes it the perfect spot to relax year round! There is a private beach access with a coded gate and wash off facilities at entrance/exit. The gate is only 50 yards from your condo. Watch out for the SpaceX Launches! Our condo is a short walk to the southern end of South Padre where you can see a front row view of the rocket launches!
There is access to a large indoor gym, two indoor racquetball/hand ball courts, and two outdoor tennis courts. There are outdoor grills available for use and even a fish cleaning station! Sunchase Beachfront also features a coin operated laundry facility with multiple machines for your convenience. The facility is just 30 feet from the condo. Wifi is provided by the condo complex in the common areas only (pool and grounds). Free WIFI is provided inside the condo for guests. Sunchase Beachfront is also gated for extra security and is staffed by 24 hour security.

OMG

Our stay was awesome. The view of the beach from our living room was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The patio was great in the evenings . East beach accessibility and the pool was great. We enjoyed our stay so much we asked for a extra day and were quickly accommodated.

Great trip-bad rental

The overall island and beach was awesome. Condo was trash. Zero water pressure all week. No door key as backup when key code lock fails for an hour—-locked out in 120* sun. Breaker for microwave, toaster and coffe maker out…. Can't access panel. Walls and floor boards filthy and need paint. Lights not working and fans broken. Tv system is over complicated and doesn't need 5 remotes. All mattresses weee broken and need replacement. Had to wait 3 hours to check in in car day 1. Next rental will be through SUNCHASE.

Here are some good and not so good. Good: Location Steps away from the beach Great communication with the property management Pool is right outside the front door. Great space for a family. Not so good: Place is outdated and needs some serious work. Master bath had a huge water damage on the ceiling that possibly has mold under. The stove is really old and the oven takes a long time to heat up. We tried to overlook the negatives and still had a great time. If this place gets fixed, we will definitely be back.

Great stay!!

This property offers everything you need to have an awesome escape from daily routine. The beach is literally within walking distance and on the way back you can dump yourself on the heated jacuzzi or hangout at the pool. Our stay was for four days and we didn't have to replenish any toiletries or dish soap. It is completely equipped with all you need for cooking. Although there's no wifi at the property or cable service, the complex has wifi that is pretty strong and you can use it at some spots inside the apartment. Overall it's a great place to go with your family and friends to create beautiful and memorable moments!!

Nice condo.

The condo was incredible. Very sapcious, very clean and a great view. We did however have some issues. I was never told to send a picture of my debit card so when we arrived we did not have gate code/door code. Contacted booking agent and it got handled. We then got to room and the code didnt work. Had to wait for maintenance. They let us in buth ad to come back later to reprogram code. We also let them know that the wifi was not working. He told us they would bring a new router the next day. The weather was bad (nobodys fault) but we were stuck in the condo with no wifi. When I called the following day to ask when they would be coming we were told it would not be duering our stay, so we had no wifi the entire stay. Overall it was still good, but it was a little frustrating that it was listed with wifi and that was something we could not take advantage of.

Below Average

My main concern was we did not have AC that cooled the unit the first 24 hours, causing frustration for the whole family and making us have less enjoyment of the visit due to AC repair team to come in and out to fix AC unit.

