A beautiful villa with very high quality fixtures and fittings. An outstanding garden area with a lovely pool of perfect size for a large family. A 10 minute walk to the village makes it a wonderful location for a relaxed holiday destination.

Lovely home and easy walking distance to beautiful town

I have rented a number of houses in Provence over the years. The owner Thore is helpful and as charming as his property. He has a responsive and friendly local team that clean and are available to deal with any little issues. A recommended property.

Warm welcome

A very well-equipped and spacious villa within easy walking distance of Eygalieres. The owner was very accessible and went out of his way to.make our stay enjoyable by recommending and booking for us a restaurant for a special occasion. The housekeeper was also very welcoming and informative.

Fabulous property, if anything even nicer than the photos on VRBO. Plenty of room for large group to get together to eat and socialise but also peaceful spaces. Shade spots well thought out. Enjoyed exploring the locale by foot and bicycle.

Wonderful Stay in Eygalieres

This property fulfilled everything we were looking for; Our group covered a wide age range and we were all equally pleased with it. The only fly in the ointment was that VRBO did not communicate with us as they should have done which left me wondering why we were paying a service charge to them.

At a family reunion, however small or large, the venue is important, and we are delighted you appreciated our house and, we assume, the wonderful Alpilles area surrounding us. Dear John, I am really sorry your expectations to our house were not fulfilled. However, the description of the house clearly indicates it is not air-conditioned. Exactly for that reason, we provide all guests well in advance of their arrival with detailed guidelines as to how the house can be kept airy and cool during warm weather. In your case, these guidelines were provided to you by e-mail March 5, some six months prior to your arrival. The principle is simple enough; the house should be vented during evenings and nights and entirely closed during daytime. That you were not able to do this for want of screens on all doors and windows is a requirement our house unfortunately doesn’t fulfil, as the issue has never been brought up by any other guests. Perfect

We are a group of 8 friends for over 40 years. The week was an experience that we will never forget. The villa was beautiful, spacious, stocked with everything and supported by the owner 100%. The village (walking distance) had superb restaurants, bakery, historical sites, etc. The location was central to the region; thus, made day trips easy. The owner went beyond expectations to make our stay enjoyable including making recommendations and reservations at incredible restaurants; responding to any questions about the home; and generally, being available. My favorite was giving us parking sites in the different towns which were the most efficient. The whole group would highly recommend this VRBO.

A stay above and beyond our best expectations

There are not enough words to describe our family reunion time at this magical villa in Eygaliers. In fact, for frequent travelers like us this stay will remain in our memories as simply the best one. I am afraid we now have been spoiled for ever. Every detail was thought through. From the welcoming wine and cheese to greet tired guests to a very informative booklet about how to navigate our way around the property and surroundings. The housekeeper was always on hand and attended to our smallest needs in no time. I would like to say a few words about our host. From the day we booked the villa in January and through the whole stay there in September, 2023 , he was always available to answer our questions and give us the perfect recommendations and tips for local excursions and, most important, restaurants to eat. It was very nice and easy to communicate with him. Any questions we asked were returned instantly with the most precise information and willingness to help. And, make no mistake, there were lots and lots of questions. Every restaurant Thore recommended turned out to be a fantastic choice, and we are not an easy crowd to please. Dear Thore, thank you for everything! You made us feel special! The only bad thing we all agree on was the fact that we had to leave that soon. With gratitude, Helen and the family

Excellent séjour en famille dans la Maison du Procia au coeur des Alpilles

Nous avons passé 2 semaines en famille ( 12 personnes) plus qu'agréables au cœur des Alpilles, installés dans cette belle maison très fonctionnelle, vaste et très bien équipée (en particulier les 2 cuisines intérieure et extérieure!). A 2 pas du centre du charmant village d'Eygalières et à 15 min de voiture de St Rémy de Provence, cette demeure est idéalement placée, au calme, bien protégée du vent et à distance réduite de très nombreux sites et villages à visiter (Arles, Les Baux de Provence, domaines viticoles...). Après le Lubéron en 2021, les Alpilles sont à nouveau une très belle découverte. Un petit mot pour Gwen qui nous a accueillis en début de séjour et qui a toujours été hyper réactive et agréable durant les 15 jours. Merci Gwen! Et merci Thore de nous avoir permis, grâce à votre belle maison parfaitement située, de découvrir une région que nous connaissions peu. Amicalement, Charlotte, Alexandre & toute la famille ;-)

Propriété confortable idéalement située au coeur des Alpilles

La maison possède une cuisine extérieure idéale pour profiter du jardin et de la piscine entre amis. L'environnement est très agréable avec la proximité du village d'Eygalières, accessible à pied. Néanmoins, il faut noter que la disposition des chambres ou le mobilier des salles de bain ne sont pas très pratiques pour des jeunes enfants.

