Windward at the Regatta is a two bedroom, two bath condo with accommodations for six in Newport. You'll get your share of breathtaking views from this brand new condo located just south of the Yaquina Bay Bridge. This vacation condo boasts views of the bridge, Yaquina Bay, and the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy crisp sea air mornings and peaceful evenings filled with the sounds of passing boats, birds, and sea lions. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and hardwood floors. Watch the activity in the bay from the dining room while enjoying a nice meal. The living room has brand new comfortable seating for all and a fold out sofa sleeper for the evening. The second bedroom has a queen bed, plenty of storage, and is perfect for two. The primary suite boasts a luxurious California King bed with beautiful decor and is the perfect place to relax. One of the highlights of this vacation home is the Jacuzzi tub. Set in a windowed alcove with views of the bay, it's absolutely fabulous! The luxuries of this condo make it an excellent choice for your small group getaway. Windward at the Regatta is close to the famous Newport Aquarium and the exciting Nye Beach area. Come down to Newport and see this beauty for yourself! Condo is on the second level there is a elevator on site.

Check in was straight forward and convenient. Accommodations were excellent and clean with spectacular views of the water. Kitchen and living room were together with a very nice patio for viewing the sunset.

Lovely and relaxing

Very comfortable, relaxing and beautiful condo. Tastefully decorated, nice location, fabulous view. Love the view from the living room, master bedroom and bath. Spacious. We plan to come back for 3 nights in the future.

Relaxing stay

Had all the amenities and convenience of home. Restaurants and shopping nearby. The view of the harbor was unobstructed. Would definitely stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation home was the perfect location for our weekend at Wine & Seafood! Walking distance from the festival and close by friends made this so convenient, and we didn’t have to drive anywhere! The condo is an end unit, with an open concept and lots of windows, which made it very spacious! Absolutely beautiful! We’ll definitely rent this condo again!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vacation rental had not been clean when we arrived at 4:00 in the afternoon. Dirty sheets on the bed, dirty towels piled up on the bathroom floor and the floors had not been cleaned. It was very disappointing to walk into the place and see the condition it was in.

Best in Newport

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is lovely, warm, well equipped and has a drop dead view. With a few adjustments, it would be perfect. We were disappointed to find that neither the ice maker nor the dryer were working. The previous tenants mentioned it in the guest book, so we knew the problems had been on going. These aren’t deal breakers but we were not notified in advance and we expect to receive what we pay for. Sadly, the windows were filthy with bird droppings and dirt. It was distracting from the amazing view. That’s not a tough fix and should have been done. Yet, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the rooms spacious. We hope to return. We also hope that the problems are corrected.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this condo for the past four years, this same time each year, we have rented it the last two, our friends the first two, we we love the location. This year when we arrived, 1. I had to wipe the refrigerator out, there was something that looked like coffee grounds on two shelves and on the drawer handles all the way down😕 2. The coffee pot was full of used coffee grounds. 3. We emptied the dishwasher when we arrived. 3. Some dusting over and around the the master bedroom dresser and TV, I did not go over everting with a white glove, this area was very noticeable. I do realize it is a large unit, and the house cleaner is trying to get The basics in the five hour window of people leaving, and arriving, The last question (was the office management company professional?) I never had any contact with a person, this question is not applicable.

Great Location

The unit was fabulous and it is in a great location.If renting durnig a hot spell, please note it does not have AC. Fans are provided; however the windows in the bedrooms only open a small amount from the top.Still think it is a great place.

Stunning Condo on the water

This Condo on the 1st level was just wonderful. Furniture was nice, decorated wonderfully. Loved the small balcony over the water. Right by the large bridge crossing the bay.There was a tsunami warning and we ended up leaving a night early. Unfortunately Oregon Beach Vacations (managing the condo) will not refund the last night we were there. We came in a night early as well. They said "the reservation is non-refundable" but that's not what the VRBO extenuating circumstances policy says. Very unfortunate because we would have liked to return. Possibly they will give us a partial refund and we would change our review.

Perfect getaway

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this unit. The location is perfect. Close to beach access, docks for crabbing & beach for clamming. The patio has a perfect view for watching boats crossing the bar & seeing marine life. Great kitchen comfy beds. Gsrsgec& elevator.

Can’t wait to stay here again!

This condo has breathtaking views, is a stones throw from Rogue Brewery and crab docks, and is next to a beautiful, flat, paved 1/2mile path to the beach! It is so close to everything we love about Newport, primarily Nye Beach and the historic downtown area on the bay.The house was extremely clean and stocked with everything we needed for toiletries and cooking. There were ample dishes, glassware (including wine and cocktail glassware) and cookware. There was no syran wrap, foil or ziplocks but there was tupperware for temporary use! The beds and couches were extremely comfortable. The fireplace added nice ambiance and the TV and puzzles provided entertainment.Love love love this house!!!!

Great location with great view.

The house is in not far away from the harbor and you can watch fishing boats sailing through your windows. But there is loud noise coming from the bridge in the evening. There is sand on the carpet when we checked in. There is not enough cleaning supply for our stay, but we got some from the local store. Water heater is small, and it runs out of hot water after my kids took shower. But overall, we are satisfied.

Great Spot!

Note that it is a Condo and not a townhome. Entrance is on 2nd floor above the garage. We were a little confused checking in but I had two tired toddlers yelling at me while trying to figure it out so probably just me. Great location. We went clamming in the bay right in front of our place. Pier is just down the street. Great View. They do have a no Crab policy but that makes sense due to location next to Pier and how messy and stinky that can be. Overall we reallly enjoyed it and would come back. Having a garage was nice as well.

Seafood & Wine Festival

Amazing view! It was so enjoyable to watch all of the comings and goings in the harbor. Stayed here for the proximity to the Seafood & Wine festival-it couldn't have been a better location. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location and Set Up

Spacious accommodations in a great location. Enjoyed watching the boats go in and out of the harbor. Room sizes were generous with nice bathrooms. Kitchen and family room both large and comfortable. It was also nice to have a garage to park in. Elevator made packing stuff in and out easy. Very simple and straight forward leaving instructions. A few notes: The heat is radiant floor heat - so be sure to turn on as soon as you get there. Kitchen had basics for cook / bakeware, but be sure to bring any condiments / spices / foil / ziplocs you need with you. Garage keypad may have dead battery - so grab the opener from upstairs to use while you are there.

Great location!

The door to the property isn't in the garage, it's upstairs so I was a little confused. And the ad didn't mention that you can't cook crab in the unit but aside from those things we had a great visit! Thanks for having us
