Great Family Getaway!

We had such a great time on our four day family getaway! The cabin was perfect for us! Loved the views, hot tub, and all slept cozy. We had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinners in the cabin. We got out and played all our days we were there. Would totally stay at this exact cabin again. The view and automatic fireplace were major highlights!

Lovely

Everything was great. Only thing we had a problem with was the driveway and parking. The driveway is very steep so you have to put some force behind the incline, and the cabin next door had taken alot of the parking area so ir was a tight fit to maneuver getting up and down the driveway. But other than that it was beautiful.

Perfect Getaway

Loved it! It was the perfect size and just what we wanted. Close enough to town that it would not be a long drive, but tucked away so that we could just relax without all the noise . This is definitely a cabin that we will remember as had lots of extra room if we chose to have other people with us. ( 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch) The hot tub was perfect to relax in as well! Also had a nice wrap-a-round porch with many chairs to just sit and enjoy being outside if we chose to.

Honeymoon getaway

Had a great time. Place was cozy with a great view. My car had issues getting up the driveway but other than that everything was perfect. We were 10 minutes away from everything as well.

Vacation

Pictures are accurate and it was a very comfortable and quiet place to stay. Hot tub was awesome and anything you needed was there in the kitchen. Would definitely come back!!

Perfect for a family of 4

Place was clean and loved having the hot tub .. we also used the community pool and it was t crowded .. Great location closed to Gatlinburg downtown and not too far from Pigeon forge .. Although technically you can sleep size people ( the couch turns into a futon but six people will be on top of each other .

Great time in the Smokys

We really enjoyed this property. Its location was great. Close to attractions but private. Hot tub, pool access, and two bathrooms were amenities that added to our enjoyment of the property.

It’s cute, but that’s it….

The bed in the second bedroom is like a rock and makes a noise every time you move. You cannot touch the bed without it making a noise. It also advertises a queen bed and it is a full bed. The floor is more comfortable than this bed is. The driveway is absolutely horrible. The pictures and description don’t do it justice, you must have all wheel drive no matter the season. Our full size pickup has to be in 4w low to make it up on a sunny day. It is a straight up incline and blind turn. Parking is also shared with the cabin next door and we had an issue with them blocking one or more of our spots and making it very difficult to get the second car in and out. Eventually they also did take over one of our spots, so do not try to bring more than 2 cars even though you are allowed 3. The unit also provides no extra towels for hot tub and the towels and sheets provided are worse than a hotels linens. Extremely small, very rough, and just horrible to use. The sheet on one of the beds even had a rip in it. There is also zero privacy at the unit. The hot tub is on the front porch like the description says, but what they don’t say is that there is a cabin right next to this one and they have a camera that points directly at the hot tub. Then there were other safety issues. Nails sticking up on the porch. Doors scraping along the floors. Outlets so loose the chargers fall out. The agency was contacted multiple times and nothing was done. The bed was also deemed to be “fine”.

Cute and clean cabin

We enjoyed our 41st anniversary here. The hot tub was great and all the jets worked!! Just be aware the tub is on the front porch very visible to the neighbors front porch.

Beautiful View

It was a wonderful vacation week at the Blue Mist View cabin in Black Bear Falls Log Home Community! We loved the view from the deck and hot tub. The cabin was spacious and quaint at the same time. It had all the amenities mentioned in the listing, including wifi, which for the kids was a must… lol. We would stay here again!

Cabin stay

The cabin and area are beautiful the road was pretty steep but passable. We had a great time lots to do and see in the area. Perfect for family bonding.

Double check your cabin description

First, I was never sent the code to our cabin so I had to call upon arrival so we could get in. Then the cabin I was assigned to was not the cabin showed in the app - we had queen size beds instead of king and there was no whirlpool tub just standard bathrooms. Most of the jets in the hot tub didn’t work and the pool description on this property said it was a heated pool and it definitely was not. I spent over two hours on the phone with vrbo and the property management and neither did anything to rectify our issues, only pointed the finger at each other and took no responsibility for anything. I even sent pictures to them showing proof the description did not match. This was my first time booking with vrbo and I will never do it again.

Poor cabin experience.

The driveway was so steep you couldn't get your car up to the house. There was not even salt and pepper, no baking sheets to even cook a pizza or frozen appetizers, the carpets had leftover stuff so it clearly wasn't vacuumed prior to. The lights over the sink didn't work so it was hard to see washing dishes, you offer a grill but no matches to light it. The washing machine panel was falling off and the dryer didn't ever dry my clothes after 2 cycles of attempting to dry them.. There were just several items wrong with the cabin and not worth the price we paid.

We absolutely loved the cabin it was clean & was just the right space! The only complaint we had was the driveway! We couldn’t make it up but it was okay we parked at the bottom!!

Good luck if the driveways wet!

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin itself. The location is nice and cabin is nice. Bring your favorite paper products. Hotel quality bath tissue and paper towels would be a kind description...think copy paper texture We had to park at the bottom of the driveway and walk up most of our stay due to a light snow. My 2wd pickup may have made it with a heavy footed attempt while carrying speed from the parking area below, but that would have been irresponsible and dangerous. The problem is not only is the short drive steep, it almost immediately also has a sharp right handed turn going up. After the weather cleared and a partially sunny day, it dried enough to get up. There was still some tire spinning though. The neighboring cabin was also rented and the family had a 4wd. I heard tires spinning from them several times as well. They are able to climb the driveway however. Overall the cabin and community seemed very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Just be aware of the driveway. If we decide to stay again, we will probably look for a different cabin even though we enjoyed our stay.