La maison est parfaite pour plusieurs couples avec enfants et chacun peut bénéficier d'un espace séparé. Elle est très bien équipée, la piscine est immense, l'espace extérieur très confortable et le jardin magnifique. Tout est fourni et la personne en charge est très à l'écoute et hyper réactive. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison à quelques pas du centre ville d'Eygalieres. Nous ne pouvons que recommander

Très, très jolie, magnifique!!!

Wir haben uns im sehr gepflegten und geschmackvollen Haus und Anwesen sehr wohl gefühlt! Es war für uns von der Einteilung her optimal. Das Wetter war leider nicht so gut, was für diese Zeit eher ungewöhnlich ist. Wir haben uns meist in der tollen Außenküche und dem dazugehörigen, überdachten Sitzbereich aufgehalten (mit Blick auf den herrlichen Pool, den wir auch genutzt haben!) Eygalierès liegt für Ausflüge günstig, der Markt und die Geschäfte sind bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Ruhe war sehr angenehm für die Erholung. Die Bilder auf der Website entsprachen auch der Realität. Alles in Allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!!! Vielen Dank an Frau und Herr Eilertsen!

Fabulous villa

A superb villa that had loads of space for the 9 of us. The outside kitchen (fridge, freezer, oven and dishwasher) was brilliant and we had many evenings using the BBQ and the cooker. The pool was impressive and cleaned once a week. The garden had many areas to cool off during the hot days and there was even table tennis for the more energetic. It was a 10 minute walk into town for the croissants and baguettes and there were many restaurants to choose from, as well as a weekly market on a Friday. The area is central to all the main tourist routes and car journeys to most took less than an hour. Thore the host was knowledgeable and always responsive to any query, and Gwen was on hand if needed and very helpful The holiday was 5* from start to finish. We've stayed in many villas across France, but this was by far the best.

The BEST VRBO experience we've ever had!

We were in Spain and France celebrating my husband's retirement. I cannot tell you enough how wonderful it was to work with Thore, the property owner! He was such a delight and helped us out with every question and need that we had! The check-in and instructions were very easy and they were so accommodating as we were arriving late on a train! The home was absolutely wonderful and fit every need we had! We could not have asked for anything more! This property and owner were by far the best VRBO we've ever stayed at/dealt with! (and we've stayed at a lot of them) We will definitely stay here if we are ever back in Provence! I HIGHLY recommend this property! Thank you Thore for a wonderful vacation experience! Kathy

Beautiful property in idyllic surroundings

This was a beautiful property, made only more perfect by the stunning location. Great for big groups.. although one of the bedrooms is slightly isolated with no toilet (all of this was known in advance) ... so just needed some thought around who would be best place to take this room. The house came equipped with lots of provisions, hence no need to go out and buy tonnes of stuff on day 1. Garden and pool were tended to weekly .. and there was a linen change mid-stay. Thore was very helpful if providing lots of information regarding the house, the local area and recommendations for restaurants and days out ... I genuinely don't think I have ever stayed at a HomeAway property that was so comprehensively described - and true to its description.

Wonderful stay, ideal location, great host!

We had a wonderful time staying in Eygalières. The villa is in an ideal location, just a couple of minutes cycle or drive from the beautiful village which has everything you could need (boulangerie, grocery stores, several restaurants, bars, a weekly market etc). Additionally you are close enough for day trips to St Rémy, Aix, Arles, Isles Sur la Sourges, Avignon (we went to all in our 5 night stay without feeling we’d spent the whole time in a car) and for exploring the beautiful and numerous local vineyards. The villa itself was perfect for us - a group of 10 adult friends plus 1 child. But it would also suit families. There were plenty of bathrooms to go round and the bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable. The pool was the perfect temperature, and the outdoor kitchen was a real highlight - we loved cooking and eating outdoors. Best of all, however was the warm welcome of Thore who was a wonderful host. He ensured the villa was kitted out for an infant, sent us very comprehensive guides of the area and for the villa, and was very helpful with numerous restaurant recommendations in the vicinity. We would not hesitate to recommend the villa to a friend or return ourselves.

Heaven is a place in Eygalières

Thanks to the wonderful preparation and the warm welcoming of the hosts we had the most wonderful and relaxing holidays in this absolutely overwhelming house. The outdoor kitchen gives you the opportunity to enjoy the preparation of delicious meals outside at the pool and the house is ideal for a whole family up to 12 people. The pictures don't reveal the real beauty of the house and the surroundings. We will for sure be returning next year.
