Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved the location of the rental unit and the layout. the kitchen was fairly well-stocked, and there were games etc for the children. But there was an unpleasant mildewy/musty odor in the bunkbed room, the portable fans in each bedroom were very dusty, the lighting overall was not adequate and the microwave is missing its turntable roller. Lastly, I should be given a sufficient number of dishwasher detergent packets for as many days as I am there, not just 3!

Fun Summer Visit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was perfect for our group of 9! Two families had plenty of room to sprad out. Two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, and laundry option were great for staying comfortable all weekend. Thankfully the nights were cool and we all were very comfortable in this condo, no AC was never an issue. Condo was clean upon arrival. Very pleased

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Linda at reservations was extremely helpful and thorough. Access to property was easy. WiFi- great. Location was awesome and quiet- no problems. Upon entering property there was a musty moldy smell, that stayed in our unworn clothes. Cosmetically, the property looked clean, but there were puffs of dog hair in corners and on the rug. ( we brought a non shedding, hypoallergenic dog). There were plenty of games available to play, which were nice to have. Plenty of room for 9 or so people. The condo was actually very nice, but could have done without the odor.

Forest Ridge Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good time despite the cool weather and rain.However there was no way to get some heat in the condo, leading to a very cold experience. We used blankets from our car to keep us warm while sitting in the living room. Also, as we had stayed at the same location last year, and noticed that the sliding glass door in the bedroom did not lock and reported it, we ran into the same situation again this year. Not many lamps, providing it difficult to read in bed with only one lamp on one side of the bed. However overall the place was in good condition and nicey kept up.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived knowing this unit is dog friendly. The entire unit smelled of stale cat urine and vinegar. The bedrooms were the worst since those rooms are carpeted. None of the televisions worked or remotes had no batteries. There were snots wiped on the walls and stains on the table, kitchen bench and the walls. One of the bedrooms has stains all over the ceiling- most likely mold spots. The kitchen chair was broken and so wasn't one of the table drawers. The beds are so old the squeak when you sit on them and the full sized bed had a huge divot so you sink in. Thankfully, loon reservations were able to move us the next morning.

Our experience was overall very satisfying. The location of the condo was opportune as it was adjacent to the pool which we frequented daily. The area is very clean and quite and all the staff was very friendly and accomodating

The property is nice. I was happy with the dog friendly condo. We had access to the Sports Club which had an indoor and outdoor pool. The property was in a good location cloae to restaurants and other attraction

Very nice condo. Would stay again. Problems, no ice cubes, scratch on door leading to mud room, panel on blinds in living room, dirty, the lock on the bedroom door leading to the deck must be checked on.Overall, owners very generous with supplies, and little gift that they leave. Enjoyed our weekend in your beautiful place.

Too Pet Friendly

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, we noticed a huge water stain on the living room ceiling which also at some point had run down the wall making the paint bubble. I called immediately just to make sure they knew about it, as it was never disclosed to us. It was a known issue. This unit smells heavily of must. The entry smelled like dead mouse. Pet friendly is a great option as we regularly hike New Hampshire with our dog. This unit is TOO pet friendly. There are urine stains all over the Living room and master bedroom throw rugs. They tried to sprinkle pet odor powder on them, but never properly vacuumed it up it was still all around the edges and underneath. Our dog wouldnt move away from the couches. Upon further inspection we noticed that the creases of the couch were caked with about 2 inches thick of dog hair, food, and we even found a battery. There was a random ibuprofen under one of the baseboards along with more dog hair and food. This presented a huge problem for us, as our dog was trying to eat all these things. We cleaned the unit ourselves the best we could with the supplies that were there. Throughout the stay there were tiny little drain flies in both bathrooms. The linens are stained to the point we were questioning if they were actually clean. The dishwasher was full of someone elses dishes. I have been booking with loon reservations for many years, in many different units and never had an issues, however this place was disgusting. It needs a good DEEP clean. The positives are; its in a great location, the property is beautiful, it came with access to the fitness center (although the hours were different than stated), the layout of the unit is nice, the unit sleeps many people, its stocked very well even with games and toys. I would never stay here again and I would never recommend it to anyone.

Considering how high the pet fee was, I was surprised to see scratches on the doors etc. from previous guests. That being said, we loved how quiet it was and there was lots of green spaces for the dogs.

Anniversary Get Away

The description was accurate with the layout, amenities and location. The only thing is when you walk in to the unit there is a very strong musty smell. I emptied the dishwasher and dusted the coffee table. Restaurants were close by and we enjoyed some delicious meals. I would recommend this location for easy access for everything the mountains have to offer.

dishes dirty in the dish washer, none of the bedroom lights worked, ( only lamps, did not work with the switch), above tenants very rude about parking.

Moldy smell in entrance (rug)? Floors had to be mopped (socks got dirty) dirty wash cloth in drawer of bureau, light bulb burnt out outside patio couldn’t use or see at night, patio door glass dirty, who ever cleans the place does an awful job. Could not figure out how to use the master bedroom tv. Master bathroom tub faucet drips, deadbolt on entry door needs tightening, inside drawer of oven needs cleaning. I used the oven top cleaner and had to scrape the burnt on ring off the burner as it smelled bad while cooking. The pull out spray in the kitchen sink doesn’t work right. The garbage cans had stinky stuff in the bottoms of them. Bad odor every time the drawer was opened. The hand soap dispensers were watered down and running out. Anyone walking around upstairs is noisy..woken up early due to it. Someone left a dog duty bag near the entry to the place I threw it out so I wouldn’t be blamed for it. The hot tub and pool looked ok but I did not use them.The view from the living room was pleasant and the gas fireplace was a nice touch. The living room furniture is super uncomfortable to sit in. No back support at all.It was nice that it is a pet friendly place and near attractions and the Kancamagus Hwy.