AMAZING

This unit was beautiful. Lots of amenities as far as the kitchen utensils, bag chairs, etc. Honestly the place was amazing! Our Airbnb cancelled on us 8 days before our trip and the saying "everything happens for a reason" in this case was so true. We woke up and walked to the living room for the most amazing sunrises you'll see on the island. The unit is between the two pools. The upper pool is heated and has a HUGE hot tub and small wading pool. The front pool is not heated, but is also less used which was great for poolside hanging out with our group of six. There were limited chairs at this pool but definitely not the fault of our unit owner. You had a short walk to a beautiful covered path to the beach that we walked daily. The condo location was in a great spot at the south end of the island closer to the bridge. Once inside the complex you couldn't hear the road noise at all. The only sort of downfall about the unit itself was that two of the bedrooms had great beds. The third room with the two regular sized beds, neither were comfortable. I hate to even mention as truly the unit is so absolutely gorgeous and well taken care of but it is something to consider as we were there for 8 days. The entire complex was clean and very well maintained. There was a decent size exercise room and sauna we had access to as well. There were six adult family members in our unit and we had family stop in to see it and we were never crowded. The deck with seating for at least 6 and an electric grill was awesome. We spent a lot of time out there. All in all it truly was way better than we would have had and an incredible vacation. Thank you!! On an side note and to hopefully help future renters I'd say use the SPI Rentals directly over Airbnb or VRBO fees are much lower. That being said, I'd also mention the check-in (again NOT the fault of the unit owner) was at best difficult. It was evening after a long day of travel, We were tired and frustrated in finding our unit as the instructions were terrible and there is virtually NO signage once on the property. From turning into the parking lot (horrible signage there), to finding our unit took over an hour. The Sunchase Beachfront unit is part of a complex. It was originally intended to all be owned together, however they went bankrupt and it became three properties. The hotel is out by the street and called Suites by Sunchase, the center horseshoe shaped complex is the Sunchase IV and the units closest to the beach, also horseshoe shaped, and are called Sunchase Beachfront. SPI gave us a map of a horseshoe shaped complex without explaining to us there were two of these complexes inside the gate that were shaped like this. They also had us sign in off property and then we had to check-in again once we got through the gates, which also had no explanation in how to get in and no lights in near or around the small typed instructions on the gate opener. We then went to three offices on the grounds once inside the gates. There are no signs telling you which desk to sign in at for your specific complex/unit or which way to go to get to which units once inside the gates. Even out of the car you literally had to shine a light on the doors to check unit numbers. We finally ran into someone who explained where the office was, but we had to call someone to meet us there. So, SPI Rentals would do well to put together better check-in instructions for new renters. Again, I'm just trying to explain the check-in and this is NOT a reflection on our unit owner. Bottom line, this unit gave us some new incredible family memories. Thank you so much!

Amazing place to stay

This condo was awesome! First impression is everything, my family gave me an A+ for such an awesome place for vacation! The condo was very spacious, clean, and accommodating! The location was perfect next to the beach, restaurants, and stores. The amenities such as pools, hot tub, and gated community was excellent as well! Thank you, highly recommended!

Sunchase Beachfront

We arrived on a Saturday. Check in was at 4. We were not able to get in until 5:30, due to the previous guests lost/misplaced a cell phone. I was disappointed due to not receiving a courtesy phone call. When we got in there was a hint of cigarette smoke. The rental agency rep informed us that there are no towels in the master bath and we were told they would bring them by. There was a broken light fixture, that was yo he replaced. That did not happen. In regards to the towels, we had to call them on Monday to bring some to us. On Sunday I was on an excursion with my family when I received a phone call from the rental company. They were asking permission for the owners to access the condo to look for the lost/misplaced phone. I didn’t feel as if I had a choice to decline the request. The condo overall was located conveniently off the main drag. The walk to the beach was quick, in addition to food establishments. The condo was equipped with the kitchen necessities. The master bedroom mattress was a bit too soft for our taste. The condo in itself was spacious. There were 7 of us and all had room to move around.

Great Place

Had a wonderful stay at Sunchase. Unit was clean, overlooking beach, and beds were very comfortable. Unit was well supplied with easy access to beach. The outdoor facade needed some sprucing up (looks old and worn)Pool needed some cleaning as did bathroom floor tile but would definitely stay here again.

Convenient to the Beach

The inside was nice and clean with a well-stocked kitchen. Beach access is close and easy, and we could watch the waves from the front windows and balcony. The furniture is a little on the worn side, and the property outside could use some tcl. We enjoyed the pool and spent a lot of time on the beach. The outdoor shower to wash off sand helped us keep the apartment cleaner. We were walking distance to good shops and restaurants.

Nice Location, Nice Place, Great Weather

Overall we had a wonderful time. The place was clean and generally things worked. We were disappointed that the jaccouzi was not working since that was one of our main attractions. Also, the dishwasher needs to be replaced as it is super old and most of the tines on the racks to hold the dishes are broken already. Lastly, it's a bit confusing from the pictures that the washer / dryer are actually on in the condo, they are shared and require quarters which are hard to come by during COVID-19 since no one is willing to give them out. Lastly, the grill on the balcony is electric and doesn't really get very hot -- takes a long time to grill anything. The place is kid friendly and all of the other guests staying on the property are super nice. The grounds are clean and the private entraces to the beach are super convenient. Also nice that it's right next door to the McDonalds, which is one of the few places around there that one can get coffee at 4 am :)

Clean condo, great location.

Nice accommodations, and the perfect location. It's part of the beach front condos, so entry into the room is from the outside and isnt indoor hotel-like, which was important for us while visiting in a Covid surge. The ocean view is great and the walking to the beach is a breeze.
