The castle was amazing and comfortable for our group. The host was so helpful and communicative! We loved our stay!

Our stay at the castle was absolutely wonderful. Mary is the ultimate host. She has thought of every single detail you could possibly imagine. She started us out with some groceries and had products in the bathrooms, including incredible water pressure in the showers and great hair dryers. The grounds are stunning, inclusive of cows and donkeys! A working fireplace was wonderful touch and we had a chef from Anne’s catering cook us a traditional Irish dinner the final night we were there, which was incredibly good and reasonable. The property is easy access to Cork, Dingle and Kerry. Adare and Limerick are close and lovely. Accommodations were exactly as described. If I had to come to this area again, I would absolutely book another holiday at the castle. Thank you Mary!

The castle was perfect for our group of ten. Mary was an amazing host with great communication and truly made us feel cozy and comfortable. This castle is beautiful, great kitchen and living room space for us all to gather. Adare is also a great village to eat at close to the location! Would stay again!

Our stay at the castle was one of the best experiences. We felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our time. The location is perfect to come back to after day trips throughout Ireland. Mary, the hostess, is the very best to work with while planning our trip and once we got there. I highly recommend staying here.

Mary was an amazing host! Very attentive and communicated timely with us. She provided groceries and would clean the fireplace for us daily, so she went above and beyond for us. The castle is beautiful and the animals around the property are very cute and nice as well. Highly reccomend Fanningstown Castle!

The location was absolutely amazing far enough from the city, but close enough to the city if you still needed to pick up a few things. Mary was absolutely amazing. Probably the best hostess we have ever had everything at the property was as described. Actually, the description of the property does no justice you have to see it for yourself. You will fall in love.

A magical, once-in-a-lifetime stay!Staying at this castle was an absolute dream from start to finish - truly one of the best accommodation experiences we have ever had. I will be dreaming about this magical castle forever!Mary is an extraordinary host whose warm hospitality and thoughtfulness made all the difference. She paid attention to so many delightful little details, including going above and beyond to have a fire ready to light for us in the stunning sitting room at the end of each day.We were blown away by her generous welcome! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a beautiful arrangement of goodies—fresh fruit, a stocked fridge, and wine—along with gorgeous fresh floral arrangements in the dining area, foyer, and sitting room. It made our arrival feel so special and luxurious.The castle is immaculately clean, with comfortable beds, beautiful surrounding grounds, and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The location near Adare is fantastic, offering both rich history and lovely local charm. Highly recommend enjoying a pint at the local Thatch Bar just down the road! If you have the opportunity to stay here, don't hesitate. It is an unforgettable experience! Thank you, Mary, for making our trip so incredibly special! You are such an amazing and kind person.
