La Somoza Center ***

Located in the center of the peninsular northwest and of the same province, very close (8 km.) To the A-6 motorway (Exit 326 towards Morales del Arcediano) as it passes through Astorga, it allows, with short and easy displacements, to visit large part of the province: Santiago Millas y Maragatería, Astorga, La Bañeza and Páramo, Ponferrada and Bierzo (Las Médulas), León and even Benavente and north of Zamora (Sanabria Lake), in addition to La Cepeda, La Cabrera and the road to Santiago.

Centro La Somoza (with up to 7 and 17 seats) consists of two houses with independent entrances for opposite squares and intermediate patio; which can be rented together or separately. In total it has about 400 m² with 8-9 rooms and 6 bathrooms:

CASA ISABEL *** stands on an old haystack, and, newly built, has three floors with 5-6 rooms and 4 bathrooms on 275 m² plus 50 m² of patio. It is distributed in:

  • Ground floor (basement from the street to the inner courtyard):
    - Full kitchen-dining room of about 30 m² with pantry, bar, fridge and freezer, 32 "TV, tables and sofa-bed.
- Bathroom with washing machine
    - Drying room, iron, cleaning and refills
    - Living room of about 30 m² with fireplace and hot air turbo for the superior rooms, 42 "TV, tables and side chairs; so it can be used as a lounge, games room or meetings or even as a dining room for up to 24 people.
- Fireplace heat plus electric radiators and optional use butane stoves.
- Covered 25 m² porch with hob, barbecue, ceramic oven and tables.
- Tiled patio of 50 m² with outdoor games (basketball, handball and frog) plus terrace with tables and chairs and 5 meter corridor that communicates with the other house.

• Central floor (entrance to the house):
    - Hall of 15 m² with fireplace, sofa and armchairs, desk and library.
- Living room with sofa bed
    - Three rooms.
- 2 bathrooms.
- Heat of chimneys plus electric radiators.

• Attic:
    - Two rooms; one with balcony to the outside.
- Bath.
- Heat of the chimney of the central plant plus electric radiators.

THE HOUSE OF PEPE (7 seats), stone and renovated, has about 100 m² with:
    - Living room of about 20 m² with wood stove, triplet, 40 "TV and table with chairs.
- Full kitchen with 4 m bar to the living room.
- Three rooms.
- Two bathrooms.
- Cleaning room with washing machine, iron and replacements, plus terrace tables and chairs.
- Heat from the wood stove plus another gas and electric radiators throughout the house.

The Center is, therefore, ideal for meetings and meetings of all kinds of small or large groups of family, friends or colleagues who want to enjoy both the houses and the town as well as its tourist visits in the area and the province.


Note: When the houses are rented to different groups, the patio will be exclusively for Casa Isabel.
