Escape to the beauty of Northern Michigan in this charming log cabin nestled on 22 private wooded acres. Located just two minutes from Crystal Mtn and the scenic Betsie River, this peaceful retreat offers the perfect mix of privacy, comfort, and adventure. The cabin features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, two living areas, and a game room. The property provides plenty of space to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature year-round.

The cabin is equipped with A/C, Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, Weber charcoal grill, air hockey, foosball, pack-n-play, smart TV's, snowshoes in the winter and lawn games in the summer!

* Please note, the king bedroom is in the expansive loft and open to below.

* There are two staircases in the cabin, so please consider this when traveling with young children.

Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa is just two minutes away and offers endless activities to keep everyone entertained! Enjoy Crystal's highly acclaimed golf courses, downhill skiing and spa. Other activities include indoor/outdoor pools with a splash pool for the little ones, mountain biking, alpine slide, ropes course, zip line, hiking trails, Michigan Legacy Art park, fitness center, two restaurants and a pub.

In addition to Crystal Mountain, you are just minutes to the Betsie River, snowmobile trails, Cherry Bowl drive-in movie theater, Point Betsie lighthouse, Lake Michigan, St. Ambrose winery, Iron Fish Distillery, Crystal Lake, Frankfort, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Traverse City.

Great location in a very peaceful setting. The cabin was clean and very user friendly. Most attractions and things to do within a 30 minute car drive . Enjoyed the stay very much and would gladly return again.

The perfect winter get-a-way!

Our family loved the thoughtfully decorated, cozy cabin and close location to Crystal Mountain. The game room, open floor plan, and snow shoes were perfect for family time.

Best little family vacation

We brought our 4 kids to stay in this cozy little cabin in the woods all the way from Houston. Our kids cried when we left- we made so many great memories! It was clean, comfortable, and so much fun!

Great getaway

This was a perfect getaway for our family of 4. Cozy and very clean, secluded but very close to Crystal Mountain. Great wifi so our kids could do e-learning all week. Kids loved the bunk beds and air hockey and we all enjoyed being in the yard and making smores every night. We hope to come back!

September Fun

We had a great time at the cabin and was able to fit in a kayak trip on the lower Platte River. A beautiful cabin in a great location! The owner is very quick and helpful in answering questions. Would certainly recommend staying at this rental! So clean and well stocked! Thanks for a wonderful time!

Great Cabin!

If you are looking for something in the Thompsonville/travers city area this is your place! Wonderful cabin in the woods, yet close to Crystal mountain. Spotless, plenty of room and equipped with everything you need. DO NOT hesitate to rent for a few days or weeks, I promise you will love it!

Fantastic cabin close to Crystal Mountain!

We had a great weekend at Amy's cabin. We were able to snowshoe on the property and play air hockey in the basement! The cabin is minutes away from Crystal Mountain and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks!

ADORABLE!

This cabin is an absolute gem. My whole family had a ball here. We were able to play outside in the snow and then come in for hot chocolate and family game night. The fact that it was just a minute from Crystal Mountain was FABULOUS! We would love to stay here again.

Magical Cabin in the Woods

This authentic log cabin in the woods is a peaceful retreat yet so close to Crystal Mountain amenities and local breweries and restaurants. The cabin is clean, cozy, and decorated with a cute cabin theme. It’s a wonderful place to get away and relax. Amy is a responsive and great host! We had a wonderful time!

We really enjoyed our stay

This house is in a truly wonderful location with many fun activities in the area. It sits in a quiet, private wooded area. It is clean, spacious and air conditioned. Our kids were so pleased with the basement and the toys that were provided. The kitchen is clean and had whatever we needed. A washer/dryer would've made this place perfect. We would stay here again.

We really enjoyed the home and the location.

The home was very clean and in a wonderful location. One suggestion would be adding a railing on the basement steps. A must for people that have difficulty with steps. Thanks for all your assistance!!

Perfect cabin in a great location

Fantastic weekend getaway. We chose this log home mainly for its location, and it did not disappoint. Although we were maybe a week early for peak colors, it was still beautiful. Im pretty picky about the places we stay, and the Cabin was exactly what we were looking for. From early pre trip contact with Amy, through final checkout i cant say enough good things about the host or the stay. Privacy, location, authentic log home, what more can you ask for. The biggest issue we had was not wanting to leave 🙂. We will surely return.
