This is an affordable location where you can walk to the sugar sand beach and stay parked at the house. Sun drenched rooms with bright cheery decor. Cable and wifi are included. Recently renovated with hardwood floors and new appliances. Retreat to the spacious master bedroom with flat screen television. Enjoy the sunset with an afternoon libation from the widow's watch or relax with a morning cup on the screened in front porch. New landscaping designed to give the most privacy.

Family Week at the Beach

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the Dawg House! The location is great, the neighborhood is quiet, the house is exactly as described, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We walked to the beach every day. Just a really great trip!

Relaxing stay

Easy access to the beach. The house was clean and spacious and the property manager was very responsive when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house. Tip: leave one key in the lockbox so you don’t get locked out. ;)

Perfect family vacation

The property owner and his sister are fantastic to work with. The check in and out process was super easy and we were all impressed at how clean the house was. We will definitely be back!

Good Beach Week

Home was priced very well for a weeks vacation. My family and I enjoyed the location which was very quiet and relaxing. We all enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave. We would rent this home again in the future

Loved Sunset Beach

Great experience, close to the beach access, all amenities. A grill would have been nice, but they do have them for rent on the island. Beach was clean and well patrolled. Great relaxing vacation

Hated to leave!

Beautiful home - very clean and up to date. Kitchen well-equipped and gorgeous. Love the screened in porch. Bedrooms are large - bedding is comfortable. Lots of room for kids to play. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect beach house!

Dawg House is a perfect location for an easy walk to the beach. The house is clean and well-maintained. The owner was very responsive to emails. We loved our stay!

WONDERFUL!

This house is very well maintained, clean and in the perfect location to walk to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and the beds are very comfortable. I highly recommend this house and we will definitely try to reserve it for future trjps to Sunset Becah. We really enjoyed our stay!

A family vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were good size- primary bedroom was very spacious. Great room in the center of the house had plenty of room for all. We took our cabinet locks & eating items for our 2.5 year old grandson- otherwise the home was set up well for a toddler. Screened porch rockers were the place to be to watch the night sky.

Loved our stay

We had a great time a Sunset Beach. The Dawg House was clean, comfortable, and quiet relaxing. It was as advertised. We arrived a bit early, met the gentleman cleaning, he was very polite and thorough. We went shopping for our weekly supplies, when we returned he was finishing up. Great time! Communication with the owner was great as well. I would highly recommend it!

Smells

My partner has a very sensitive sense of smell. This house was perfect in that there was almost no odor present. The time was a true delight!!!

Just Perfect!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Dawg House. It was me, my husband and our 2 yo daughter. Very safe distance away from beach access but close enough for us to walk straight to the beach. We were so sad to have to leave early because of the incoming storm but hope to be back at Sunset next year. We'd certainly rent from Bob again and Nancy was so easy to work with!!!! Thanks for letting us borrow your home for our family vacation!!!

Great place, just as pictured

The "Dawg" house was perfect for our small girls' weekend getaway. House was very clean, and just as pictured - the perfect size for our group of three (and could have definitely accommodated more). We had great weather and enjoyed a cocktail each evening on the elevated porch and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook in each evening. Bob was very responsive both before & during our stay. The weather was great and we really enjoyed long walks (including one to leave a message in the Kindred Spirit mailbox) and relaxing time on the beach. We will definitely return.

We love the Dawg House

We loved staying here, not a far walk to the beach access. It is a trek once you get to the beach access to get to the beach but overall worth it. House was very clean we will be coming back. Only thing we had an issue with was the cleaning guy was suppose to be gone by 3 for our check in. He wasnt gone until almost 5 so we had to find something to entertain the kids. It wasnt horrible though and we really enjoyed the time.

A dream come true

I honestly don’t think the reviews explain this property well. It was a dream come true for my family.We literally couldn’t have been happier.Everything about this home was perfect.This was our first visit to Sunset beach but I sure hope to come back.We usually go to Florida but I will say that SSB is up there with our favorite plus much closer to home.I am struggling getting back to real life since we have been back. I just want to be back at the Dawg house! I highly recommend going to Kindred Spirit while there.I bought the book-Every Breath(Nichols Sparks)before we left, read while there and finished today.It is about Sunset and it will pull at your heart strings.I honestly can’t say enough about this place.It just felt like home.I also thought it was so nice that Bob sent an email wishing us a safe trip home. You will not be disappointed.
