220 Whittley - Avalon Home. | Beautiful Avalon home nestled in the heart of town within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and all entertainment. Featuring 2,393 sq. ft. of living space with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and sleeps up to 8 guests. | Built in 1915 (fully remodeled in 2000) and retains all the island charm that Catalina has to offer with a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of cooking space and all the essentials for a large group or family. | This home also features a private balcony with lots of seating for everyone and a propane grill. QUIET HOURS: 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (use of outdoor areas strictly prohibited).| The closest grocery stores are Vons, Abe's Liquor Store and Vons Express. Nearby coffee shops include Ben's Bakery, Catalina Coffee & Cookie Co and Cafe Metropole. Close to all front street restaurants and nightlife. 220W | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).

This place was clean, spacious, and had great AC (that was not listed which was a nice surpris). It's a little walk up the hill to get to but a perfect place outside of that.

This was such a cute spot! It was clean, fully stocked with everything we needed, had amazing views from the balcony, and was very comfortable. The best part is that it was a 5 minute walk from the center of town, beach and swimming areas, and a 15 minute walk to descanso. I would stay here again!

This property was just right for our group of 6.The location to town is very convenient. The house was clean and the kitchen well equipped.The big front deck with the view of Avalon harbour is where we spent most of our time. One of the table umbrellas was broken when we got there and it would be nice to get that fixed for more shade on the deck. All in it was a very comfortable house that suited all our needs and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

The house is great for a large family or group of friends. It’s very spacious. With two separate living areas and three full bathrooms. The house could some updates. A couple of the couches are rather worn. Location is great with its proximity to town. There is a big hill to get to the property so be prepared if you are carrying luggage from the ferry. We had a Plumbing problem, but it was due a city sewage spill, and the host immediately responded. We would definitely stay here again. In fact one in our group is already planning a return trip.

We arrived at our rental in Avalon to find that none of the toilets were functioning normally because of a known plumbing problem. Buckets had been left beside each toilet without explanation, and we later learned we were expected to carry water from the sink to manually flush them for the whole of our 3 night stay.The maintenance manager was incredibly rude and dismissive of our concerns, including when I explained that my 81 year old mother would have to carry buckets of water during the night. His response was "well, that's what families are for, right?", but it's actually what functional plumbing is for. We also learned that the plumbing problem was known before our arrival, but we were not notified or offered another property. The garage door opener also stopped working during the trip, limiting access to the amenities inside.To her credit, manager Camina later called, was polite and professional, and provided a partial refund. I appreciated that, although I do not think it fully reflected the seriousness of the situation.I understand that maintenance problems happen. My issue is primarily with how this one was handled. A rental without normally functioning toilets should have resulted in a repair, relocation, or a more substantial refund.

Relaxing few days in Catalina

Uplifting place to stay: bright, spacious , well decorated and well-equipped. Especially loved sitting on the deck in the morning and enjoying views of the ocean and the town.

Great weekend getaway!

Cozy home near the beach. Lots of space and amazing kitchen! Cooked a big breakfast one morning and made steaks on the grill another evening.

Perfect house for family or couples/friends!

Stayed here for the Avalon 50k/50mi race. Rental company was awesome, friendly, super understanding. House was better than the pics, location was great! Would def stay here again.

Beautiful view, short walk to downtown

Great place! Could use at least 1 hair dryer and a golf cart would be great! We had a great time, got some great weather too!!

Great property. Very clean and organized. We loved all the beach themed decor around the unit. The kirchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook. Beds were very comfortable as well. Our only complaint is that it is on a hill and some of the older folks from our group had a tough time with that.

Avalon fun

Our stay was fantastic - beautiful house to celebrate a couple of girlfriends special birthdays. Six of us comfortably stayed in this beautiful place. Other than the hill (which was definitely manageable) the location is great to get all around the island. Truly enjoyed our stay at this terrific property.

Great location and spacious!

This house was great for our family Easter getaway. Plenty of room for 8 of us, amazing kitchen, living area and balcony with the best view! Check in process was easy and everything was super clean. It is located on a hill so the walk up to the house was difficult for some but we all can’t wait to go back!
