Bed'njoy propre, confortable et central avec une vue imprenable

Ma maison est située au premier étage d'un immeuble du début du 19Úme siÚcle, entiÚrement rénovée et décorée pour son utilité.
Pour vous accueillir ainsi que vos amis ou votre famille jusqu'à 4 personnes, répartis sur 2 chambres avec couloir commun avec kitchenette de base et salle de bain partagée et toilettes séparées. Toutes les installations sont partagées avec moi lorsque je suis à la maison
Pendant votre séjour, les nécessités de base sont incluses, telles que les torchons, etc.

My Place est la base idĂ©ale pour un sĂ©jour Ă  Amsterdam, Ă  5 minutes Ă  pied de la gare centrale d'Amsterdam. 5 minutes Ă  pied de Nieuwmarkt Lastage oĂč vous trouverez de nombreux restaurants et le cĂ©lĂšbre quartier rouge. Ă  environ 10 minutes Ă  pied de la place du Dam ou de la Rembrandtplein. Ă  partir de 15 minutes de marche, vous atteindrez Museumplein et Leidseplein. Ainsi, vous et vos amis seront sĂ©curisĂ©s pour tout atteindre Ă  pied ou Ă  vĂ©lo, et bien sĂ»r, vous avez le luxe de marcher 5 minutes vers le centre et de prendre un tram, un mĂ©tro ou un ferry pour prendre un train pour visiter le reste des Pays-Bas en aucun c'est Ă  vous!

Host was great and helpful. Not much of a kitchen area but we didn’t spend a lot of time there since we were exploring Amsterdam. It really seems like 1 full bathroom since the toilet and shower were in separate rooms, but that is actually a plus since one person couldn’t tie up both rooms. Overall had a great time.

Great stay - very chilled and friendly property manager. Good location not too far from main attractions. A little noisy with traffic noise but that’s because I couldn’t work out how to shut the window! Overall great stay for me and my dad!

Location of the apartment is convenient to train station and near lots of restaurants (several recommended by host) and all the places you want to visit; on days when weather was miserable we didn’t mind staying in because the view is “Amsterdam”. Hope to stay here again!

Check-in was easy as Roy was outside upon our arrival. Super friendly guy!! It's a 12-15 minute walk from Centraal Station. WiFi is excellent. There's a microwave so you can easily heat/reheat items and there's a fridge large enough to store items like milk, yogurt, cheese, etc. If you're sensitive to light and sound, you need to be prepared. One room has a window that has no curtain covering it, so light does shine through. In the summer, it's very early! Also, the windows are opened at the top and the height of the windows in both rooms are such that they are very difficult to close, despite a "stick" that Roy has. We left the windows open for air flow. Being open meant hearing the noise of the city. Earplugs are a must if sound is a problem. Roy has very small table fans in each room but they offer no real relief and need to be cleaned. The views are wonderful! The location is also fantastic and frankly, that's what you are paying for. You're close to a lot of things and can pick up several trams at the station. The space looks like it's still in renovation mode but is probably the design aesthetic at this point. The shower wasn't working when we were there, but Roy had us use his shower as he was elsewhere. Unfortunately, the real sink was in the shower area and unusable so the only one we had was the very tiny one with the toilet. If you know Nederland at all, you will know that these are merely for handwashing. We managed though!

Both the appartment and Roy were fantastic! The apartment is located within walking distance of all the main activities we had planned and was a great pitstop to come back to on our vacation. The unit was very clean and Roy had great recommendations listed for both food and activities.

This was the perfect place to stay while visiting Amsterdam. Close to everything. All within walking distance. I would highly reccomend!

Quirky and a bit reepy in a great location

Roy is warm & welcoming and it’s in a terrific location. That said, there are some concerns. The VRBO rating of 9.8/10 seems inflated. While the VRBO pictures are mostly accurate they don’t show all.There are several issues that potential renters should be aware of.First, there are 2 flights of stairs one must ascend to reach the unit once inside the building.Secondly, the owners need to travel through your unit several times a day to come and go from their living quarters which are behind this unit. There is no other access for them to their apartment. This includes to walk their dog. And, while they open the doors slowly to this unit when coming or going, they don’t knock or otherwise alert you before entering. As such, I was in my underwear on 2 occasions when they entered our unit unannounced. This is embarrassing and a bit creepy. If only women rented this space, they might feel unsafe to have others walking through their rented unit several times a day.In the bedrooms, there aren’t any closets, nightstands, or headboards. Both mattresses are soft with one overly soft. And 1 light switch in one bedroom operates both bedrooms’ overhead lights simultaneously.In the kitchen area, there isn’t a sink or stovetop. The refrigerator is a mini fridge and there’s no stovetop. There’s also isn’t a table or chairs to sit on and eat at. The only chairs in the unit are 2 wooden chairs in each of the bedrooms, unlike the vinyl ones in the pictures.

Perfect stay!

Everything about this property is perfect! From communication with Roy, check in, to the beautiful canal views was great. Convenient to train station, shops, restaurants and walking around the canals. The accommodations were clean and it was great to have 2 sinks when getting ready. Would definitely stay here again!

La casa si trova in una posizione perfetta, in soli 10 minuti si arriva alla stazione centrale di Amsterdam e/o in centro. Roy Ăš simpaticissimo e molto disponibile.

A Perfect location with a warm host

The host was excellent and the stay was pleasant. I would certainly recommend this spot if you want to be near Central Station and close to all the excitement of Amsterdam.

Would definitely return!

Family with 20 year old and 17 year old, very walkable to centraal train, and all attractions. Very simple, but plenty to be able to pop in and out in between outings. Comfortable and safe! Host was so kind to go over everything with us at check in, easy to reach! Would highly recommend for any party up to 4!

Roy was a great host. Very helpful when we needed anything. The property is very close to the Central train station when you can get anywhere and close to restaurants and stores. It is a simple 2 room apartment with bathroom, refrigerator, microwave and Wi-Fi. No TV though, but that wasn't a problem. We were out and about most of the time anyway.

Great location, easy to get to by commuting—just a 12-minute walk from Amsterdam Central station. Roy is great, he will help you out with whatever you need. Staying here made our vacation in the Netherlands better, I think.
